SBS and Tellychakkar are reliable sources for TV Industry News. And both the sites had said Parth is leaving. Even MTV confirmation only said , "Your favorite Manik is not going anywhere". Parth also did not confirm not leaving. He just said, "As of now I am playing Manik in the Show". He also said that he is considering other projects and may leave if he finds something better for his Career. So now things should be quite clear to Parth fans. Personally I wouldn't be interested in the desi version of Games of Thrones. I will not watch another Parth Samthaan Show ever as his track record will be that of a midway quitter if he quits KY2. Just think of it, he is just 2 Shows old and quits both midway! I would prefer to see the same actor till the end than see multiple actors playing the same role. No offense meant to the actor or his fans, it's just my opinion.
