There is a very famous saying by Abraham Lincoln.... People think you are a fool. Dont open your mouth and confirm this to them.

If you do not know whether Sarah is a muslim name or no, do not comment.

In any case, is it necessary for the child to bear a muslim name. For crying out loud, we are talking of a child... and the name given to her by her parents.... are we so insensitive in this forum today 🤢

You dont like Iqbal - Fine. He is a star... he can take your critisism. You dont like his fiancee... fine.

But children and other members of the family not in public eye... yikes.....

Grow up guys.... lest the world goes by when you are busy finding fault with the names of children......

Thanx so much for posting this Priya di🤗

was just gonna pm u to close my own topic

I actually got made fun of in my own topic. Isnt that gr8. I said not to bash and then they all told me that I am accusing them😭

U r so right 😃, Just as you need a reason to pick or find fault with every post about a star😛

Thanks for confirming that you are not finding fault with kids name, but as I see it, Questioning whether Sarah is a Muslim name or otherwise is indeed finding fault. It is the prerogative of the parents of that child to name her, and unless you are that parent, suggest you do not comment upon the name. Surely you wont like it if someone commented upon your name, isnt it.

Do unto others, what you want others to do unto you. Remember this proverb.. will stand you in good stead,.😛

n btw, im not muslim, so how m i suppose 2 noe

my best frends sisters name is sara...spelled n pronounced differently, also there r WHITE-WASHED gurls in my skool who spell and pronounce their name like SARAH...their x'cuse is tht their frends n teachers have trouble pronouncing their REAL names...😕 my names annu, but ppl dnt c me callin myself ANNE or ANNIE...now thts wht i would call WHITE-WASHED! n i honestly dnt give 2 cents if any1 feels offended by tht!...its not meant to b any sort of profane or offensive term...n as for labelling...then yea its labelling, but in a way every1 is labelled....white, black, brown n yellow....

so who cares if i call them white-washed...if they r, then they'll noe wht im talkin bout, n if they arent, then they should just suck it up, cause they have nuthin 2 wry bout!

So based upon some theory which you believe in, you go about labelling someone.

I havent ever heard the expression white washed, unless we speak in relation to painting ones house, where you WHITE WASH the house... this is more prevelant amongst the lower strata of society.....

F.Y.I: i was NOT the ONE who commented whether she was MUSLIM OR NOT...all i did was comment on sum1 else's opinion...WITH NO INTENTION OF OFFENCIN THE LIL GURL...

I DONT EVEN NOE WHO SHE IS....i dnt care if her name is sarah, maria, heena, or kavita...she can b called ANYTHIN FOR ALL I CARE...n another thing...callin sum1 white-washed, for the luv of god, IS NOT WHT ONE WOULD CONSIDER OFFENSIVE!

U know what.... why dont you go back and read the IF COC and rules and regulations... might help, actually help, you see.

If you do not know who she is, dont comment. Just as you do not like me commenting on you, she may not want you commenting on her.... and she is just a small baby.

This is ur original quote 😛 commenting on another post, assenting to it, and then adding your adjectives does amount to indulging in the same comment.

actually white washed is a common term used these days, maybe not in India and it is not prevelant amongst the lower strata of a society. Just wanted to clear that 😳
