Ok just a thought, the way manik and nandini aren't supposed to be with each other for two days till the concert, border along similar lines of how manik had to go underground after the soha drama!...or am i over reading it! That led to Valentine dhamaka and hate confession , this time a love confession...and closing of loops like boss😆

@BI: The truth is redundant at this point cuz they're both past it.. but it's KY2 world so loop closure is inevitable.. I have a feeling they will touch upon this subject when the Nyo track has been fully opened and all her manipulations are being explored and resolved.. cuz essentially Soha was just a tool.. ultimately it was Nyo's mischief that screwed things up..

Anyway my biggest issue with the kill argument was the way it was presented as a trust v/s doubt issue when I have personally always felt that it was a perception/differing viewpoints issue more than anything else.. Manik had no problems with her truth, he had problems with her perception of him.. If she, his shining star felt a moment of doubt in his perceived goodness, then what 'hope' did they have long term when he had so little faith in his own goodness in the first place..

Which is why it always bothered me when the resolution of this track was looked at as Manik acknowledging his anger issues and admitting Nandu was right in the first place.. Arre but what would that do? He has been saying Nandu is right from day 1, he just doesn't like her version of it cuz he was interpreting it all wrong.. what I wanted for him was self-realization..

So when the hope v/s hate game was set up I could appreciate it cuz it was close to what I wanted.. an ideology clash on the basic level that would force them to view things from each other's perspective and discover some sort of middle ground..

And it worked to a greater extent... after his initial anger had passed and she had convinced him that he couldn't in fact scare her away with his monster facade, he began to process what she saying and started to calm down.. the angry edge had mellowed and yet he felt the need to hold her at a distance cuz he hadn't found his assurance yet..

This is such a delicate balance to maintain and yet they have written it so well.. he constantly faltered with his temper.. on some days he failed miserably like the squeezing his waist, trashing benches and on some days he excelled like during the Rocky incident.. but what came shining through for him with each instance is that Nandu accepted him regardless.. he didn't need to be "good" to win her loyalty, he had even when he didn't expect it.. This was the true turning point for him.. his realization of what unconditional actually means.. not blind faith/absolute trust.. but someone with complete awareness who loves you inspite of yourself.. after this he could let go of the games, buy into her hope and be the optimistic one for her..

They have switched their roles now yes but the transition is not random at all.. they have both evolved and grown into each other's POV.. THAT is the true elegance and subtle beauty of this track😳

Yeah the parallels are evident. Wahaan Manik was the muse, yahaan Nandini. The threat hanging over her head, making Manik desperate- that too. Plus what you pointed out, though I'm not sure ANYTHING in this universe, let alone Navya, can make them stay away from each other right now. Both are in fultoo tragic-lovers mode. 😆 Difference is, this time they're clearly communicating their worries and problems to each other unlike last time, and that's an encouraging sign. The V-day RESOLUTION of sorts. 😛😆
