Balaji's recent discovery, 17-year-old Krystal D'Souza aka Kinjal of Kahe Na Kahe, is moving out of the show. The teenager is unable to cope with the pressures of working in the television industry. Krystal will be replaced by Ekta Kapoor's (current) lucky mascot Wasna Ahmed aka Dhara of Kasautii Zindagi Kay.

Krystal has been keeping unwell for a long time. She doesn't report to the sets on time and is finding it difficult to cope with the daily routine.

Says a source," The TRPs of the show are beginning to pick up but Krystal's performance is not at all satisfactory. As she is quite frail and young, she is unable to take the long hours of work and the hectic schedule."

Adds the source, "Working in a daily soap is more hectic compared to a weekly one and as a complete newcomer in the industry, Krystal is unable to deal with the constant pressure.

Ekta's blue eyed girl Wasna will replace Kyrstal in Kahe Na Kahe. As compensation, Krystal will be given a parallel lead role in a new primetime show by Balaji."

Krystal confirmed the news and says," I am at the doctor's dispensary right now. Yes, I will be replaced as I am not keeping well. The schedule is extremely hectic and I am not able to cope with the stress."

Ipshita Deb, creative head of Kahe Na Kahe, says, "Yes, Krystal has not been keeping well for the last two weeks. That's when we decided to replace her in the show."

Wasna Ahmed

She adds, "We might bring her back later but for now, she is unable to continue shooting. Her performance has considerably improved from the time she started with us. Also, Ekta didn't want her to leave the show. But, we can't keep her if her health doesn't allow her to deal with the pressures of working in a daily soap."

Talking about Wasna, Ipshita says, "Ekta likes Wasna's work. She has become very popular as Dhara in Kasauti... She has been workng with us for one year now and was delighted when we asked her to replace Krystal in Kahe Na Kahe."

With Wasna playing Kinjal in the show, will there be a drastic change in the storyline? "Kinjal's role will remain the same. Wasna will just step into her shoes," adds Ipshita.

Abigail, 15: Latest discovery, Abigail is an eleventh standard student of Sophia College. She has been paired opposite Aamir Ali, who is double her age, in Kyaa Dill Mein Hai.

Praneeta Sahu, 19: Praneeta was chosen to play the lead role in Kasturi (before Shubhangi Atre) but could not cope with the gruelling shooting schedules . She was out of the show in two week's time. Later she was offered an insignificant character, Jwala in Kasautii Zindagi Kay, as consolation.

Krithika Sengal, 18: She pays the new generation Prerna fondly referred to as P2, the eldest daughter of Sneha and Omi in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Originally from Kanpur, she is doing her graduation in media and advertising alongside acting.

ugh...this blows...i dont want kinjal to be replaced since we're used to the original kinjal, besides i like krystal's on-screen chemistry with vidyu and kanav. No offense, but i dont like dhara of kasauti at all, P2 would have been a better choice....dhara acting capabilities are the same as kinjal...so she is not better. Well, i am very upset that they decided to replace kinjal at the last moment b/c she cant handle it and its affecting her health...but there is a 20% chance of krystal returning as kinjal later on in the show if she gets better and can handle the situation. But i highly doubt that...since once ekta replaces her leads, she barelys gives them the chance to return. So its basically GOODBYE to Krystal...ugh, i was so waiting for her scenes with kanav. if the new kinjal isnt good than i ll stop watching this show until krystal decides to come back...i really hope this replacement is temporary and NOT permenant 😭

WTH...I just logged in and had to read this 😭 This is disappointing.

I had just started liking Kinjal-Vidyuth pairing and chemistry !! Krystle was so cute and perfect for the role..I don't like Dhara at all and was never impressed by her in KZK. Am not even willing to give her a chance.

P2 ( Kritika ) would've been a much better choice. I love her pairing with Naman. And they share a great chemistry.

I'm not sure if I'll continue watching it coz I would not like Naman with Wasna And I'm not sure how she wud look with Kanav either !

i hope this is a temperary replacement. Wasna looks cute but i don't know whether she'll look good with kanav or vidyuth. but i'm willing to give her a chance.

i dont htink its the actors but the story line is a lil TOO different and dragging.

the only thing im surprised baout is that the replacement isnt from kyunkii cause for a while i thought it was gonna become a kuinkii reunion spot

I sooooooooooo agree with you. I dont watch Kasauti that often but can't stand Dhara-Vardaan.. makes me want to barf 🤢🤢🤢

NOOOOOOOOO!!! y is she leaving 😭 ????? I loved Kanav and Kinjal's jodi, they were sooo awesome onscreen!!!! Besides it would look so weird and akward if Dhara is going to be Vidyuth's love interest b/c Dhara is his sister-in-law in KZK!!! This stinks... 😡 😡 I used to watch this show b/c of Kanav, Kinjal(Krystle), and Vidyuth and now she's leaving. But I can understand b/c she's getting sick and all, this show's not going to be the same 😭 😭 😭 and I don't know if I'll watch it as much!!
