13th, Masu - While you both are at it, let me have my own fun.

The reference scene is the walking away, he tries to object slightly when she mentions his hand but he stops the moment she talks about her pain, her tears. His hands move towards wiping her tears but he stops arguing her claim of the hurt that exists. Her tears and his inability to stop them has always played on his mind. So ofcourse , he stops all arguments because he hears from her what he has always feared, his insecurity about making her happy.

But the moment she does the first walk away, he reverts to his defense mechanism and throws the last ultimatum,doesn't dismiss her argument still but tries to bring that fighting spirit in Nandini who always responded to his challenge.

But when she gives him the goodbye laced with sugar, he takes it as her final decisions ..her tears ...not because he is done with her, but because he thinks she wants it like that.

Hence he tries to go undercover- both for himself and perhaps to goad her as well.

He sings Alvida but he was never done , the moment he saw her around, he went to her- not done .. Yes in his head he tries telling himself "done with Nandini" argument but it fails even there or else he will word it like that to Cabir.

His actions-words be questioning Nandini about her decision and her behaviour. He respects it , hence he said , don't instigate me to revert back to the Monster I was before you came.

He is respecting her still, not crossing that line. Or else he will be the the complete Monster like he is infront of Noyonika and be done with Nandini.

He is not indifferent , hence not done but he is confused, puzzled because the inference he drew from Nandu's actions from that night is being contradicted by her care.
