Hola my girl..well Monday is finally here. Today's episode was a good set up episode for the rest of the week. The jealously has apparently kick started. And may god save Manik and the viewers...i am so ready :P
I gotta admit, the mind had a strong finish today not that the heart wasn't there putting a strong fight as well but let us explore today's scenes.I absolutely loved how Manan came to the same place: their meeting place, their staircase for solitude It's their place of memories, of their budding love, a place of happier times. In past when they were coming together, they met on the same side of the staircase. Today they met with on opposite sides, with the railing in between. While they are walking separately, there are still so strongly bonded. Their bodies still touch through the barrier of the railing. Very soon, they will be once again of the same side of the staircase.
He claims he can't live with her but makes a bigger declaration: He can't live without her. This is the biggest truth of his life, it even trumps his love realisation. because love may change, we can learn not to love someone but the need for a person to survive, that's lifelong. He can't live without her: the heart contradicts his mind that so confidently says: I can't live you claims Manik Maltorta, so he doesn't need his light to survive. Oh the struggle is so real. The way he clenches his fists, it's not in anger. It's in constraint because he is dying to touch her, to pull her into his arms..to give his damn heart some much neededrelief. The tug of Nandini's arms, the pull. the push he does so often nowadays speaks of his struggle. He needs her close but he can't, he can't let her close because they are at battle now. His hatred and her hope. Oh my hopeless babies. I already said that there is no hate. There is no hate for Manik baba. Hate is such a strong emotion and because there is a fine line between love and hate, I believe you can only feel one or other at a time.. and honestly it's so hard to come back from hate. To relearn to love someone after you hate them: doesn't happen often in life and that's the truth. he is only capable of feeling love for this girl. She is his shining star after all. she is still fighting the darkness for him. She is still fighting for that smile of his she loves.
And even today, he guides her. Music is his reason for smiling. Nope Manik, nandini is your reason for smiling but no worries, i let you get away with this one. Music soothes him, heals him and when does Manik make his best music ? Well, he does it with his lucky charm. Like you had said in a post: she is the lyrics to his music. There is hope if there are able to sing together after 10 days. Well good job boy, give your girl all you can. Tell her to fight to be his music again.
Another very significant scene for me today was Manik simply telling Fab 4 that he is going solo to perform with Nandu for the fusion concert. Once again, Nandini takes priority over Fab 5. Manik is done playing mother hen to these 4. While he will still be there when they need him, he has other priorities, along the lines of making a certain someone 'suffer'. It's sad how his friends believe that he will mess with his music just to mess with Nandini. Manik respects his music far too much to use it a weapon in their battle. Mukti says: isn't he taking it too far with Nandini ? and he replies honestly: He is gone too far with Nandini. Truer words have never been spoken. Yes, he is gone too far, too far in love with her to ever walk away ( please note, even today Nandu walks away both times. I told you, my MM doesn't do the walking away in their relationship..lol) Only my Cabs knows the magnitude of their love and he is always freaking honest. Love this statement: if Nandini is around, Manik is bound to be close..lol.
Oh oh..i almost forgot to talk about face value scene. Manik is forever helping his girl, no, not by giving her water but teaching her another lesson. He knows she is still innocent, still too naive so he decides to teach her a lesson and get some payback ( yeah, he still remembers that she cut his guitar strap) Manik says don't take everything at face value, don't believe everything someone says. He is referringto their earlier conversations.A part of him is hurt that she still trusts him so that she believes that he means it when he says he will make her suffer.( just like at musicana time: he asked himself: How could she just believe me ? How could she believe that he meant to hurt her ?) He has mocking,sarcastic way of himself where he coats the turth as underlayer and tends to be sarcastic most of the time just like he sarcastically mocks her and her hope near the end of the episode. nandini is only human too, while she uses sees through him most of the time, past his smug, badass persona; once a while she doesn't read him as well. But the water prank is gonna come back to haunt him when someone else catches his girl. He promised once: I will always catch you when you fall and now he won't. Let that burn a little Manik, it's meant to.
I also quite like the budding friendship between Mukti and Navs. friendship equations are changing and i am glad Fab 5 are finding friendship outside their group. New people, new friendships, they expand our horizons, give us new perception. So Navya is good support for Mukti's character and plus Abhi has brought a huge change in her life. Life suddenly becomes much more clear when you are falling in love with a person who is on limited time ( imagine that: limited time to love someone, so utterly devasting) and i am still baffled at her immaturity tounderstand Manan's love for each other but i got hope for the girl. It's Alya i have no hope for..lol.
Okies, i think i am done. Awesomely written as always my love. You the star :D
Edited: wait wait, hold the reply train please ! even thou you aren't replying yet..lol. Reya forgot her beautiful moment. I always have one. Will guess mine ? It's when he tells; " i can't live without you !" how he tries so desperately but he can't stay away from her. Oh all that love laced with pain,frustrationand agony. Okies so let's continue the tradition of replies haha

