Secondly, I would have appreciated it if they had given some more meat to Nandini's point blank acceptance of it. Even a tie-up to her love realization would have done. Dude the 'conditions applied' thing was merely lip service.. when have either of them adhered to it or let it impact their equation negatively.. they have always been beyond it, in fact even at their lowest, if they ever felt that the circumstances were overwhelming them they would opt for a 'break' rather than lose that connect with each other.. they used the condition as a convenient cop out to be together when they couldn't admit to it openly but never as THE reason for their togetherness.. that was always the implicit craving for the other's mere presence which I feel changes all the rules in the game and the way we perceive it..

Yes, Nandu took it literally initially cuz face value et al and she wanted the tangible but eventually even that didn't matter cuz at crunch time, he was ready to chuck it all if it meant her losing her smile.. That for me, raised their equation to unconditional level.. if he hadn't made a clear cut choice his initial effort at escapism would have bothered me but he did come through so it nullifies it in the end..

As for the second thing, this disservice they have consistently done with Nandu's character so what's new here? I could give you all of Genie's arguments about this but you know them well so I won't bother😛

The love realization is meant to be implied obviously cuz what else could motivate her this desperately.. She gave in cuz it's what she does.. fights till the end and at that point not trying/engaging in his game would be the same as giving up, totally OOC for her..

I don't think the game/symbol is the thing putting pressure on her.. especially now they are at a point where she knows that they could give it all up and still have each other.. that much surety he has already given her..

Rather she is using this to enable her own escapist tendencies as always.. it is easier to focus on this hopewala tangible than to face her own fears and vulnerabilities as a victim so she is choosing to do that..

It is unfortunate and obviously since I share your bias, hurts to watch but it is her characterization.. at this point in the story it could only play out this way..
