Chapter 4- SUBHANALLAH
Manik felt a slight dab on his shoulder and before he could response he was taken into chest breaking hugged with left him shocked for a minute
" leave me u jackass..."
"Hello to u too...so howz life going kiddo" said cabir dhawan his elder and bit crazy brother
"Complicated "Manik sigged sadly
"Why did she steal your animal cracker...don't worry kiddo...I will buy u..."
Manik shock his head at his brother , some things never change...
"Cabir, can we get a bit serious"
"WHAT!!!! Did I heard u correctly...what did u say...a serious talk..."
Manik threw an irritated glance at his brother...
"So you told her right"
"Who"
"Of course the girl who was singing "
"How do you know...don't tell me its written on my face" manik said being seriously horrified at his brothers statement which made his brother to break in fits of laughter
"No kiddo,but people are not blind around .They can see your absolute bonding and love in your eyes for her she is really a gem I have been observing that"
"I know"He grinned dreamily and his expressions instantly changed in confusion "How can u say that"
" if the girl is pretty and a lot of guys want her, which is quite visible around" Cabir said pointing towards the men crowd who were shamelessly drooling on Nandini... A pang of anger and jealousy all over Manik's body.
"That's a reason to treat her right as u got what they cannot have"
Arnav smiled at his brother's statement
" if she is stupid enough to love u endlessly even after your knowing flaws ...man she is the one"
"But if she doesn't gets jealous when someone has your attention...then someone else has hers"
This statement made his blood boil he looked at his brother with pain in his eyes as merry thought of losing her stabbed his heart
"Rest I leave at u ...to figure it out for yourself"
As he saw nandini advancing towards them with her undivided attention on Manik
The time she notice cabir she gave him a ear to ear smile with a greeting
"Oh my my...my rockstar is
here ...I never know my sweetheart sings so well"Cabir said giving her a brotherly hug and softly peaking her forehead
"Thankyou cabir"said nandini flashing million dollar smile...
"That was not a kind of response I expected from you" said cabir faking anger
"Oh cabir...I was just going to sprang on u and beat u black an blue for not telling me about your arrival ... Hard luck ... This stupid outfit don't allow me to do that..." Said with fake sadness for missing a precious chance to have upper hand on him.
"I really thank your designer for it and all my stars... For making me stand on my feet for one more day"
Nandini and manik broke in fits of laughter.
"Ohky I need to go ...catch u later kiddos...have fun"
Saying this cabir left them to talk in privacy and find out there feeling about each other.
There was awkward silence between them which was broken by manik...
"Hmm you really sang well...I mean""
As he was interrupted by a constant buzzing of his cellphone. He excused himself and went aside. All were office mail notification and one which caught his attention was
"If you love some one, Tell them .Forget about the rules and fear of looking ridiculous. What is truly ridiculous is passing up on an opportunity to tell someone that your heart is invested in them
I am just a call away kiddoo..'
Smile crept on manik's face.he re read the message.He hurriedly started scrolling his contact list and making calls.

Nandini was eagerly waiting for manik to return. A smirk flashed on her face as she saw soha approaching her.
"SOHA!!! U are still here ... I thought you must be hiding somewhere to hide your face"said Nandini in total drama queen style
"Why would I hide my face"said soha ,being least interested in having a conversation
"Because your plan backfired...BTW plan was were nice ...PUBLIC HUMILATION..." Said Nandini dramatically and animatedly.
"But you yourself made me star of the night ...I owe you for this" Nandini laughed sarcastically.
"Tkh! Tkh ! Tkh!... That is why it is said never underestimate your opponent" said Nandini getting to her...a few inches apart from her face.
"You may have been the star of the night ...but cannot be of manik..."
"Oh shutup! "
"Has he ever praised you...about your beauty...about your looks...even generally...a usual step for attraction.." Asked soha which made nandini's nerves go numb.
( yes she is right...actually he never Said a word about it ... I never gave it a thought in this way)
Seeing nandini's expressions , soha smirked.
"So That proves...I am right...good luck chick ...you have really long way to go probably with no destination"
Said soha , patting her face in fake sympathy and walked away.
Manik was a silent observer of all that happened between Nandini and soha...His blood boiled at audacity of that woman...but for now he has something serious to handle and he went away.

Lights went off and a spot light came on Nandini...she hear a song...she was shocked to look at the source.

She saw manik bent down on his knees in front of her with a hand offered to her. Her eyes popped out at his sudden action and especially the choice of the song.

Manik look into nandini's eyes so intently that made her go weak on knees.
Manik smiled slightly and gestured her towards his awaiting hand.She slowly slipped her hand in his.he noticed how perfectly her hand fit into his.

He took Nandini towards the dance floor still not taking eyes from each other, totally oblivious of the world.

Manik and Nandini slowly moved along the beats. Manik look with brimming desire in his eyes which made Nandini felt butterflies in her stomach.

Nandini couldn't believe her ears that manik was actually praising her.Her breathe became rapid with each passing second, as she felt him moving closer towards her, while his skilled hands were busy sending ticklish sensations to her bare waist teasingly. Oh Sweet Lord, what a sensuous torture it was for Nandini!

Nandini sang as she swirled away from manik ,not breaking eye contact with a shy smile on her face. She didn't want the momemt to end.

Manik sang with that sexy smirk glued to his subtle. An extremely surprised nandini didn't have the courage to meet his deep brown eyes, and blushed fiercely on hearing his words.

His heavy breaths sweeping her face in gentle caresses made her open her eyes. He was closer than she had anticipated and his intense eyes were fixed on her face, making an electric current run down her spine. She unconsciously licked her dry lips and his eyes darted towards them. She froze in shock when she saw him lowering his face towards her.
"M-Maniik?"
"Hmm?" He hummed quizzically and she literally felt his chest vibrate against her.
Another tingle of excitement danced the length of her spine. His lips were centimeters away from hers and she couldn't summon the energy to look away.
He said in the same tone as they moved back and forth, and he knew by the rapid beating of her heart that his words had gotten to her.
She attempted to pull away but manik pulled her toward him and closed the space between them by holding her tightly. "You look gorgeous today." He said as he pecked her dented cheek lightly .
Nandini went numb with manik's action
.She felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach.All these feelings were allien to her.
Manik could clearly hear her heartbeats, as he approached even more closer to her, and she tried her best not to look in those eyes. The innocent soul was already feeling weak in her knees when she sensed him staring at her with raw desires brimming in his eyes.
Manik kissed her forehead in utmost affection and He closed his eyes , resting his forehead on hers and feeling the moment.