Alrightey so you can see I used two two colours today. So the purple highlights the phrases which actually involuntarily made me laugh. The way you just phrased your thoughts there was too good. And the best thing about all of these phrases is despite their laughter-ability, they were still so true. haha

I want to start from talking about the face value scene actually, because clearly nothing was mentioned of that scene on my behalf. (See good job partner, you noticing and completing the other half of my analysis haha). That scene could have been just taken into so many references. Not taking anything he says on face value was the prime focus of that scene, but to some extent I feel he went back in time to when Nyonika manipulated the truth and opted for the mask of being a caring and loyal mother. Wasn't it then that Nandini was unable to see behind that facade too and take her for face value? His wound bled again yesterday, but he put on that ever-so sexy, yet evil grin of his and didn't bring up the pain of old wounds. He couldn't see her in tears again. He couldn't see her confidence wavering again. How would he be able to stop her if she herself decided to leave him this time? He couldn't afford to take the risk. Hence, he indirectly made it seem like that he was referring to the conversations and confrontations they've had throughout the day. Honestly, I feel that he was trying to cover up for his heart's actions in the previous scene. He wanted to mask his statement that he couldn't live without her and he was hoping that she would believe him when he said to not take him on face value. To not believe him. But as I mentioned before. Manik baby, the beautiful blunder has already been done. The mistake of pouring your heart out to your lady love.

That staircase scene was a purely Manan's time to spend quality time together and for that reason I guess I spent the most time analysing it lol. Because when Manik's face and eyes start doing more talking than his lips, we know his heart has overtaken the mind completely. I just seem to never get enough of the restless mood of his when he is trying very hard to restrain himself from pulling her into him. That fight seems so much more real, so much more believable and I absolutely lose track of myself in those moments.I That scene was just awe-worthy when he realises that there is a railing between them and he doesn't know how to get rid of it. He wanted to just push it out of the way or rip it out of the ground so nothing could stop him from feeling her against him, He wanted to run down the stairs and run back up on the other side where she was standing but he didn't have that much patience so he just tugged her right there, at that moment, pretending that no railing existed there at all.

He replied to her; that music will makes him smile but how rightly you pointed out that he's in fact in denial. I mean after all, he thought about it for a whole night and again wrapped the words of truth in a paper of false testimony and then gifted it to her. He only told her half the truth. He didn't tell her that she in fact is the music that resides in him. Nandini is the biggest truth of his life, the sole song of his entire music existence. She is his inspiration to sing, emote and play. She is his focus that motivates him to bring out the best in him. Nandini is another name for his music. And I'm actually so so so happy that they'll be practicing and performing together. The fact he says that IF they survive by the end of this concert, then only there is hope... it's all a lie. Again he wanted to give her an excuse for the hope he's given her. He wanted to make it more difficult for her because the mind scolded him for letting him giver her hope of togetherness. He wanted her to take her steps back. But she wasn't falling in this trap again. She knew he had hope himself for which reason he confessed there is hope.

Manik's revelation to the fab 4 about the fusion concert was a rather pleasant surprise. For a second you could see the hesitation in his voice, the guilt of leaving his family behind. But this change I feel was necessary. It's about time my Manik thinks for himself. Thinks about his happiness, thinks about his sorrows, thinks about his life. He has only sacrificed time after time and my heart still weeps for him at times. He didn't deserve the dark and misery-filled life he's lived all his life. He didn't deserve to have to mask his pain behind his "monster Manik" persona just because he had no one to share his pain with. But not anymore! Now it's his time to sing for himself, live for himself an love for himself. At the same time I really hope this fusion concert doesn't take a transitional turn onto the road of Fab5 separation. No matter how they all me be individually and despite how their negativities and positivities as an individual, I've always admired the bond that Fab 5 have shared.they found solace in each other's presence, they discovered a family in each other's affection and care. So as much as I want Manik and Nandini to tread on their music journey together, I don't want having to see Fab 5 break. Because we all know it, my Manik baby will suffer the most. He was, are and always be the family he never had. Yes Nandini is his life but they are family that makes his life complete.

