my best frends sisters name is sara...spelled n pronounced differently, also there r WHITE-WASHED gurls in my skool who spell and pronounce their name like SARAH...their x'cuse is tht their frends n teachers have trouble pronouncing their REAL names...😕 my names annu, but ppl dnt c me callin myself ANNE or ANNIE...now thts wht i would call WHITE-WASHED! n i honestly dnt give 2 cents if any1 feels offended by tht!...its not meant to b any sort of profane or offensive term...n as for labelling...then yea its labelling, but in a way every1 is labelled....white, black, brown n yellow....

I havent ever heard the expression white washed, unless we speak in relation to painting ones house, where you WHITE WASH the house... this is more prevelant amongst the lower strata of society.....

actually white washed is a common term used these days, maybe not in India and it is not prevelant amongst the lower strata of a society. Just wanted to clear that 😳
