I've been asked to give my fingerprints and what not many times, but I understand it's vital. Many tragedies have occurred in the past and I for one don't want any more.

well i would love to agree with u bu i cant...coz this isnt true...it is a case of clear discirimation against muslims....y amongst 14 ppl he was the only one to be denied visa??? he said tht wen he was denied a visa for uk...there were two muslims in the group n both were denied n the rest were granted a visa...is this not discrimation..or do u still call it a conincidence??

m sorry but this differentitiation between ppl just coz of thier religion pisses me off!!

i agree what what u all have said and even i wanna know why srk , salman khan , amir , fardeen and ect.. are not deneid visa's . the main reason was that his name was mohammad iqbal khan ( as far as it said in the newspaper)..........................

SRK, Sunny Deol and A.R. Rehman have gone through similar stuff too. I guess it's the difficult time we are going through these days. So one shouldn't take it personally and should cooperate with the authorities.

I agree with Star_m, worldclass diva, iqbalneha4eva, Heenap.

The state of affairs in the world is so sad presently. People in the US and UK are petrified of boarding taxis with bearded drivers (by the way these include people of any religion). It is a psychosis that has hit people post 9/11, London train bomb last year and the recent threats to airplanes flying UK-USA. Obvioulsy life is no longer safe for anyone. In such a situation if the visa authorities have beocme extra vigilant and stict I think people should cooperate rather than blow situations out of proportion. It is not a personal attack on Iqbal alone. From what I hear visa authorities in the UK and USA have become very strict in issuing visas per se for anyone. And who is responsible for this. Some anonymous people who are hiding behind curtains and thinking of destructive strategies to ruin the peace that hibernates in this world.

I think as a responsible citizen of India Iqbal should have cooperated and not made a public statement fuelling the imagination of a few who are ever ready to cause destruction in this world including India.

I personally don't care if some of these stars don't get any visas at all. I would be happier if the immigration authorities are able to restore all round faith and confidence in the governments of their system rather than relax their measures in order to give favors to some very very important people.

Well in which case his sense of discretion and wisdom is highly questionable.😕

I 100% agree its discrimination but everyone has to pay prize what's going on in the world. I am only Indian in my office all other's are American and they way they speak about Muslim you will get clear idea, even in my neighborhood we do have one nice Pakistani couple but everyone tries to ignore them even though they are very nice

I agree with you. Those people are just being careful. Indians know who he is but other people don't. Plz just don't make it a religous issue.

I just meant he's in the media a lot in terms of interviews etc. So obviously personal and professional life always comes up.