Dude I have like no idea where Dhruliya are heading. Or are the CV's trying to contrast the maturity of Manan's relationship as compared the more common type of relationships that exist in today's world. Me so confused. And I've got to admit that last line you said about Aliya made me laugh the most hahaha

I'm actually excited to see what unfolds with tmrw's episode. Not so much for the jealousy track but I know Manik's emotions will peak tomorrow. I'm excited to watch Parth portray the role of a jealous Manik because we both know we have that soft corner for that angry, intense and passionate Manik that awakes when Nandini starts to drive him crazy.

Okay so like a MASSIVE WARNING: Beware of grammar/ spelling mistakes because this last few paragraphs were written via phone. Lol!

haha..glad i made you intentionally or unintentionally but i told you..this smiling/laughing business really good for the life..we humans just need to make an effort.

The face value was really symbolic in the aspect that it would be taken in different directions..though i feel all along he is trying to teach her to analytic in life...to observe..to absorb..to evulate before she does anything. Technically she should have questioned his niceness and not taken water from him so easily but then again...she does still trust him. It was a interesting scene nonetheless and room for interpretations.

We gonna talk about Fab 5 now..like the points you brought up such as that you don't want Fab 5 breaking up and i am with you on that. I feel as thou even if Manik's priorties have changed in life...it doesn't mean he doesn't love his family..or his family might not love him. Fab 5 are not just friends..they are each other's family..and they have been each other's support for years now..as flawed as they might be individually...together they are simply fab 5 and they will be one when needed. But falling in love, being with other people will teach them to better individuals...like i said...new people..they add to our perspectives..give us new knowledge..new experiences..so Manik with Nandini and Mukti with Abhi and Navs..and Cabs and Navs..these relationships will add to the dimenison of fab 5. Fab 5 can't break...they are a family..there may be clashes or differences but there is also love.

Dhruv/Alya,: never been much of my likeable characteres..i mean i felt friendship worked so much better for now...now they are in a rocky place...they seem to solve problems physically..Ahmen...i recommend talking it out people ! and for the love of fudge saue woman..stop with the weird anniversaries..lol..100 days to a kiss, who remembers that ? oh yeah, alya does *faceplam*

He tried his best to set that hope ablaze with his anger, aggression and so-called "hatred", but she knew he was hiding again. Hiding behind that mask which was full of tears, rips, breaks and holes. The tighter he tried to grab onto the mask, the more it tore and the easier it became for her to see right through him. Oh just how innocently my Manik tries to portray his anger again in order to convince her that there is a better chance of him not being able to live with her than without her. How hard he tries to struggle with his heart because he wants her to try and believe, he wants her to believe that he's capable of being a monster, he's capable of hating her, and he's capable of maintaining his distance.

On bold line... I thought he going and sitting on the other side of railing was his attempt to keep the distance... He struggles through that too but atleast he has safety of pulling back... Kind of reminder to keep his mind in charge... I would say today his mind was totally overpowering his heart but heart didnt loose without fight.. With Nandini coming to a place where once they joined hands to become partners, had their many memories... He followed her their.. It was unanimous decision by both heart and mind.. Heart wanted just glimpse of her while mind had to gloat on getting into the class that nandini thought he would not... When Nandini told her that she knows he is joining concert for his hatred towards her, thats when real fight started.. His mind was glad that she believed it... But his heart was angry and was expecting her to see through this pretense.. As you said, I cant live with you and i cant live without you - Just two lines... But those were the gist of his struggle.. Till he said he couldnt live without her his mind was doing perfectly well... But as soon as he saw her with those hopeful eyes, and the precious smile his heart devours, his heart was resurrected to fought harder.. He gave her possibility of being together if she can tolerate him through this concert preparation.. Well we all knew that but that was just huge moral boost for Nandini and she didnt let that go in vain.. When his mind made came back reminding her that he is going to make it impossible to get through the concert she gave it back.. She was ready to fight with new vigor..

Yes she had that confidence when she came to college today but it was shaken when he returned back as monster ready to torture her as her partner for the concert.. When i think this scene in the light of the last statement of the episode where maanik tells her not to take him on face value, i feel like he is hinting that dont believe him when he says he is here to hate her, torture her.. Yes he will make life impossible but he expects her to believe that he wants her hope to succeed..

Him relying on hate is his way of fighting for them.. And as you said, she trusts him... Has faith in him.. Just think about the precap.. She is falling and she knows he is going to catch her... (Its different story he is too late to actually catch her :D) Thats her side of the story.. Both represent their love, just two sides of coin...

