CHAPTER 10 - WHEN I AM WITH YOU
Nandini sat in front of her dressing table, looking breathtakingly gorgeous in her maroon bridal attire. But there was something missing - the twinkle in the eyes. Her swollen eyes were evidence of her being worn out. He literally ragged kajol in her eyes to intensify her eye makeup to hide swollen eyes.
"You are ready na ...I will be calling you. Make sure to sound it real" nandini called up her friend.
"Nandini please don't...I won't be able to do it" came a worried beautiful voice.
"Please , for me...you know he won't believe me if I say it to him...so I need a proof ... You have to talk normally...rest I will handle..." Said nandini while packing her bag and cartoons, emptying house to shift to mukti's place as per abhimanyu's ORDER.
Nandini reached at the address where they meet for first time. The place was decorated the way it was decorated on the day when he proposed her. Unconsiously , her fingers curled tightly and caught ring finger securely.
He paced in the lawn while the thoughts of everything that happened haunted her mind. He wait to punish himself , He was pulled out of the silence as he heard footsteps approaching the lawn with soothing tunes of guitar, "it is him" her heart screamed.
Ever got this feeling, can you hear me calling "I Love You"
Standing beside you, want so much to give you and Love You
Manik walked towards nandini which his most sexiest smile. nandini blushed at the lyrics. It always felt the first time whenever he says her this.
Nandini places her palm on manik's mouth confusing manik. But what came next completely shocked manik.
Saanson mein hai sansani si kyun saath tere
Lage yeh shehar pyara kyun sath tere
Aisa lagta mere hi hai jazbaat tere
Lag eyeh shehar pyara kyun sath tere
Nandini sang the song while manik played guitar, completely lost in each others eyes.
(It may be the last time I am with you...I want to sing pur last song together...our hope ...together) NANDINI thought while singing

Khamoshi bolo bane kyun jubaan
Jannat sa lagne lage jahaan

Manik bent slightly and forwarding his hand for dance in front of nandini.
Nandini smiled slightly and placed her hand in his.
Manik twirled her around.
I've got this feeling, can you hear me calling "I Love You"

She would seen it coming nothing come from nothing I love you

He looked at her as she stood in his arms with tears in her eyes. He was confused. The next moment she hugged him tightly, digging her face in his chest.
she just hugged him so tightly, forget everything in the world; make her mind numb to the heart-breaking memories and just remember that she was with him. And he was with her.

Nandini moved away making a distance between them.( manik , don't come so close to me..that walking away becomes difficult for me)
Manik could clearly hear her heartbeats, as he approached closer to her, and she tried her best not to look in those eyes. The innocent soul was already feeling weak in her knees when she sensed him staring at her with raw desires brimming in his eyes.
Her breathe became rapid with each passing second, as she felt him moving closer towards her, while his skilled hands were busy sending ticklish sensations to her bare waist teasingly.
Lagti hai woh raah nayi
Jiss pe dil sau baar chala
Jaane kyun lage kum mujhe ik faasla
Shokh si khwahish bhi ho jawaan

Nandini looked straight into his eyes and move even more closer to manik and wrapped her arms around his neck and slowly moved her one hand back and for in his hairs seductively ( it is the last time I can be this close to you and can claim you mine)

Manik gave a victorious smile lost in her touch and tighten his grip around her waist. He slightly lowered his head towards her ear and sang the last lines .

