Me: oh toh tum aaj Diwali bhool gaye ,kal ko kya pata mujhe bhi bhool gaye tho

Manik :nandini...(he shouted at me)

(Oh my god..yeh meine kya bhol diya,he was too angry now his face resembled that watsaap emoticon angry 😡red hot wala...he came running to me and pinned me to the wall,with his two hands on the wall blocking my way out)

Manik: hw dare you say that??

Me: nahi manik ..voh mein...

Manik: just shut up...(he screamed)

(I understood ki meine soote huye sher ko jaga diya hain aur isse shaant bhi mujhe hi karna hai,I entangled my hands around his neck,I removed my chappals and stepped onto his feet and started swinging)

Manik:yeh kya rahi ho.ghir jaogi(and he held my waist)

Me:nahi girungi...tum ho na..

Manik:dekho jyaada maska mat lagao..mujhe sach me gussa aya hua hain

Me:I'm sorry manik,mujhe pata hai nandini murthy ko bhoolke tum ek bhi saans nahi le sakte ho saying this I pecked his cheeks...(and now mera sher shaant ho raha tha)

Manik: don't evr say that again... nxt time if this happens tum muje control nahi kar paogi ..i promise u that...

Me:ok ,deal ..

(He kissed my forhead)

Me:bus iss tarah mujhe kitchen thak drop kardo...

Manik:kya? Iss tarah..tum itni moti ho gayi ho..mere pair dard kar raha hain

Me:manikkk...(I started punching him)

Manik:oh...bus bus Mary,, Kom kya sirf tum mazak kar sakthi ho mein nahi...acha chalo khade ho jao me tume kitchen tak leke jaunga

(hearing this,mein pehle ki tarah uske pair pe khadi ho gayi..and he started walking..)

Manik: tume nahi lagte ki aj kal mujhse jyaada monster tum banti jaa rahi ho

We both cudnt stop laughing...

Me:so..mr monster aaj Diwali..hai.toh bahut saare kaam hai and tumhaare pass do options hai .

Option a) tum mujhe yahaa cleaning mein help karoge

Option b) tum saari shopping karoge

Manik:chii sirf do options..actually 4 options hote hai na..baaki do mein batata hoon

Option c) biwi ke saath romance karo

Option d) phir se biwi ke saath romance karo

Me:No...4 options sirf Amitab bachan ke pass hota hai..aur yeh nandini moorty ka game hai...toh sirf two options...

Me:ok mein tum eek Diwali offer deti hoon last two options aaj evng ke liye rakh leti hoon..teek hai

Mean while we reached kitchen..

Me:that's like my good boy ..toh ab mujhe uttaaroo

( I got down from his feet )

Me:mein break fast banati hoon tab tak tum jaake fresh ho jao..shopping keliye jaana hain na

Manik:ok..done..bolo kya banane jaa rahi ho...hyderabadi biryani??nd he started laughing

Me:manikkk...(I punched him on his stomach)

Manik: ouch...tik hain tik hain aaj brkfast mein banaungaa..

Me:are u sure?

Manik:haaa..100%..tum jao yaha se varna mera concentration chala jayega...

Me: ok then..Sanjeev Kapoor ji...mein cleaning ke liye jaati hoon

Manik: achaaa tumse toh acha bana leta hoon na..miss Hyderabad biryani...ab jao na tum...

Me:manik...tik hain bye..

(He was in the kitchen..and I took a piece of cloth and a bucket of water to the door side ,to start my cleaning works..i opened the front door to wipe of dust from the name plate hung in front of it...

"Mr &Mrs Malhotra"it was written on a mirror piece in blue letters)

Me:itna saara dust..i took off from there and wiped with the cloth...while doing this I cudnt just ignore the train of flashbackss in my mind...I spoke to my self hum manik aur nandini se mr and mrs malhotra kaise bane?it wasn't an easy journey for us...par humara pyaar hume yaahan tak leke aya...that dayyy...changed my life..fusion concert..aiyappaa...

flashback

Fc ke shuru hone se pehle..mein itni darii huyi thii..pata nahi tha kya hone wala...I took all my courage went to manik and said

Me: manik, mujhe nahi pata ki yeh raat hum dono keliye konsa mode leke ayyegi wat I know is I LOVE YOU,aur hamesha karti rahungi tumhare bina jee nahi paaungi.(.he was overwhelmed by my confession he cupped my face and kissed my forehead..and smiled).

Manik: I always knew it..ab jao tumahara performance shuru honewala..

(mein thoda disappointed thi ki why didn't he say anything...I turned and started walking but)

Manik:nandini...raat abhi khatam nayi huyiii(smilingly)

Me: hmmm...(I smiled back at him)

I got onto the stage and sat down holding my veena..in the dark...I started playing it then lights were on,next it was druv"s part...i heared the guitar music and just turned expecting druv but ...its manik ...he winked at me..my heart was jumping with joy...we were performing together...palying instruments together singing and pouring our hearts out we finished our performance...I cudnt stop myself running to him nd hug him in the backstage nd he hugged me more tightly and then

Me:manik...yeh sab hua kaise..

