Maanik's heart just could not see nandini being held by someone else.. If his mind was present it would have seen that it was *just the saving someone who was falling* nothing to get possessive over, and esp if you are trying to hate that falling person but his heart... It just didn't see anything else.. I think more than jealousy it was the helplessness, feeling of inadequacy of not being there for nandini when she needed.. Seeing her smiling towards panditji was last straw.. Oh and look at his concern when he asks her if she is ok and asking panditji to not take her with him.. Who is he trying to fool :)

The best part was panditji asking nandini if she thinks he is blind... That whole converstation of making her realise that its isnt like she will stay on the concert even if she keeps loosing her focus... She needed to hear that.. the concert isnt just about getting maanik back... it is also about the music... And she needs to learn to respect that...

Her tiptoeing behind maanik .. He told her don't act cute... Was it is his way of trying to control his feelings.. But was he successful.. No.. .He almost interrogated her about falling in panditji's arms :) But our Nandini (i love her for the attitude she gave him today.. that's the nandini maanik fell in love with) she told him it was he she was hoping to catch her... But only for him to deny that.. But nandini was not ready to back down and proved his claim right there... She told him the score is 1 all but we know its more than that :) Because the scoring didn't start when they started counting points.. We have been scoring since long time back.. The moment maanik told her that he hates her... And we all know the score isn't even.. If it was he wouldn't be here catching her.. feeling jealous, helpless.. He would be letting her fall as he told.. He wouldn't be fighting his own hope... For now let these two be in that bubble but we all know what the reality is...

Heyyy... Ok firstly I'm soo sorry the update wasn't up the usual time. I had an early night last night so couldn't update but I'm glad you didn't wait up and wrote me your beautiful essay. There were so many points I loved here. Firstly, bravo for bringing up nandu and panditji's convo. You're absolutely right that she needed that talk. She needs to realize that they will reunite once they sing together on that stage but if she continues with this distracted attitude, it'll lead her nowhere. They just don't realize it yet but this concert will open up many opportunities for them. I also exceptionally liked how Panditji praises manik's musical talent. My respect for him in that scene escalated to a brand new level because he was speaking like a true artist. Like they always say that only an artist can recognize true talent and hats off to him for looking through Manik's other flaws and only paying heed to his talent.

Yup so true when you say that more than jealousy it was helplessness. In fact there were so many other emotions too. His frustration, irritation and anger were all evident and like I mentioned in my pos, today he fought less with nandu I and more with himself.

I still can't get over Nandu's second fall. Like omg it was just such a brilliant scene. The way they started off with their nhok-jhok's and then the scene was filled with just endless air of love. The way she gives him that teasing smile right before she goes back downstairs was what made his heart melt. He knew in that fraction of a second that she was is and will always be the same Nandini that he initially fell for.

Really looking forward to tonight's episode and who knows we may even see some emotional scene of theirs tonight when they realize; looking at abhi's condition; that how granted they just might be taking each other for at this stage.

Yes he smiled :) And wasn't it cute that he didn't even realize how and when Nandini brought that on :) as you said even though nandini thinks its 1 all, its more than that... I am not sure at this stage his hate can play any role any more... She has already broken his wall... Ice is melting.. Wound is healing.. He is smiling... His own hope is returning.. And add to that precap scene.. He would (hopefully) realize not to waste time fighting over such small matters when he knows what his heart desires.. His mind is already almost coming to term with it.. All it needs is that one more push and hopefully Abhimanyu and his health situation along with mukti's helplessness would provide him that...

