I am not very experienced in the matters of love, personally too immature and rational at the same time to believe in it as well. I don't really know how one puts the emotion that is so sacred, so chaste, so consuming destructively and non-destructively, into words that flow endlessly like the Ganges! But you my friend are an exception and such a beautiful one at that!
The way you have you described the entire scene from such an analytical point of view (May I ask how many times did you watch the scene 😆) is just jaw-dropping. The way you described the changes in character as one falls and experiences love was just brilliant! Especially the bit about Manik not believing in fireflies, but he believed in her belief!

The ever consuming flames of love first ignited a spark, causing an attraction that was not ignored, rather fulfilled, pulling the two together. Next the catalyst that fanned the spark, causing both emotional and hormonal havoc, as he re-discovered himself while the she saw past her judgements. And lastly the raging flames that burned yet consumed both. Such flames are bound to be destructive as their paths had been riddled beyond just the actions of these mere months. But as they will emerge from such riddles, together, the fire won't die. The fire can't die. They won't let it die.
What should i say...when one says everything. You don't even know how to appreciate such beautiful, fluid and clear writing. The passion in your paragraph reminded me of one of my favourite love story -Jane Eyre and one of my favourite heroes in, lover in english fiction, classics is Edward Rochester. His passion had me. But such passionate write-ups by you people makes me feel that you all are capable of passion that might even surpass the most passionate.👏
