This post is pure genius. your so right their hands have always told a separate story from the get go and I think this is another reason why it makes Manik and Nandini's relationship so different. And I love it when we get a scene were they hold hands 😳
I'm no good with explanations and so forgive me if it doesn't make sense but I thought I'll give it try.
This is one of my favourite scenes of them anyway but this hand holding always makes it more special. So before it happens they have their heart to heart sitting back to back. Both trying to ease eachother's pain while they're both on a crossroad. But Nandini panics when she hears that he's confused on what he needs to do so she decides to solve Manik's problem and tells him that when he's confused he should follow his heart not knowing that she's made him realise that the most important thing for him is to see Nandini safe in front of his eyes. Hai the sheer bliss in seeing the love for each other through their eyes, they give each other the last smile

Ok so I just read everyones analysis and mine seems so crap 😆 Hopefully I can make up for it by sharing the GIF and you guys can explain it better 😆

I love my dp too! So very much! That entire track revolved around the danger to his hand, so I think we got more of these moments than usual. But even then, the break scene was just so special because of how the shots highlighted this beautiful contrast between their hands. Jungle scene where she scratched his hand. Ouch. Haha, I love it when Nandu is a wildcat, and Manik secretly loves it too. 😆

THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS SHOW MUCH. The simplicity and depth they insinuate and demonstrate with 'touch' The way they use hands, its not just simple, it's life, its everything. Manik and Nandini use their hands to express love, its like their hands have their own souls, hands recognize one another when even they don't. That tremor in his hand when she slid her hand in his, i just stopped right there. WOAAH. How beautiful was that moment? And how brilliantly incorporated. No words needed, nothing absolutely nothing but their hands. And its the hands since the start! Even after the fireflies scene, in the old home, its their hands that collide and they feel something for the first time, then in his car, and how beautifully was it shot in the storeroom scene? Their touches are like strokes, painting a story and depth of its own.

This is what makes them so real and surreal at the same time. All they need is a touch to communicate, even when they can't, their hands and foreheads and skin do more than they ever will. Like having a whole body of their own, mind of their own, they just recognize one another. They mean the world to each other.

How beautiful was that hand amputation track when they sat beneath that old table and she simply kept tracing his hand and staring at it? And everyime the first thing he did was clasping their fingers, kissing her hands, just brushing. HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE BABIES? SO REALISTIC AND SOO SOO DEEP THAT THEY BRING TEARS TO YOUR EYES and this innocence makes you want to root for them <33 Their touches sing another story. Such a beautiful story <33

I love the music room hand tango so much. They both were so tired, so worried about each other . The concern, the exhaustion , they were so lost standing at that cross-road yet when their hands meet- they try to assure each other of their shared love, trust and give this faith that they will be together, that they will get through this for their love. So many emotions , so many feels, touch undid all the need for words