He was guilty and punishment-worthy for that every tear that escaped from her eyes because of his harsh words. He was guilty for the every laugh he laughed; even if it was for just 5 seconds; but for everytime she suffered, His involuntary movement started once again. His fidgeting started once again. He had hoped that it wouldn't return today to give away his secret but little did he know that it was almost like an automatic response now. A response out of his control. Every time he would see her suffering he would find himself in the helpless and restless state of mind. The only way to overcome this helplessness was if he let his heart win this baffling war. Then came the point he couldn't take it anymore. He was holding back the urge to run to her and sweep her up in his arms so she wouldn't have to walk a single step more. But his mind wasn't going to let him give in that easily. So he finally spoke up. "Don't you think you're taking it too far?" Let us remind ourselves that this is the same Manik Malhotra who couldn't even stand the sight of this panditji let alone talk to him. But today, he spoke because she was in pain. The way he kept his eyes on her, even whilst talking to panditji was his heart's first victory of today. He could go to any extent to see her pain-free, misery-free and agony-free. So reasoning with panditji would be the least he'd be able to do for her in this situation. Seeing her breathless, he could feel the lack of oxygen himself. Seeing her swaying a little out of exhaustion, he could feel the ground shaking beneath his own feet. But the question remained... Had he taken it too far? The panditji had already answered him upon his first ask, but this question yet still remained that his heart couldn't help but ask him. Had he exceeded his limits today? The limits he'd himself marked which would allow him to keep his distance from her but it would also allow her to stay close to him. He was still searching for the answer within him, when the unimaginable happened. The hands that used to always stay on alert to save his love if the need ever be, were a little too slow today. And he knew the catch that he had just missed was one which was going to haunt him for the coming days. It wasn't just any catch he had missed. He had missed and failed to live upto his promise to her. That he'll always protect her, he'd never let her fall.He had missed the opportunity to hold her closely against his heart and feel the warmth and calm that only she could evoke in him. He had missed the lucky chance of losing himself in the depth of her love-filled eyes and allowing his heart to just heal a little more. But it was already too late. What was meant to happen, had already happened and Manik knew he would have to bear with the thought of someone else's arms around her for the rest of the day.

He would have told nandini yesterday that he is going to make her life hell.. and only if she can survive that and sing with him in concert he might be able to smile.. might be able to get back with her... But nandini.. Today she proved him wrong.. She told him that all she has to do is faint and he would forget everything and smile for her.. be there for her.. Would be her Maanik and not monster maanik that he is so desperately trying to be.. The same Maanik that was smirking at her yesterday and boasting about *face value*... He got the reality check... His heart couldnt tolerate the slightest pain he had caused her.. You said it so beautifully, he wasn't just angry that he wasnt there to catch her when she fell.. He was angry that he brought that pain.. He brought that distance.. And more over along with that questions about is he doing right thing.. The battle that he thought he was fighting with his mind.. it's opponent just got stronger with support from his heart.. How will Nandu's hope not win this...

In amidst of all this "hatred", he had forgotten that she was the only hope, the only strength that he had to fetch hi out of this pool of misery, hatred and darkness. He wanted her time all to himself. It tore him because she was supposed to be concentrating on winning their battle of "hope vs hatred". And so he stored out of the room, just as he had stormed in; without listening to her.

Perfectly said.. Perfect example of how time heals your wound.. How you realize the importance of person when he/she is no longer part of your life.. Maanik got that check today when he couldnt be there even when he wanted to be for nandini.. Nandini going away with Pandit to talk when all he wanted was to have her infront of his eyes to be sure she was ok... In past he has told Nandini so many times that she cant stay away from him.. But he had forgotten that he cant stay away from her either.. And thats what today was all about.. In your words - realization.. Realization that no matter what he belongs with her..

If only he could see that even in this so-called "hatred" of his, he demands all her attention, all her time to himself. if being angry with her, torturig her was his right then today he expressed that demanding her presence at every moment, even amidst all his anger and frustration, is also his right.But she knew exactly had to set things right. She had been hopeful that when she would reveal to him that she had infact fallen so he would catch her, he would melt. But it wasn't going to be that easy. His mind once again, manipulated his anger and he ended up saying what he wasn't meant to say. "Bulllshit! I would just let you fall. Instead I would be happy watching you fall". And then he fumed even more because she decided to just walk away. He fumed because he wanted her to convince him that no, he would catch her if there ever came a situation. He fumed because the whole day his heart had driven him crazy with his jealous emotions and their were questions he still needed answers to but instead he let her walk away. He fumed because she was supposed to be fighting a battle of hope for the both of them, but instead she seemed to be the last person to care. But little did he know that when just like a Nandini promise, a Nandini challenge is never forgotten either. And so she executed the game plan that her mind and heart had come up with together. She used her mind and dropped the bottle to make the floor wet, and she used her heart to trust blindly on her faith in him and stepped on the bottle. She wanted to fall for him, for herself, for them. She wanted to fall because she knew he had been disappointed just as much as her when he wasn't able to hold her in his arms. She wanted to fall for herself because she only ever wants to feel his presence, his touch and his hold in her life. She wanted to fall for them because every time she lands up in his arms, their heartbeats start to beat together reminding them that they are the reason for each others' existence.

