After a very interesting and controversial season last year, Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki will be back with another stint from 17 March on Life OK.

The show produced by Miditech Pvt Ltd featured some of the biggest names from the Indian television industry last season, namely Sanaya Irani, Debina Bonnerjee, Ragini Khanna, VJ Andy, Amar Upadhaya, among others, and was hosted by very popular Ram Kapoor.

The format managed to grab eyeballs and did create a lot of controversial stir in the media with the contenders lashing verbal abuses against each other, which could have been real or a smart promotional gimmick pulled well by the channel and makers.

Without delving any deeper in the past, let's throw some light on the show's coming season. This time, the contestants will not be celebrities but aam aadmi, yes common mango people (aam aadmi certainly is the flavour of the season everywhere). There will be no host as the cameras will directly lead you to the story.

When we buzzed producer Niret Alva (Miditech), he informed, "This time we are going to have the season more close to the international format. Some celebs will definitely join in every now and then to pep up the drama and entertainment quotient, but that will come much later. We are starting the season in Delhi with regular contestants and it's going to be a fun ride for sure."

The episodes are being currently canned and Welcome season 2 will take the 10pm slot from next week.

Now, crops up another question. With the above show airing at the 10pm slot, what will happen to the current slot holder, Kaisa Yeh Ishq...Ajab Sa Risk Hai (Siddhant Cinevision).?

We have the answer. Kaisa Yeh Ishq will see a timeslot change and will beam at the early evening 7pm slot.

"We had wanted the 7 pm time slot earlier but with the show doing good, it remained at 10 pm. So we are actually quite satisfied with the change. We are also bringing in some changes in the show to give something fresh to the audience. We have already started shooting for the same," said producer Manish Goswami (Siddhant Cinevision) in confirmation.

Life OK Head Ajit Thakur also confirmed the developments via a text message.

Shashi Sumeet Productions' Tumhari Paakhi, on Life OK, has certainly become more interesting with viewers witnessing Tanya (Madhura Naik) cope up with the challenges posed by Paakhi (Shraddha Arya) and Aayan (Divyam Dama).

And in celebration of the festive season of Holi, the show's upcoming episodes will see the cast members celebrating the festival with much fanfare playing with vibrant colours, water and indulging in eating tasty gujiyas and a special Holi drink.

Any guesses what would be the special Holi drink? Well, we are talking about bhaang!

It will so happen that Mahaji (Ritu Vij) will get Anshuman (Iqbal Khan), Ayaan, Paakhi, Girish (Sachin Shroff) and Lavanya (Rukhsar Rehman) drunk after which they will be seen making merry by getting into dancing and having some fun.

But in the midst of all this, Tanya will not consume bhaang and instead do something to prove how capable she is in taking care of Anshuman and Aayan.

When we contacted Tanya aka Madhura Naik to get some more information about the same, she stated, "Holi Hai! And something special has to happen here.

The viewers will have to wait and watch to know what Tanya will do at the Holi party."

While this track will unfold, another show in the channel will present a high-end dramatic sequence during Holi where Rajveer (Gaurav S Bajaj) will deal with the complexities and guilt of cheating on Simran (Sukirti Kandpal) in Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai (Siddhant Cinevision).

The current plot revolves around Simran taking a unique initiative of educating the girls of Haryana without the knowledge of the village panchayat, who oppose this norm.

The episodes of Holi will show Rajveer being provoked by Rajjo to consume bhaang so that she can get to know more about what Simran is up to. Rajveer, in his state of drunkenness, will disclose the information about Simran educating the girls in the village; which will later be conveyed to Bua (Sudha Chandran).

The sub-track which will run parallel to this will be the complex idea Rajjo will fill into Rajveer's mind that he got physically intimate with her. This will leave Rajveer in a state of guilt of cheating on Simran.

When we got in touch with Gaurav S Bajaj and quizzed him about the same, he refused to give information about the track and stated, "Well, like all shows, we too would be celebrating Holi with much fervor and will showcase an interesting drama along with singing and dancing."