His heavy breaths sweeping her face in gentle caresses made her open her eyes. He was closer than she had anticipated and his intense eyes were fixed on her face, making an electric current run down her spine. She unconsciously licked her dry lips and his eyes darted towards them. She froze in shock when she saw him lowering his face towards her.
"Manik ?"
"Hmm?" He hummed quizzically and she literally felt his chest vibrate against her. Another tingle of excitement danced the length of her spine. His lips were centimeters away from hers and she couldn't summon the energy to look away.
No NANDINI stop!!! Her brain screamed. Nandini instantly jerked up and pushed manik away.
"Nandini what happened...baby, I love you... Are u alright??" Said manik worryingly.
(Please forgive me manik for what I am going to do ...) Nandini thought and opened her eyes.
"Did I ever say I love you..." She asked coldly crossing her arms around her chest
"I know u love me...and it is most evident thing...even a blind can detect that...u know u suck at lying so why do u try it even..."
"Manik, I hate this habit of yours of assuming things on your own...that not my fault...what did you say...yah...she is not my type ... She is like lassi in wine glass...if she would be last girl to date I would prefer to hung myself "
"Nandini that was past ...what's the point in talking about it???
"It may be pointless for you to talk about ...it do meant everything to me...I...I.."
She choked on her words as she couldn't gather courage to even look into his eyes as she knew he would catch her lie she just wanted to hug him so tightly, forget everything in the world and kiss him senselessly like no tomorrow
She scrunched her eyes to gather courage and his emotion in her eyes...she looked in his eyes furiously
"I was the one who had to face humiliation...and here u go...so how was my lovey Dovey revenge...I hope you enjoyed it..."she smirked wickedly...
"please nandin stop all this... Its really a bad one ...I can even punish u for this...my be a sweet hot punishment" manik smiled pretending to play along with NANDINI.
Nandini smiled wickedly...
Looking at her reaction...manik was numb to response...he couldn't believe what he was hearing...he felt his world crashing
" And u know what..I hate u like anything...I wanted to make your live in hell and leave u rottening...and her I am almost done...finally I m satisfied seeing u like this..this is wat serves u right...u know u always told I was a right fit for you...which I do agree...but I found it as ...RIGHT FIT ...BUT WRONG SHOE"
"SHUT UP NANDINI...JUST SHUT THE F**K UP..."
"What happens manik ... Did my words hurt...oh my baby...but u have to believe and live with the fact that u THE MIGHTY MONSTER MANIK has been dumped by a girl...like srsly...that sounds so amazing..."
She turned around So that Manik cannot see her tears and cried silently...and tried to walk away wiping tears away.
before he held her arm tightly and pinned her against the pillar. He stared in her eyes as she lowered them in the fear that he might see her teary eyes
"Please nandini just say one its not truth please nandini..I know u love me like anything...something is bothering u ...plz love tell me...I can fight with world for u..."
SHe looked at him, the way his innocent eyes were pleading to hear those few words from her mouth..she just wanted to hug him so tightly, forget everything in the world . she couldn't see the pain and hurt in his eyes it hurts...but being the reason behind it broke her even more. But she has to be strong ...for him
" Ohh...so what did you think ... U are so hot and charming that I fall in love with u...i will love u forgetting all the humiliation u made me go through... get a life monster manik"
"look nandini I regret every bit of our past ...whatever I did to you...and I m ready to pay for it but not at cost of you...I love u nandini...and I know
Know my nandini very well...something is bothering u ...plz tell me nandini " he tightened his grip around her waist
"Gosh Manik... So much trust...okay... Wat about a live proof...wait a sec"
"She took out her cell phone and hurriedly dialled a number and put it on loud speaker.
"Hi nandini..wassup..." A cheerful girly voice came
"Nothing much...u tell"
"What do u mean by nothing much ..." said girl shockingly
"I thought you must be giving your romeo puppy hard time tonight..."
"Well...sort off"nandini said with a whatever look
"Srsly nandini..I m damn jealous of u...out of all the men...u mad SUCH A sexy ARROGANT HOT HEADED HUNK to literally wag his tall around u like a love stuck teenager... Hats off to you..."
"Oh don't be jealous of me... I m kind enough to leave him for u ...u can have him now if u want with complete flesh and blood"
"What!!! U mean you broke up with him...but I thought.."
Nandini hurriedly cut her off
"Okay babes I gotta go...catch u later...till
Manik went numb to which shock would be understatement... He couldn't believe his senses what they were making him listen and see...his love cannot be that weak...
"Nandini..swear on me and say u don't love me...swear on our memories...u not even once in our relationship u felt anything for me..."
Khushi saw restlessness in his bloodshot eyes. Her knees went weak...
"Go get a life man...get hold on u...these things happen in life...but u have to come over it...and get off me u jerk...get one thing straight in your pea sized mind...what ever was between us which was probably you own assumptions...is OVER.."
Said nandini pushing his hands of her shoulders roughly.
Manik's heart skipped a beat and flood frozed in his vein. His senses went numb to even fight with her...or respond her as his brain was occupied in absorbing wat he heard...he stood still like a statue with emotionless face but painful bloodshot eyes
After a while of shocked, pin drop silence, he started
turning away from her and scrunching his eyes tightly as she stuck her back against the wall, the feeling of the loss of his warm touch making her numb in a way she couldn't imagine.

P.S- this is totally flashback and next update will have present time too. And NANDINI was suffering from cancer was detected 7 years ago...now she has recovered...
Like we always read about guy /girl having some sort of illness ...or they die or out of blue they become alright which is medically impossible. So I came with completely different concept. Cpz every love story is not to meant to be have smooth road but should always have a happyending that's what I think

Many of you can't handle emotional updates so i wanted to clarify it. But still those who want break from the ff can have it...it is totally fine with me...I respect your decision...as every one have different choices...but please let me know about it...
