What I find praiseworthy is how they are treating the homosexual subplot. Cabir and Raghav have really captured my attention with their issues and insecurities.

Raghav is a grown-up man who is aware how the world operates. I can understand his frustration, his annoyance at the gap between their communication and understanding. This silence between Raghav and Cabir will grow to ruin their relationship. I love how their romance track is treated so sensibly, like a straight couple track. I love how their insecurities are coming across so beautifully. I love those two. So broken, so lost, so real. Cabir's conversation with his mother and his subsequent flashback of the moments- beautiful. And when he opens his eyes, like Raghav says, "to face the reality"- may possibly be the best moment of the show in a way. Raghav cannot exactly be blamed. His dilemma is even bigger because he knows the world. He knows those people. He has lived through this. Yes he have, but the problem is Cabir is a teenager. There are other ways to make someone understand. And Raghav has age on his side, so why not sit and talk instead of shooing him away like that? If Maanik can be mature enough to handle Cabir's secret in such a manner, why can't Raghav do the same?

I am really interested in Harshad and Alya's almost uneasy sibling bond. They do have affection for one another but they are also wary of each other. Very realistic portrayal of the changing nature of sibling bonding. Alya, is still living in the past, which is sorta understandable. However, I am getting major Dhruv-Alya pairing vibes. I am all for it. Alya and Dhruv share this adorable, bickering thing with one another. Initially, I was skeptical of them being together, but all of a sudden it seems like a possibility- what with the amount of scenes they're getting together and the thing they share.

That being said, Aalya NEEDS to rectify herself! She's using Dhruv to get back to Maanik. Its just as bad as sending those goons after Nandini!

Ah, Manik, Manik, Manik. My lovely, broken child. The trust between Manik and Nandini is being delicately constructed. We can actually point out their relationship graph, which is rarely seen in Indian shows. When I watched Ouran High School Host Club, someone said about the Hitachiin twins that their world is so small, so isolated. Manik's world reminds me of that. He is friends with all of them, but he himself, is so alienated. His invulnerable exterior is finally giving up to Nandini's sunshine. He is slowly accepting Nandini into his world. That hug, more than romantic or somesuch stuff, symbolized Manik's deconstruction. We need to talk more about how Manik engulfing Nandini, stands more for Manik's acceptance, his trust than any hawt scene thrown around for fan-pleasure. IT was a significant scene, but not the way people are interpreting it by making it into standardized Hawt romance. It was deeper than romance. It was about trust and opening yourself up to pain and heart-break. Manik is breaking.

He did stay overnight in the college, but I thought it was more about his inability to return to his isolated home and face himself and his feelings regarding Cabir than Nandini. This hug, the overnight stay- was about Manik. Not just Manik-Nandini. The very title of my post today is dedicated to Maanik! I don't know what else shall I add...you've described the whole thing SO BEAUTIFULLY! 👏 👏
