I truly, truly hope she does all that you mentioned and gain some strength, show us what a girl can really do. Navya really does scream 'girl power' if only she utilizes it.

I be a secret Navya fan, don't tell anyone xD

SUHAAA ILOVESYOUTOO <33

Navya is definitely not a typical character. Navya has importance. Yes she's been really foolish but she's been portraying the character of a girl who connects with many and now she's suffering. i believe this to be such a crucial point in her life and want it to be treated with the delicacy it requires. because if done right it'll be a great great message for many girls!
HAHAHA YO NAVYA!🤣

I am totally rooting for Navya to drown Harshad in a pool of cat-vomit. That's what the guy deserves and that's the redemption Navya's character needs.

Sorry for being so flippant about this Rida, but Navya's lack of growth just irks me terribly. I really need to see something major from her, a decision she makes on her own, for herself, in order to even start thinking about her again. Right now she just doesn't exist for me.

Your words are very touching but in real life it isn't easier said then done. Teen pregnancy is a very sensitive topic, people either approve it or they don't, but regardless, the suffering that one goes through is very difficult to explain.. I have always believe that children should not be having children.
..

Now coming back to your post about Navya, it's really a decision she must make for her self if she wants to keep this baby or not.. Lets see how the CV really handles this situation..

that is the thing. It is such an ugly reality in real life. Teen pregnancy is never received positively, not in our society anyway. Teen pregnancy is not easy either. It's a huge huge responsibility. Same. I don't believe children should be having children, either because most of the time that's not fair to those children who are born. It's never their fault. They deserve everything the other children do but are most often deprived.

And this is why, because Navya depicts these girls lives and what they go through, i don't want her to just describe their plight but give them a very strong and positive message! To give them optimism and teach them.

Thank you for making this hard hitting post. This is so needed...and so apt!! Most found her annoying, irritating and a fool...I on the contrary loved her character from day one coz she was the most real one of all. Yes, sad to say but in our country, we have two totally different bipolar cultures. The urban one that is pretty much international standard and the other one is the small town, zero exposure, limited culture...which we tend to forget is the majority in our land. Navya represents the vast majority here. She is essentially a symbol of nativity, she represents the roots. While she grated on some nerves due to her small town village simpleton and yokel ways, some found her blind devotion to her Harshadji intolerable. Yet we just cannot ignore the fact that we have more Navyas around us than Nandinis or Muktis or Aliyas.
And as they have given us such a real female character, its high time they give her a strong message too. It's time they finally give Navya a brain and a backbone. She needs to be a path breaker, a trend setter. She can be an example for the simple girls out there. Cvs handled the sensitive homosexual topic with a lot of maturity, heres hoping that they handle this pregnancy and Navys' subsequent growth and progress carefully too. Lets not forget that there are thousands of impressionable minds out there, that are absorbing every blink, every gesture and thought..so its high time Navya's character finally comes of age and makes a big difference in societal attitudes and teenage behavior patterns.

I totally support your thoughts. Navya represents many girls of our country or any country for that matter who dreams of the perfect world where they will have a caring partner, loads of love and a happy family to complete the picture, but many a times there world comes crashing down when their dreams are turned into cruel realities by some abominable people in their lives. However, these girls should emerge strong and face their problems in a way that they can send a message to others that they are not weak and can face such situations with a strong might.

I TOTALLY AGREE! HE DESERVES IT! And I completely understand you too cos navya really has been not living upto any of our expectations. Every time we wish for something she disappoints us, but i also find, that she's simply describing a lot of girls of our world and doing it rightly so. Thus far, i've accepted it, understood, but there's a limit too. She really needs to give all those girls a very strong message. she needs to give them guidance and hope and by moping and moaning she'd never achieve it.She really needs to something major and stand on her feet. Be proud of being a girl. Don't let her mistakes define her.

@Rida - I am clearly over her, she has no redeeming quality , nothing no trait , no virtue. Her problems seem to be more about the individual her than the small town/big city drama.
She was smart enough to use gps to reach her destination but her wanting and obsession with certain things like Harshadji, fab5 kind of make her similar to Soha too na? Smart girls who are suffering because of their own choices than the environment.

Thankyou so much for agreeing <3
Exactly. there are so so many girls out there like her and i hope she gives them a strong message. one mistake doesn't define your whole life. your actions do.

Rida,I was trying to be patient with her and honestly I tried. Because I've seen some " Navyas" and I understand their dilemma. But what really tipped the balance against her was how she dealt with Nandu. When Nandu needed her the most she bailed. Whatever she has going on with Harshad could have been discussed objectively if she had been a better friend.
Also Rida forgot to mention elsewhere your 100 epi VM was so good, made hubby watch and he asked me is this a " trailer " . Trust me that's a fab compliment.

HAHA genie im not exactly over her. Is she frustrating me? Yes, she is because i want her to stand up and if she keeps on being like this i toh anyway would give up on her. im not her fan. but i underatand her character because she definitely does represent a lot of girls out there. It's always harsh when girls find maturity in ways like these and teen pregnancy is a very sensitive topic.Nobody's mistakes define their whole life, right? Her obsession with Harshad was born out of her delusions. and it was even before harshad came. she has always been a girl of dreams and fantasies and illusions. her beliefs that she'll be fab5's member, her illusions about always being the star and making it big. The fact is that so many girls dream of this man and it doesn't takes much to trap them. Harshad plotted it well and she was trapped. Now regardless of who she is i don't want her to stand up because i love her but i want her to do it so she gives out a very strong message tbh. if she doesn't then what will be the point of it? to disappoint all those girls? give them hope and guidance.
