Don't you remember Christian's counselor (forgot his name now) telling Anna in the 2nd book that Christian is still an adolescent at heart? You said it yourself that Harshad is like this kid who never grew up.
I believe that Noyo's influence over Harshad goes way beyond a stupid fling (if that's the case). I mean, tu hi bata- why wouldn't someone just move on in life and find new friends instead of keeping his hatred against someone alive for all those years? Don't you think the hatred was generously fueled by someone who never wanted things to be normal for her son? She used Harshad's guilt and resentment against Manik, probably to make sure that the signs from him keep coming as that would ensure Manik being in trouble and Noyo having to rescue him.
Shelly, Harshad is still a little boy at heart, he must have been really hurt when the band broke up because he is still sulking about it , thus his mission of breaking up fab 5 ...and about the other incident of him hiding (it happened before breaking up the band) it must be an error of judgement a reflex action at the heat of the moment by him, after all they were very young at that time...the boys must hv teased him, alienated him, broke up the band...his ego must hv been hurt...which he tried to hide behind his hatred...(just like Manik said to nandini they bully people so that people can't bully them)Harshad and Fab 5 are so similar...But just as you said me too thinks he is hoping for Manik to come around and forgive him some day. I bet you this is the case...All of them are damaged souls..he never moved on coz in his heart Manik is still his friend...thus he doesn't hv new friends...Fab5 are the only people he can connect with...being friends is not possible so he is connecting with them as enemies...
So far all this has nothing to do with Nyo...
Nyo's entry was 2 years back...Harshad was already in a relationship with Mukti and somehow he slept with Nyo...who seduced whom, i have no idea...I think thats all what happened...He might even hv an affair with Nyo for some time which i doubt coz I felt like deep down he really cares for Mukti...i dont believe Nyo has any hand in shaping up Harshad...if she has...it is yet to be seen...
another thing that could have happened, Manik might hv misunderstood the whole Harshad-Nyo scene...he probably never had an affair with Nyo...Harshad saw how much the idea hurt and affected Manik so he left it that way ...he never straighten the fact...
Nyo doesn't give a damn about anyone else apart ffrom herself...she never cared enough and had time for her own son..how can she go around playing mind/sexual games with another boy???

Elena was abused by her father when she was a child, she thought she has escaped it when she got married but she was proven wrong as her husband too turned out to be an abuser. So, she found out a way to vent her frustrations against those men by taking an upper-hand over a teenager who hated being touched and made him what he became.
In Noyo's case, it's different. I'm not saying that the sexual part was prolonged but I'm beyond sure that there's more to Harshad-Noyo than just the older woman's sexual influence.