We are on same page here.. Nandini was Maanik's Nandini today.. She knew exactly how to get that smile back.. She may not have realised how big a win she got today but today was bigger step than the one she took when she ate that ice-cream just because he let her know that he cant see her in pain.. She challenged him back today and successfully showed that he just cant help but hold her if she falls.. And he finding her antics cute :) And yes the smile she gave when she felt that victory after such a long time.. I was reminded of the smile and confidence when she had promised to tell him about what she thought of him on a day before musicana opening night... It was that nandini today.. The one who saw maanik for Maanik.. the caring one.. and not the one that bully people

yes the promo is really promising.. That should bring back the issues Manan are dealing in perspective.. Do they really want to fight or be together.. Would love to see how it all plays out and hope that once again Abhimanyu plays the catalyst to speedup their patchup...

And she telling him it was for him to catch her.. For him to realize her fake fall in hope of him catching her.. They truly have unique relationship... Now only if Maanik can let go of that fake hate he is so hell bent on embracing.. But surely not for long.. esp the way things seem to be favoring Nandu's Hope

And her hope wins again. That little tip toe moment to whisper that bit: Utter Cuteness Nandini Murthy was. And Manik believes it too cause he tells her: "don't try to act cute with me"..He means she is already so damn cute to him, she doesn't even have to try. lol. Nandini's continuous efforts is really making a difference, she seems to be clipping at his armour bit by bit. That's why he smiles a small smile after Nandini proudly announces that her hope won. And i keep saying it..no one believes me...There is no hope and hatred battle. Manik does not hate his shining star. So Hope wins. her hope, his hope..it's all one. Even for Manik because he says it in the precap: There is hope..of course there is ,boy.
My beautiful moment was actually Manik's smile in response to Nandini's point 1 for hope. He smiles that small smile like he agrees with her..like he is rooting for her hope to win all the way. And plus he has a beautiful smile..i am glad Nandini is finding ways to bring it back.

Pandit. I like this man. He is no-nonsense type of man, he sees through Nandu's fake fall. And best of all, he wants Nandini's music to flourish, doesn't want her goofing off. And he is giving Manik some real green-eyed moments..lol. My poor Manik.

I told you there was hope for Mutki. Abhi has really been a positive change in her life. Thou I am saddened that she loves a man who is on his deathbed, he taught her so much about life itself. Abhi is a smart man anyway...he is telling Nandini to stop wasting time playing games..life doesn't last forever, we waste too much not being with our loved ones..we lose them any moment. We should appreciate what a gift life is and be with the people we love. Let us hope Manan learn something for these two.

Oh I cannot not talk about my Cabs..Oh my heart broke for my boy today. This guy has a heart of gold..he is always, always and i mean always there for his friends but no one remembers his first day of work. He has every right to be upset and disappointed. I was sad for him.

Holi Promo...EEEPPSSS...Such sexiness. Dude, check out the cheek rubbing . Nandu doesn't like holi and it's our boy's favourite festival and he likes to play dirty. Oh..this gotta be fun. For sure. I don't know who will get drunk but i am kinda rooting for Nandu because she will shed all her inhibitions..she might even talk about the Soha death issue, why she had a moment of err and since Manik will be taking care of her, he is bound to be softened and more open to listening.
And look..Dhruv and Alya solving their problems physically..again *facepalm* and my Cabs sees.

Okies..i think i am done..let me tell you it was so hard gathering my thoughts not having your analysis there to guide me through.

Okies so time to post my part 1 of your response haha And dude please! Like you hardly need any of my thoughts to collaborate and express your own. I've already told you, you're a natural! So shh! :P

Alrighteyy so I'm just going to start with my Nandu's second fall again because it;s that one scene I really can't get enough of. Her cheekiness and teasing smile as she walks away from him after claiming her hope had just won was like the cherry on the cake. She had once again proved that she was his Nandini. The Nadnini who could be just as stubborn as him, just as daring as him and just as fearless as him. Her buoyancy just made her seem so much more cuter and that's when he melted. She had healed a part of him again today and he had finally smiled. Smiled for her. She had just put an end to his day-long misery of not having had the chance to hold her, to feel just how real this girl was. As I said in my response, she fell the second time more for him than herself. Of course she wanted to put an end to her craving of feeling his and only his arms around her, but she also wanted him to experience that this hope that he keeps referring to as hers, was also his hope. She wanted him to feel the magical moment of having their heart beat as one. You know that smile that spread on his face upon seeing her win, I myself smiled really wide on that. He just portrayed a character similar to that of a little kid who had been upset the whole day because he didn't get the attention he had been yearning the whole day. But she made him realise that she could fall again and again for him if the need be, just so he could feel his importance in her life. The smile on his face may have been just a little and controlled one, but inside his heart was fluttering flying with joy. She wanted him around her just as much as he wanted her and boy did that make my Manik feel as if he was on top of the world.