I liked how he keeps murmuring to himself when she says pandit is right.. Just start of this jealousy track.. You know i like this kind of track because it isnt creeping from romantic feelings from Panditji.. I am strongly against pandit having romatinc feelings for nandini.. But this is all teacher student.. Nandini being the studious well mannered girl how can she not be favourite student to any teacher.. Now panditji also has some amps connection so that adds to the spice.. Todays manik jealousy was more about his frustration of him not being good enough for her.. I am sure he would always feel less compared to righteous nandini and he has the recent court room statement to go along.. So the wounds are still fresh.. It has to hurt...

isnt it awesome that by giving her water both his heart and mind won :) Heart couldnt see her struggling so much and mind couldnt let go the opportunity to let her down infront of panditji who takes her as ideal student.. It was perfect plan... For girl like Nandu who is always in good books with teacher, whom teacher has never scolded, it is humiliating.. It is most effective torture i guess.. In the end he warned her to not take him on face value and her winning chances look blick.. But tomorrow's episode would help him get off his high horse and take step back on his torture level..

Btw did you watch the Holi promo.. The online links have very bad audio quality but the video itself Holi would be time to lock the mind in some storage and wear heart on sleeve... looking fwd to it..

and ur analysis is so right...
i totally agree with ur words...its like when he was saying to hr "i hate u, i do" ...it was like he wasnt telling nandini that but rather himself as if he was trying so hard to actually mke her believe that he hates her...ha..ha... it was kind of funny n she knows that...
but my fav scene was the changing room scene when he showed him her tee n told her dat this must be mine then...

Awww thankyou lovely for such kind words! You're absolutely correct. The way he looked into her eyes and says "I can't live with you, no"... The way he says the "no" at the end of the sentence was so he can make himself believe that he actually can't live with her. How so very wrong he is. His struggle with himself is just so beautiful though.
Omg I know right! His eyes are like a deep ocean of emotions an I drown in them every single episode. Haha :P

The face value was really symbolic in the aspect that it would be taken in different directions..though i feel all along he is trying to teach her to analytic in life...to observe..to absorb..to evulate before she does anything. We gonna talk about Fab 5 now..like the points you brought up such as that you don't want Fab 5 breaking up and i am with you on that. I feel as thou even if Manik's priorties have changed in life...it doesn't mean he doesn't love his family..or his family might not love him. Fab 5 are not just friends..they are each other's family..and they have been each other's support for years now..as flawed as they might be individually...together they are simply fab 5 and they will be one when needed. But falling in love, being with other people will teach them to better individuals...like i said...new people..they add to our perspectives..give us new knowledge..new experiences..so Manik with Nandini and Mukti with Abhi and Navs..and Cabs and Navs..these relationships will add to the dimenison of fab 5. Fab 5 can't break...they are a family..there may be clashes or differences but there is also love.

Dhruv/Alya,: never been much of my likeable characteres..i mean i felt friendship worked so much better for now...now they are in a rocky place...they seem to solve problems physically..Ahmen...i recommend talking it out people ! and for the love of fudge saue woman..stop with the weird anniversaries..lol..100 days to a kiss, who remembers that ? oh yeah, alya does *faceplam*

That's definitely true... the face value scene can be depicted in so many different ways. Our manik is so complicated himself that it's difficult to exactly pin point as to which conversation or memory he was referring to when saying things like such ahah But I guess the fact he's a riddle in himself makes it just that much more exciting to watch him and we fall for his flawless and flaw-full perfection time after time.

Hmmm... I really hope that what you're saying in terms of the Fab 5 never falling apart actually stays true because their understanding and unique bond is what makes them so inspirational and the unbreakable family that they've always been. In the near future, I would like to see them bond however like they used to once upon a time. Where nothing was hidden from any of them and they spent the time together to share each others' happiness and sorrows. And who knows, this time these bonding sessions may even have some new additions; ie Navya and Nandini; the way it was always supposed to be.

LOOOL that 100 day kiss anniversary was such an epic scene. Like I mean Aliya needs to grow up a little. I felt she did do wrong on her part that she didn't give Dhruv the right to experience the excitement of being open about a relationship, she didn't give him the right to be a protective boyfriend who would spoil her and to whom he would express his love to in front of everyone. Manik had once said to Dhruv that whenever he would fall in love it would be like magic and it would be a passionate love story but seriously their story just seems more like an erotic novel atm with nothing but a portrayal of a physical relationship. A massive facepalm seriously.
