I was so preoccupied today, my mind was so preoccupied, rather numb that when i started watching the episode,their confession, their kiss, i was not into it. And i thought all this time i was waiting for this episode and now I am feeling disconnected. While the diwali episode had given me all the feels, i thought would it have been better if they had kissed then. coz then i was so connected. It was a somewhat sad feeling
But coming here and reading this post of yours, your translation of their confession, your takes i was reconnected. and how...I was actually moved till i reached the end of your post and could feel myself wanting to shed a tear or rather couldn't help feeling emotional. Some of your takes on what Manan felt, how they felt, tugged at my heart. Amazing, superb, poignant. Adjectives are not doing complete justice so..🤗Thank you for giving me my missing link to Manan and KYY for the episode. Your post made my viewing complete for what is viewing Manik and Nandini if you can't feel their love.

I can not even coherent what I am exactly feeling. As I have always said while discussing in ATs that writers are very much aware of what they are doing. They know what to do and how to present it to us. They know that we have had our share of daily soaps with cheesy clich storyline and that is exactly not the thing we are looking for. They have created characters so deep that we cannot help but relate to them. Connect with them.
Seriously, before KYY i was watching only a couple of shows. but i used to wait for them. But after watching KYY for sometime, dunno what happened, i slowly stopped watching and waiting for those shows. And even if i did see them, the interest was completely lost. All of the scenes specially the romantic ones started feeling so superficial, i could just see the actors acting and not the characters anyone. Romance did NOT feel romantic at all. The shows had not changed, the acting of the actors had not changed, the characters had not changed, but something had changed. KYY had changed something. Manik and Nandini had changed everything. Only they felt real. Only their romance gave the feels. Only this story had me hooked. Even in KYY, everything apart from Manan scene seem like a distraction, an interruption to me, something to fast forward and move on to Manan scene. Of course then i go back and watch the forwarded portions. But Manan scenes top the priority list-not just their romantic encounters, but every interaction.
Coming to today's episode, well it was simply perfect. Not only because it had Manik and Nandini's confession but also I can see the vortex of the mess nearing. The coins are set, chances are being played, fate played hers, life played it's. Now we shall see the consequences of the clash of life and fate. We'll see who all will emerge out of it as winners without getting defeated in this game of chess.
For the first time, i am hearing this novel concept of life and fate being distinct, seperate entities. Till now i had heard destiny and karma. but destiny and life-unique. simplifies things, makes a few things easier, infact settles some of the constant struggle with destiny's games, by giving a new perspective
Today episode was very symbolic and now, I can see a bit clearly that what may happen.
She came. She got impressed. She admired his efforts. She felt important to someone. She felt the belonging.
He came. He saw. He was surprised. He felt loved. He felt needed. He felt warmth. He felt abode.
Today's MaNan's scene had too much of emotional connectivity to gather it into absolute combinations of 26 alphabets. uff again, how differently you put it. You definitely seem to have a nice and varied combination of 26 alphabets and that too in abundance.
Yes, I am glad that the kiss happened. Like everyother, I was waiting for it too but what took me off my feet was Manik's confession.
It is trust. It is security. It is feeling of importance. It is the guidance light that he seeks. He wants nothing but these and Nandini gave him exactly that.
He didn't want those clich confessions of love from her. He didn't need any of those stupid promises from her. All he wanted was assurance. Assurance that she'll stay by his side, humesha. Will shine for him like a star, humesha. Will include him in her prayers, humesha. Will trust him, humesha. He just wanted to make sure that the happiness, homeliness and hope he is getting stays with him, humesha.
haain.. he actually wanted her to say all those things that she had told him earlier but this time in her full senses, in a sombre state. He just heard all those things from her once, but it had that impact on him, the feeling all her words,[ the emotions in her words, the truth in her talks, her love for him in those words,] gave him even when they were said only once. And now he wanted that feeling again. and he did not want to hear I love you from her, but he wanted to feel, to experience the love in her heart in the form of those simple words that came out when she poured her heart out before him. He wanted to feel those feelings all over again and again till forever. He never wanted anything of his own desire,he only asked for those that she was willing to give, nothing more nothing less,but everything and all of everything that she felt for him and wanted to give him at her own free will, never did he try to force his desires or wants on her when she didn't want to. He only kissed her when she was ready and wanted to be kissed. wow that's selfless, that's true, that's pure, that's deep, that feels like respect, that's what truly is love, and that's that's Manik for Nandu, that's Manik for me.
What will he give her in return?
He'll keep her happy. He'll make her fireflies glow. He'll let her commit her share of mistakes and cover up for her. He'll let her enjoy the childhood she lost. He'll let her get to know the child within her. He'll get her out of the shell she built so hard that it never slips away, not even when she is drunk.
When she asked him what he wants to hear I could definitely see her wish to see him happy. She'll take down the whole world if it makes her man happy. She'll do whatever is in her power to make him happy. That is the amount of care that she holds for him. That is the amount of love she secured, only for him. only for him-yes
He came to her from behind when she was searching for him. Don't you guys see, he is incapable of leaving her alone? It's not in him to leave her. He'll be there for her, with her, humesha. Even if he tries to hide, to back off, he can't. No matter how hard he tries to stay away from her, he can't.

Again impactful usage of the word This incapability of Manik to leave his Nandu alone is so endearing and stronger than all his capabilities put together. not in him to leave her-does that mean they are one???
She doesn't let him. She seeks for him. She wants him. She's scared, now, to step out without him. She is scared to think of a life without him, without the security she gets when she is with him.
And he surely likes that, loves that she seeks him-to ab kyu dhund rahi ho mujhe. yaar, who is the writer of the show? where does he/she gets these lines from? did any real-life characters inspire them? superb lines and their placement. They are delivered at just the right time, at the right moment.
And he?
He can't see her like that. He can't let her be weak. He can't let her be scared. He can't let her be the target of Monsters roaming around.
So, he comes back. Back to where he belongs. Back to where he is needed. Back to where he wants to be.

So homely he is that he lays himself bare, in front of her, at her mercy. He trusts her with himself. With his vulnerability. With his emotions. He tells her of the effect she has on him. He tells her that she is his anchor, his sanity, his salvation, his light, his star.
Homely-the the bestest feeling in the world-the bestest state of being-to be home-with the people that are your abode-literally, metaphorically, symbollically and in every way.Because home is security-the most basic need of any living being. to be home-and you have reached where you wanna be. with whom you wanna be-and then you dont feel the need to be anywhere else.This is where you ultimately want to be. And the worst feeling and worst state to be-to not be home-to not feel abode.
And she? What did she do?
She accepts him the way he is. She lets go of her hatred for his love. She who would flare up at the mere mention of stars doesn't get offended when he calls her so. Just because, he likes them. They are important to him. She lets go of the remaining negativity within her because he gave her reason to.
