Why can't we nominate Rajeev?

Just read Siim Di's post in which she said that we won't be able to nominate Rajeev in the awards this year cos he hasn't dome any shows this year. But what about TB and CID??? (I know it was a cameo)

The tenure for these awards is from June to June (or something around this time). The serial must come in this time frame. For those who are getting confused,

ITA 2004 means- Serials from June 2003 to June 2004

ITA 2005 means- Serials from June 2004 to June 2005 . Since TB had started in June 2005 and Rajeev was in KTH till May 2005, that is why we had nominated him as Sujal and Varun last year.

So ITA 2006 means - Serials from June 2005 to June 2006. Since TB ended in Last week of Nov. 2005, so it comes in the time frame and we can nominate him as Varun. And there is nothing wrong with this. Remeber Akashdeep Sehgal as Ansh. He got the award for best actor in negative role in ITA 2005 with fulll honours although he died in Nov/Dec 2004. Why? Because the tenure was from June 2004 to June 2005.

Last time Rajeev was nominated as Sujal because that role was more popular, this year we can nominate him as Varun, cos although TB wasn't such a big hit, Rajeev did the role full justice and even Ketan Mehta was pleased with his work (he said in an interview, also Kay Kay said this). So we can do justice to Varun this time.

Or else you can still nominate him for the best TV pesonality. He did TB, he did a cameo in CID, he is one of the most highly priced and paid actors and he is always in the news. What more does a TV personality mean? Mandira Bedi was also nominated for this award once although she had done only the World Cup Event on Set Max a long time before the awards took place.

And most imporatantly, I don't think Rajeev will keep us waiting till Nov. (that's when the awards are organised). He willl be on screen, what more reason do you want. He is a television personality and I've already proved with all logics that we CAN nominate him for Varun. Mid-day keeps saying TB is a flop and all. This will be a good slap on their faces. Comeon!! Please everyone!! Simdi !! Bhaskar bro!!! Please evryone, consider what I'm saying please.

Lekhenita I think Seema was talking about SPA and not ITA. In ITA we can always do that. No problem in that.

You can nominate him but im asking you why..? why should we waste our time and money for the person who is not understanding our feelings only thinking about his own 100% satisfaction .What about ours 110% satisfaction. We have done what not to make him win last time /...Bcoz we wanted him to win to show Ekta that who is Rajeev.
Yes I respected his decision ... I admired him as a person and still admire him not bcoz he was the only person in the industry who was not and is not after money but logics and satisfaction, We admired him bcoz for the first time somebody dared to walk out of the most prestigious production house.., bcoz somebody rose voice against Ekta ...jo harek ke bas ki baat nahiin... Eg are Ronit Ejaj Natasha Prerna hiten and a whole lot of balaji grp.
But what he is giving us in return...waiting and waiting and waiting .Pata nahiin kab sahab 100%satisfied honge aur kab koi project sighn karenge.
Hamne kya chaha tha ..Rajeev ko kisi serial mein dekhna. Kya KTH serial mein kuch extra ordinary tha...nahiin We watched bcoz of Rajeevs superb performance. To agar woh kisi serial ko sighn karke 80% bhi dega to return mein 100%milega Satisfaction of being accepted and appreciated.
As a creative person i agree that artist wants 100% but in life you will never get 100% bcoz then this 100% will lose its importance.and npbody will try to further improve his calibre.
Please read it carefully and understand what i mean to say. This is something serious.

No I was not talking abt any particular award function but i said it and raise a genuine question that should we waste our time and energy to nominate him and encourage him for his stubbornness.?
