This serial will be the death of me. No seriously, the way they handle emotions. I am just so undone. What to say...MaNan have DEFINITELY emerged as my most favourite couple since the 'Manjha' sequence surpassing the likes of KaSh and Maneet. May be its because they got intimate mentally before anything else, may be its the amount of trust they put in each other rather than doubting each others' character every now and then or may be it's just them. Together. Like you've mentioned before, the two sides of a ying-yang. 😊
I liked how restless Manik was , the shock was wearing in and it showed not only how lonely he truly is but why this man is the way he is projected to the outer world. He has to be the strong, invincible for his friends because they drive strength from him. But what about him? He has been internalizing , non-trusting people and just becoming more and more cynical.
Nandu is like I have mentioned not changing him, but she is becoming "The person" of his life. She is so crystal clear , her ability to trust and above all she doesn't need words but perceives the emotions behind them. Her tenacity and realness is making him trust her ,so much that he can break, give up and be vulnerable infront of her , because she lets him . And this is why he needed her, he wanted to break down and just give up for few moments because of the fear and worry for his other friend. He needed her for his own private moment. He has never doubted the goodness inside her, only that his monstrous side had never acknowledged it before. He have always found her trustworthy- no wonder he handed her Dhruv's files way back when things weren't as good as they're now. He was mad at her for being the person who made Dhruv punch him and that was the only hiccup. The night she lashed out at him for not being fair to her and doubting her all the time cleared his head regarding her completely. He didn't even think of questioning her whether she was lying about patching up him and Dhruv- he just knew that she wasn't lying. And that's how it works for them. Nandini have rightfully taken longer than him to trust him (for obvious reasons), but the moment she did, she has been doing the same thing.
The Hug
I think this was such a serene peaceful real moment . It wasn't love nor was it the simmering passion. it was just trust in each other. He was comfortable enough to break down in her arms and she was comfortable enough to recognize his gesture. The words were not needed. The hug was comfort and trust. You know the kind of place Nandini Murthy has made in his heart when he chose her over his buddy! The others were of course out of question. He wanted someone who is oblivious to everything that is happening in his life, someone who would never question him, someone in front of whom he doesn't need to put up a charade and someone who wouldn't mind or mock a weak, broken and vulnerable Maanik Malhotra.
Cabir-Raghav
i like the treatment yet I am feeling uneasy with Raghav's fears. It's just that for someone who knows and understands what Cabir has been going through, it makes no sense that he is pushing him away , almost made it a self-centered action. The teacher-student power equation makes it even more significant . I understand the social fears of Raghav but the way he is not wording it properly for Cabir makes me a bit fearful for them. I somehow don't see a happy ending to this story.
These two things overpowered everything for me. Cvs are perfection.
