She represents the other, the contrasting side of the same story. Every girl has this prince charming dream, somewhere, somehow, most girls, romanticize the notion of a soulmate. They dream of it. They all want that one guy who's perfect. And this is the stark contrast between her and Nandini.
Where, Nandini found her hero in a monster, Navya found her hero was somehow a monster. It showed that sometimes, girls, in their naivety trust the wrong people. That the fairytales we've always imagined, they're not true and they simply fool us. You can say that she was foolish and stupid but truthfully, she was a girl who'd hardly seen the outerworld, a girl with so many dreams, who ended up falling for a gentleman who wasn't one. She does represent a lot of girls out there.
She represents the problems their naive illusions cause them.
She represents their plight.
She represents the ugly consequences of fantasies.
She represents the wrong side of love.
But that's not my problem. My problem is that if she represents them then she has to give them a strong message.
and I want to see her do it.
I want her to stand up on her feet and be independent now.
I want her to realize that while mistakes become a permanent part of our lives, they do not define our lives, not until we give them the power to.
I want her to show that a girl always doesn't need a guy to stand tall and proud.
She just needs herself and the strength.
I want her to give them hope and life and moral support.
To show the world that when a girl decides, she can take on the whole world alone.
I simply want her to grow a backbone, ditch Harshad out of her life, stop moaning and show them, that, a girl is indeed made of steel. She can make anything beautiful if she simply wants.
and she needs to start with her own life.
