Nandu had a lot more to her before Mani entered because they never played their angle. She had Dhruv, Navya, Harshad. But they all had their own stories and she ended up being our eyes for Manik. Tv constraints chose her to be the narrator .

They try to make her real as much as they can. See her hypocrisy, she will give gyaan and defend Abhi's going to prove true love but she will be the first one to mock it if Manik pulls that stunt.They saved her and still made her interesting by that kill doubt but look at the reaction. I appreciate writers for going there and not compromising or selling out Nandini. Thats the realist in me speaking like that.

Nope that argument works if we are talking of Manik's perspective of Nandu but we're not.. we're talking about the audience perspective of her.. there is less effort made to built that connect and that is the writer's failing.. they have constraints and different priorities etc. we get that but it's this inequality that leaves room for misinterpretation of her thoughts and actions simply because there is less clarity in how she functions.. everything we discover about her we extrapolate, there is never any evidence or validation of it except on rare occasions unlike Manik whose every action is traced with utmost attention to detail.

Sometimes I feel like Nandini should just punch Dhruv and Manik and tell them to go to hell.🤣 sometimes only.

@13th - Will have this debate later, but how do you think they can sell her conflicts to audience without involving Manik anywhere. For her reactions to play out you will need an external locus.
