Yea, Dhruv is an introvert, new to love and a little insecure. However that doesn't mean that when he knew the "girl he LOVES" is crying or sad, that he wouldn't want to support her and calm her down. He'll be restless to see her, to comfort her.
But Dhruv wasn't at all. He only went because Manik told him.

I'm not even going to say it's infatuation. He just likes the attention he gets from Nandini, he likes the way she talks positively (talked?) about him too. I think that's it.

You took the words out of my mouth ... That's what I'm thinking after today's episode ... Druv is not in love with Nandini, he only thinks he loves ..

Bang on...the same thought went through my head when I watched that scene...no matter how shy or introvert a guy is he will atleast feel restless if he knew the girl he is madly in love with is distress. But I got nothing from Druv.
To me it's more like then love you could also call it a crush...but love???? I don't see it!
If Alia hadn't interfered I don't think Druv would have come this far.

So much posts about Dhruv. I'm not surprised though after his awesome dialogues today he deserves to be discussed. If there was a character in the show that Cvs failed to make him grow and failed in giving us a clear picture about him it's Dhruv. There is no progress at all in his character in fact CVS have totally ruined this character. He had transformed from being an introvert to being an idiot. Either that or Cvs don't know the difference between someone who is an introvert or someone who is just too dumb to bother for the girl he is SUPPOSED to love. Manik was pushing him to go to her and see if she WAS actually fine not HOPE she was fine.
Right here Manik should have noticed that he made a mistake by sacrificing his love for Dhruv because Dhruv DOES NOT lover her. He should have compared his state to Dhruv's and this should have cleared all his doubts and made him realize that only what's between him and Nandini is TRUE love what Dhruv has in his mind is anything but love.
I actually cracked up today with Dhruv's scenes. Really what have Cvs made out of this character. I will post what went through my head after seeing Dhruv. No offense intended to anyone.
Manik: You have to support her. Be with her. Give her a shoulder.
Dhruv: *scratches his head*
Manik: "Kya hua?"
Dhruv: "I'm confused."
Manik: "Kyu, what are you confused about?"
Dhruv: "I can't make up my mind."
Manik: "On what?:
Dhruv: "Should I give her my left shoulder or my right shoulder." 🤓
Isliye Manik decides to purposely fall off that harness 🤣

I agree! A man who is deeply in love with his girl would not abandon her when she needs him the most. Dhruv needed to be pushed by Manik on how he should treat his girl. I don't think he loves her anything more than a friend.
