CooChi , I doubt is saying that Amms has to "approve" of Manik. Nope, no DDLJ. But just they be awkward pair who will be on Mission Nandu . So to bond with Amms , Manik might do endearing cute stuff to impress considering he will be out of sorts in a different place. It should be Amms who might ease him that he doesn't need to do such stuff but just Manik will be at his best behaviour and might try to win few points with Amms. Just charm the lady who his girl loves so much.

I got your point, Ams not making it a condition for him per say, just Manik actually taking it all onto himself and bungling it all up, ending up feeling silly thus bringing in the laughs. Not for making fun of stereotypes (I hate stereotypes and especially when they are used crudely like they were used in movies like "aiyya" and "chennai express") but for showcasing genuine efforts.

also i want amms to like him despite him being everything she disapproves of cos simple reason he is a good human being. you know like TK was i am sure evrything she approved of yet he is a horrible person. following rules getting up early or for that matter dressing style does not make a person good human being its the fact that they have a good heart that makes them a good human being. and that point should be made here.

and lungi scene if its nandu helping him cos well he has no other clothes to wera i am fine with it just it shouldnt be about impressing amms😊
