i m sorry to disagree, no actually i m not sorry with those people who says tht it was mukti who should have mantained her dignity matlab this shows wht happened today if it would have happened with a prostitute u would have reacted same way. I mean i m really shocked how educated people r behaving here. I think cvs r doing brilliant job here. i m law student nd even indial law provides tht while questioning the rape victim she can't be questioned on the basis of her personal way of life so if a prostitute is raped thn she can't be cross examined on the basis of her profession because a rape is rape where there is no consent.
i m just trying to say here wht happened today with mukti could have happened with anyone so a wrong is a wrong no matter with whomm it happens nd i think tht is only cvs wants to tell tht no matter wht mukti does in her life a wrong is wrong
I might be harsh here but i think there is no difference btw those people who wants justice for women on the basis of their lifestyle nd tht politician shown in today's episode.

Rahi baat show ki thn i want to say hatts off to cv atleast they r trying to show the truth here rather than those saas bahu drama which our indian audiance enjoy soo much neglecting the harsh reality of the society.
I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT HERE WHAT MUKTI DOES IN HER LIFE IS NOT THE CONCERN BUT A WRONG HAS TO BE STOPPED NO MATTER WITH WHOM IT HAPPENS

Guys even i m manan fan but i m proud tht they r cmg with such a good concept.

If i hv written something wrong thn moderstor can close this topic. Thts all i want to say

I totally agree with you... Its not about how Mukti's character was shown .. Ita about how those cheap guys were sending her messages and all... And the show is doing. Great job :) !!

i never cared about what clothes, job or how many guys a girl ever slept with!
i have myself many times even supported that not even a prostitute deserves to be raped or humiliated.
But this track's foundation is very weak, the execution is weak, as girls we are all understanding...
anyway we still have 3 days left, so let's see if MTV can do justice to such a sensitive issue😊

but i guess the worst was that article about s**t walk, this s**t walk really angered people, because this is not the right way to show a wrong... anyway like i said above abhi 3 episodes baki hain, so let's wait and see.

Rather we judge mukti character based on past we should judgeher on present.. According to me she was the right character to bring this track.. But the track should not end only on her issue... They should merge both the track of Mukti and Nandini... Rather the cvs concentrating only on the issue of wearing short clothes they should concentrate on the issue of sexual harrasment... They should bring the reality that the mindset of person is a wrong not dressing sense of women.. Because we all know how todays world is moving on.. If women wear decent and full covered dress also she get harrased and raped.. If she wear short dress also women get raped.. No difference in dressing style..

This is not about s**t-shaming or judging Mukti. This is the basic premise that they havent addressed the real issue, which is Mukti using sex as a crutch. If Mukti was unapologetic about having sex with multiple partners, I don't think I would have ever had a problem, but the fact that Mukti feels embarrassed after the consensual sex, key word being consensual but would rather blame the jerk who while he is a jerk had consensual sex. The problem is Mukti is glossing over her own problem, so now they win against this jerk and his brother, tomorrow if Mukti has another problem and goes home with a stranger in the bar and never comes back? Then what?
Mukti just becomes a headstone in a "cause celebre"?

Finally I found sumthin worth reading... I agree multi has her flaws but keeping that aside she is a woman and has to be respected her dignity has to be maintained and if she says a NO... Its a no no matter hw many times she did sleep or watever... She has d right to say a no... And watever those politicians say and talk bout dress code is wrong... Infavt i feel its good that they took mukti s example... Coz even she is a girl and its d mentality that has to be changed

Prostitutes don't do anything to deserve that. its their profession and people should learn to respect it. No one dreams of being one, they end up one. So no, none of us will ever question or blame a prostitute.
Now coming to Mukti. Why we blame her is not because of her lifestyle, we are calling out on her hypocrisy. When she did the same with Shahid, he was forced to the level of committing suicide, does she regret that? Does she guilt trips over that? No. The problem lies in that. If she goes around bullying people, she should also know how to handle these situations. We don't question people who have casual sex, we are pointing out on Mukti as she is using sex as means to numb her pain. Now that is wrong.

The whole points come down to, we don't say issue or cause is bad, we are just saying had this been handled properly and NOT shows as aftermath of consensual sex, none of us would have raged out the way we did.

She didn't blame him for having sex. She's guilty about the decisions she's made. She's furious because he circulated her number and publicised her as an easy s**t for it. He slept with her, why should only she be on the receiving end of the shaming (which originated from him)

I am sorry but I think you are missing the point and doing a heavy handed generalization.
First of all, Mukti was not raped, she had consensual sex with rocky just like she had with other random guys before. And sleeping with multiple ppl is completely fine, it's a personal choice of lifestyle. but the interesting thing here is to note that she herself thinks its wrong, felt guilty after sleeping with rocky. why?? and here what are we supporting? supporting right to choose sleeping partners when the said character herself doesn't feel clean abt it?

what mukti is facing, its harassment , guys/media calling her names and humiliating her publicly which is again pretty wrong and shd not be tolerated, but this track is weak coz there are too many unresolved demons in mukti, she is self-destructive, a bully, blind to her own faults and so on, its hard to sweep all that under the rug because of a track that is being forced down our throats. If the politician and media thing happened to any other character, ppl in general wd have had more empathy.

Again just my pov.