I have to agree with you on the panditji. I'm really liking the way he's character is being shaped with every passing episode. I feel his mentoring will not only teach Nandini and Manik how to respect their music, but it will also teach them how to respect each other and the relationship they share. Now I just hope that CV's don't bring in an unexpected dhamaka where this panditji's intentions and character takes a u-turn lol

Man the fearless and truthful Nandini is truly admirable. The way she openly confesses to him that she had faked her fainting just so he would catch her, reminds us why these two are meant to be together. If he's stubborn to distant himself from her, she's the definition of stubborn. She will fight with him, for him till her last breath. She proved today that even in the future she will never hesitate to speak the truth to him. She will never hide her true feelings from him. She will always speak her life's biggest truth that she loves him unconditionally.

I believe you!!! Hahah... there isn't even any room for hope in this battle. Because long gone are those days where they would hope that they both felt the same for each other. Long gone are those days when they were unsure of whether their love would be strong enough to fight every obstacle that came there way. The Manan that stand in front of us today are only capable of experiencing love and just true love. And not long to go are those days when they will stand hand in hand with absolute confidence that nothing is possible in this world if they are together. They will stand in assurance that no matter how many times they fight or how many misunderstandings they experience, it will never weaken their bond, rather it will only become stronger. Not long to go is that moment when they will discover the exact definition of love. Where for Manik, love would be Nandini and for Nandini, love would be Manik.

Dude I can't wait for Holi episode to come already! And like I don't get it... where are Dhruliya heading exactly? Like let's compare their kiss and and Manan's cheeck rub and like Manan are on a whole new level of passion. You discussed Navya and Cabs relationship and i missed it altogether. So let's pick up from there. We have spoken about the similarities of the hardships Cavya have faced in their short life and they have matured far too soon. And Navya's mother abandoning her child in the time of need will further cement their relationship. Cabs believes that he placed that call because he hates babies..he doesn't want to be the one to care for Navya but in reality, he cares for her very much and doesn't want her to go through the same life of living like a orphan despite having a mother. Their friendship will really blossom and somewhere i feel like he will get the affection and attention he is not getting from his friends nowadays..like i said my heart broke for my Cabs today when no one remembered his first day of work..Navya will be that friend who will bring him yogurt for good luck. I predict good times with these two..hilarious good times..lol

The return of Manik's smile was my beautiful moment for today..and how I wished the same..i wish Nandini could have seen the fruit of her labours..She is truly working hard to bring back that smile..her cute antics were adorable, Manik thinks so too..but he just won't say it cause he is consumed with the green-eyed monster. How dare the Pandit do this job ? How dare he catch his girl ? Put his hands where only Manik's arms belong ? Oh our Manik was so frustrated today. He tries so hard that his heart doesn't give a damn but he just can't 'live without her' ! Great work with breaking down Manik's inner turmoil for today. The poor lad had a hard day. Between Nandu and Pandit, he might as well lose his mind..haha.
Nandu really was a star today...loved the line where you mentioned that her mind and heart work together to defeat Manik's mind and forever win his heart..lovely thought.

You know next time i will just wait patiently for your analysis cause firstly it's written beautifully and it really just gathers my thoughts and helps me shape a somewhat coherent response...I bolded all the lines i especially loved.

Hahah so I'm going to keep this one short and sweet because I kind of over-talked in my last response and now I don't want to be repeating myself lol

I actually in a way like it how we mentioned and talked about different points because then when we put our essays together, we actually get the complete analysis of Manan. It's sort of like completing each other's thought and me likes it.

Yup I completely agree with you here that the bond of Cavya that is blooming into a rather fine friendship is something that gives me a sense of relief especially because of Cabir. I don't know I just have a soft corner for him because of his selfless and such lively personality. I've always ever seen him give and spread happiness and love and my heart weeps seeing him being neglected amid all these other life hassles that the others are facing. He is trying his level best to sort out everyone's problems and in return all he hoped for was a goodluck hug. But I know for sure that with Navya around, his need of a true friend, a true companion will be fulfilled. He will also have that someone out of their Fab 5 family with whom he can share his happiness and sorrows with.

ahaha our poor manik really had to sweat it out hard today to try and figure out what was going wrong with him. I'm glad though that he's starting to doubt himself. Starting to doubt his feelings of "hatred". He seems to have finally started to trust Nandini a tad more than himself. Just a tad more :P And hence he will confess himself today that "there is still hope".

Hmmm let's see what emotions are portrayed in tonight's episode!
