I do believe in what Nandini has said. Its an individual choice.

I don't think we should attach as something right or wrong with pre-marital sex. Sex is natural. I do agree that pre-marital sex is being looked down upon in our country. And even when I was in my school I used to think along the same lines. But while growing up these social conventions seemed to make less & less sense to me. Personally I have no aversion to it if I can trust my man. Being from India I can say that pre-marital sex is not uncommon although it is looked down upon. At this stage some 35-40% of my classmates does indulge in it. Many of us know about it & none of us morally judge them. Its just that people like Navya should know about the precautions.

I dont support at all... marriage is a sacred relation between 2 individuals and sex is a show of love between husband and wife..not only is pre marital physical relation a sin in every religion as far as i know, but also imagine if people do it before marriage and end up pregnant and alone like navya.. and also im sure everyone wants their spouse to be pure and virgin, and there is no guarantee the guy or girl a person is dating currently will marry them..so if they do it but marry someone else, then its not fair to the one they are marrying as the relation is not pure and innocent...not a fresh start with someone we are planning to spend our whole life with. if a person wants their spouse to be pure, they themselves must refrain from pre marital physical relations so that it also wont affect their marriage life. however with new generation, more teens in india are involving in them...this is usually i think due to media too...bollywood is mostly showing all this only...but we as indians must respect our strong culture, roots and traditions which we value greatly

I don't judge. Like its not my prerogative to say whether its right or wrong.

The truth of the matter is that it happens a lot in India too and people behave like it doesn't.

I believe in sex education, so that people like Navya don't find themselves pregnant and alone at 18.

By shoving the topic under the mattress and not talking to kids about sex education, we leave our children vulnerable.

I second that

Call me old fashioned but no, no I don't support it. But I certainly don't judge someone who does. To each his/her own.

I do i have been supporting it for many years.i believe in sexual education.i believe that people should know and understand it.if we keep swapping it under the rag we wont get anything.but our country is well our country if anyone even utters the word sex people look at them as if they have grown a extra head.which is very annoying.i mean why sex is not a bad thing.and we need to understand it.ok lets say we dont talk about sex.what will happen we will get more navya's and rape victims.i mean as far as i see she doesnt have enough education on it.hell she understood homosexualty by watching a movie.and what was the result she had sex and got about to have a baby.and 90% of rape victims are victims today from the lack of sexual education. when this happens i feel like shouting at the top of my voice.i also know many people will not agree with me.but it happens not only in net but also in real life.cause i have noticed when ever me and my friends talk about sex.we get strange glares.but i am ok with it.cause change in not easy.and sometimes the view of bunch of 14 year old it enough to even start the change.and i fully support nandini.she deserves a gold medal for it.proud of ky2.

what you said is absolute truth...

but one thing, how is rape related to sex education??? I mean even if a girl has sex education she might get raped...😕

It is so nice to see my fellow Indians comments on this topic and that in itself is a big awakening for us. I loved your posts AnomanderRake and Charminggenie.
It is an individual matter..pre-marital sex or not. And we are no one to judge. The most important thing is to educate our children and that is what this track is hoping to do. Most times parents don't like to talk to thei kids about it. whether it is about sex or dependency on drugs or your sexuality. , all these are so prominent in our culture in the present times that educating everyone, kids and adults, is very important.