Manik: dehko meine apna promise pura kiya,and its ur turn ..itne saare pending promises hai tumhare ek ek karke pura karna hai na...

Me: (I knew wat he meant) voh sab mein pura karoongi..tum batho pehle yeh sab kaise hua

Manik: ok..meine kaha than a tumse ki panditji ke intentions tik nahi hain,uske trap meine pehle ek ladki phas chukki thi...aur meri uss ladki se baat hui nd wen I told her abt the situation over here usne yehi kaha ki pandit ka next target tum ho...hum sabne milkar us ladki ko yaha bulaya or ek trap se pandit ko confess karaya..ki uske intentions ache nahi the aur vo toh tume world tour pe leke jaana chahta tha..mujse alg karke...yeh saari bathe druv ne suni,aur use realize hua ki voh to sirf ek raasta tha pandit ka tum tak pahunchne keliye...

He too realized his mistake and hum sabse usne maafi bhi maangi...usne hi mujhe yahan tumahare saath perform karne keliye bheja hai.

Me: (tears filled my eyes)om my god how cud he do this...(then I juz broke down)

Manik: nanduu stop crying dekho sab teek ho gaya hain na...dekho isliya main tumhe hamesha kehta hoon ki kisika face dekhkar yeh mat samjo ki voh innocent hai...mat ro na aba cha sunoo...tum hi toh kehti ho na har galat chiz mein bhi ek positivity hoti hain.to yahi samaj lo...iss incident se tume yeh aage ki life keliye tumhe itna bada lesson jo mila hai...aur tho aur isne humare relation ko aur bhi strong bana diya hain

Me: ( I stopped crying..and hugged him ) tum ab meri lines bhi bolne lag gaye

Manik: din raat tumhare aage piche gumunga toh itna toh asar banta hain na

(then we heard a call for all the participants of the competion for announcing the results,we moved towards the stage)

Host : so now its time for the results

We were so happy...we were on the top of the world.it felt like we have conquered the world,he looked at me blinked his eyes

(I was shocked thinking ab isse kya hua)

He continued:hello everyone (waving towards the crowd) this was the most awaited day of my life not because of this fusion concert,because today I'm gonna confess my feeling for someone in front the whole world

Me: ayipaa ab ye kya karege...after all Manik Is Manik

He started walking towards me...kneeled down infront of me.

Manik:Nandini I LOVE YOU ,aur hamesha humesha karta rahunga,tumhare bina jee nahi paunga,I want you to shine for me,mein tumhare har prayer mein rahna chahta hoon,aur har andhere mein mujhe tumhara haat chahiyee,I need u ,to complete my life,and I want to grow old with you..

(tears started rolling down the cheeks from my eyes)

I also kneeled down

Me: I LOVE TOO MANIK ,mein tumhe hamesha apne prayers mein rakhoongi,life ke har situation mein tumahare saath chalungi,and I too want to grow old with u

(we hugged each other so tightly...as it was the last hug...we cud hear the crowd clapping,)

After few minutes cabir came up followed by others and navyaa too and broke our hug...we both stood up

Cabir: nandini tumne toh isse romeo bana diya,baba ne kya bhashan diya aaj...(laughingly)..welcome to our family nandini.

And he hugged me,then mukti alya druv navya

Manik took the mike again and said itne din aap sab toote huye fab 5 ka maza uda rahe the na ab yeh bhi dekhlo we are together ,nobody can tear us apart...(.looking at nyonika)

After this ,manik and myself went for a long long romantic drive ...to a hill side where he wanted me to fulfill all my promises...

We became an official couple in the college..aur pyaar bare din beeth the gaye,manik ne course complete kiya ,and he joined for PG In music ,along with part time MBA.Since I was his junior I had to continue without him in the college...as time passed I also completesd my course..then I was in a big dilemma wat to do next...i didn't wanedt to continue with music,since it wasn't my passion,everybody knew that meine space voluntarily join nahi kiya tha...it aws an accident..but it was for good otherwise mujhe maanik kaise miltha.. Then on one valentine manik gifted me an envelope,it was an application form of ST Theresas Science college ,

Me:tumhe kaise pata chala ki...

Manik:( he showed me my black dairy that I had forgotten in his car,nd kept his hand on my shoulder) nandu life mein voh karo jo tumhara dil chahta hain,scientist banana tumhare aur tumhare dad ka sapna than na,toh tum use pura karooo...mein hoon na tumhare saath

(I joined science college ,time passed by,Then we both completed our respective courses,I become a junior research assistant cum student at All India Science Institute,fab 5 strated a small recording studio as their joint venture,They also did music shows..)

(manik and I decided not too seek any further favours from nyonika,we together started saving for our future..we bought this apartment with that and Then we got married 2 yrs back on a valentines day)

Breaking train of my thoughts...

Manik: nandu khaana ready hai,jaldi aao

Me: lo aayiii...i kissed that name plate and hunged it again on the door and went to the dining hall...
