Part 1
"Nandini, yeh kaisa hai yeh red color na tum he irresistible banaega and he will go down literally in his knees seeing you in this!"
Navya replied rummaging through Nandini's closet. Nandini's room was a sight to see as it looked as though a hurricane had recently struck it with half of her along with Navya's clothes lay out in the floor. Navya had been repeating the same above line for the past 3 hours as she chose a dress for her and then after sometime rejected it calling it not "alluring" enough. "You have to look out of the world Nandu you have to be sight which makes him gaga for you na. Help me out what do you think which should you wear." Hearing Her bff ask her for her opinion Nandu came out of her bored state she looked around through her once room searching for her sort of clothing among the "piles of what she thought were clothes". She shrugged her shoulders and sort of raised her hands as though to indicate she had surrendered to her choice. "Uff tum bhi na chalo chodo mein hai choice karungi after all aaj tum hari life ka sabse special and important day hain na! Don't worry main kuch kar ti hoon..."
Muttering to herself she went out of the room. But Navya was right this day was no ordinary day... She today was supposed to go on a date with the youngest singing sensation and one of the most eligible bachelor the rockstar Manik Malhotra who by some twist of fate was also her husband to be. Nandu had a lot of hope from this day as she wanted to remove the not so perfect first meeting xperience out of both their mind through this date. Yup you heard it Nandini Moorthy was spending a day out with the hottest hunk of the music world. First when he asked her out Nandu literally died out of shock but she then thought he wanted to take up their relation in a better path as after of about 3 weeks they were to tie the knot for like her Chachi says seven jaanams. With his "contract" deal this relation had taken a rocky start but maybe this evening could shade a new light on it. She knew that their chances of falling in love were almost neil nada zip but they could maybe be good enough friends for a better married life. But one thing did strike her mind could a charmer heartthrob and a simple small town girl could ever be perfect two... (I think Nandu here forgot the magnetism property... Unlike poles attract)
A loud banging followed by Navya entering the room shocked Nandini out of musing as Navya entered the room with a plastic bag in hand.
"wow navya online shopping ki delivery itni jaldi hoti hai kya?
"Nahi nandu budu... Who kya hain na maine na apni ek fb ki frein hai na woh hi Salma! Maine na usse kaha ta ki aaj koi special occasion hai na toh usse nai tum hare liye ek dress send kiya hai."
Nandini hid her head inside her arms and replied, "Nahi Navya tum ne usse meri aur Manik kr baare main bata diya!!!"
"nahi re Nandu maine sirf itna hai kaha ki aaj meri ek special fren ki special nite hai and that I need a sexy, alluring and breath taking sort of dress.. So, she send it to me ab dekh te hain Salma ka choice kaisa hain!!!"
She took out a short res dress out of the bag. The colour was a beautiful white. But Nandu gasped her breath as she noticed the length of the dress. She stood up and took the dress and measured it in her body. A horrified expressions donned her face as she realized that the dress just reached the middle of her thighs.
"Navya..."
"Perfect hain the color brings out your fair complexion and the fitting brings out the curve of your body and your perfect hourglass figure. So you its finalized tum yahi panogi I must say Salma ne aap ni life main kuch toh sahi kaam kiya main ab se yuski rahek fb pics main lyk karungi!"
"paar navya who sab toh thik hai par main itni chotti dress kaise pahen sakti hoon. Tum hai pata hain main itne chotti dress nahi pehen ti."
"Nandu nandu yah dress itni chotti bhi nahi haaye aur Manik jiju kohi stranger nahi tum hare hone wala patti hai toh kisse sarmaana aur chup chap yeh dress pehno warna tumshe hamari bol chaal bad hai samjhi!! Waise bhi Manik jiju ko choti dress dekhne ki aadat hoga ab jaldi karo tumhe tyaar karne ke liye we have less than 3 hrs Manik jiju ne kaha tha he will pick you up at 7 aur its already 4:45 jaldi karna padega!"
Manik's P.O.V (Outside Nandu's gate at 7 pm)
Standing outside the Moorty residence Manik stared at the door not being able to open it. He himself did not why he felt so much fear in this date. He had dated many girls but no other had the power make him get pre date jitters. He had never ever planned to take Nandini on a date and could have never ever done so if "she" had not insisted so loudly and cutely. She had told him very specifically that everything had to be perfect. And she had made sure everything was that way. She had kept on repeating that everything had to go according to the plan about which he was not informed and like many times he had no idea what was going on the sweet devilish mind of hers but as always he had surrendered himself to her and had not made any protest until she had forced him to wear the white suit with black tie. But as always she had brushed of his protest with her puppy eyes and cute pout.
"yaad hain na Manik you have to be sweet today and please don't ruin my hard work. Chahe jo karo par aaj ka date bilkul supeb hoina chahiye warna yaad hain na mera capital punishment."
How could he forget her capital punishment the one which involved baat chit baad between them for forever. And her forever lasted until he could find some new and unique way to win her back.
A sudden jerk of the door brought him out of thoughts and a smiling face of Nandini's Chachi greeted him.
"Oho beta tum yaha par kitni waqt se khade ho. Bell baja na chahiye ta na Beta... Chalo chodo andaar aao. Nandu tyaar ho rahi hai. Aur beta aaj na tum bilkul wo kya kehte hain dasing lag rahe hoon."
Hearing the word dashing' Manik got a smile in his face and thought that one Moothy was down now 3 to go.
"Thank you kya aap ko Chachi bola sakta hoon. Mrs. Moorthy and all to kya old lagta hai. Aap toh abhi jaawan hain na.."
"jaroor beta main tum hari Chachi hi hoon. Nandu ki Chachi aap ki bhi Chachi na."
Hearing Manik address her as "jaawan" she blushed crimson red. At the same time he heard some noise in the staircase in front of him and he saw her.
To Nandini
Navya had been working tirelessly for the past 3 hours dusting her completely with makeup. Navya had made her auburn straight hair shiny and made it fall elegantly in waves in the end. She had forced her to wear that handkerchief size dress but whwn it came to make up Nandu put her foot down and Navya was only allowed some touch ups. Navya handed her a red clutch and took a deep breath and stood back to admire her 2 hr hardwork.
"dekho kaise lag rahi hoon."
Navya handed her the mirror and the reflection in it took her breath away. She saw an irritated sort of girl who was busy pulling her dress down. But the girl could be Nandini Moorthy as the whole face of the girl was perfect from the eye liner dabbed eyes to the glossy lips everything was perfect ( bt Nandu baby waise bhi tum Manik ko toh hamesha pefect hi lagti hoon sparkling and shiny rite).
"Dekho Nandini meraa judoo kitne hot lag rahi ho..."
When they heard a sudden opening of the door and Navya ushered her out with hurried "he is here."
