its disgusting..i cant say anymore...and the visual effects she uses..makes me sick..i would never be able to sit in the room with my family watching that..thats how sick it is..even the english soaps arent this sick..i hope mets gets justice..wihtout her being called the usual 'ekta filmy dialogues'

I was pretty shocked by what Mayuri said to Parvati about society n all!!i mean..did she forget what she went through during the mms scandal??how can she even say no to the court case!!and as far as rest of the family members r concerned, i i expected them to do this anyway....it's been their habit to not support Parvati and den beg for forgiveness at the end!!! so typical!!! i really hope Adi supports Parvati and get justice for Mets..

I was just thinking if the case goes to court (hopefully will) pranay could use Adi and methilli's love as a means to justify himself and further complicate the matter because knowing ekta she'll stretch this for a while. 🤢

What a hard hitting, realistic and impactful episode yest was... 👏 👏 👏 3 cheers to Ekta and the Kahaani team for tackling such a serious issue in such a serious way... 👏 👏 👏 no glossing over of facts 👏 and a brilliant presentation of the true face of 'modern and progressive' Indian society. 🤢 🤢 🤢 Starting with that 🤬 of a cop... yeah, people will say its insensitive... but unfortunately, its a stark and horrifying reality... man, yest what they showed is not even 1/4th of what a rape victim has to undergo 😭 at the hands of the 'protectors of the law'... 🤢 and then, the excellent presentation of the true face of educated, 'high class', 'izzatdaar' families in India... 🤢 Sonu, Mayuri, Varun, the oldies... 😡 😡 😡 all one worse than the other... 🤢 all willing to forgive a 'husband' for 'exercising' his rights... 😡 and all more worried about the 'ghar ki izzat' 🤢 rather than a poor girl's self respect... 😭 😭 😭 aw, it was so hard hitting and so realistic...and I appreciate the fact that the Creatives have not tried to downplay things at all... 👏 👏 👏 they are showing them as they exist in society... great work guys, simply great... 👏 👏 👏

I'd opted for the 'What should happen' thing, even though its unrealistic coz its positive... 👏 👏 👏 most opted for what actually happens... well, then in real life, this is what actually happens to a rape victim... 😭 😭 😭 they are made to feel guilty, ashamed of themselves, run down, insulted, taunted and then encouraged to forgive their 'husbands'... 🤢 Maithali's condition which they are showing is harsh reality... its what actually happens... that scene between Maithali and Pranay yest where Pranay is destroying Maithali's self respect and scaring her to death was so real, 🤢 that it was scary... 😭 😭 😭 full credit to Shalini and Jeetu for some great work... 👏 👏 👏 in reality, a rape victim is destroyed so much by 'civilised' society 😡 that they have no strength left to fight back... 😭 😭 😭 and credit to the Kahaani team for being brave enough to show this reality... 👏 👏 👏 and that's why a strong, self respecting, dignified woman like Parvati is so wonderful to watch... 👏 👏 👏 I truly think that character of Parvati is the strongest character on T.V.👏 Its a more realistic and practical character than Tulsi...😃 and the way Saakshi potrays Parvati is just fantastic...👏 I often run out of words to praise her...😳 also the approach to the Maithali-Pranay track has been more realistic and hard hitting than the Nandini-Ansh track by a long way...👏 and the credit goes to all the actors involved... 😃esp Saakshi...👏wow, Saakshi is simply the best, touchwood😃 and Parvati the character...👏 the other day Vasu and I were discussing that in reality, rape victims don't have a Parvati or a Tulsi... 😭 and that is what is most unfortunate about reality... that's why I love they way they are portraying their character of Parvati... 👏 👏 👏 she's gonna get justice for a soul destroyed rape victim Maithali 😭 by taking on the social set up... 🤢 whether anyone supports her or not... she's gonna bring Maithali out of this situation in a dignified way... 👏 👏 👏 the scene where they showed Parvati talking to the audience yest... almost like a wake up plea to people was brilliant... 👏 👏 👏 Parvati simply rocks... 👏 👏 👏 ... there is absolutely no doubt about what she is going to do...she's gonna take the matter to the court and fight as hard as she can for justice for her daughter... 👏 👏 👏 and I love it... 😳 love Parvati's determination and her love for Maithali... 😳 believe me, if necessary, she'll get the entire Agarwal family 🤢 jailed for sheltering a rapist... 😡 hope she does that to them when she punishes that 🤬 Pranay... Winnie - I'm going to take back a little of what I said about the way that Ekta deals with rape as an issue. My previous experiences with her serials is always that the victim - the actual victim - takes a backseat while the leading lady and the villain of the day battle it out for months on end. That irks me somewhat, because surely the whole point of justice is that YOU have to get it for yourself, to prove to yourself that you can stand up for your rights and beliefs?

But of course, whatever Ekta's other shows do, Kahaani does it better and with more realistic acting and events 👏 👏 I was mighty impressed with Maithili in the last ep as well. From the minute the cops asked her to tell them what happened, she stood up for herself in spite of the fact that she had just gone through such a traumatic ordeal. When the cops laughed at her, she fiercely told them that she was a woman, not a toy, and her body is her own. I really liked that about Mets and the way that the creatives have so far taken this - it was not Paro telling the cops that Mets deserve justice; it was Mets herself.

I am all for Paro going against that stupid family of hers (why even have any surprise at the way they act? 🤢 We know their character very well by now ) and supporting Mets and fighting for her. But what I want is for Mets to stand BESIDE Paro and not behind her, and fight for herself as well. I don't want Parvati to be the door behind which Mets has to hide.

What they showed in Kahaani yesterday is a sickening reality, I agree. But what I want from Ekta now is for her to show that there is still hope for Mets. Not ALL victims in the real world are too scared to go to court. There ARE rape cases that do make it to court, and there are victims who do stand up for themselves, and THAT is the reality I want Ekta to show, by harnessing and bringing back Mets' strong character. We all know her strength of character from the very first time that she was introduced - I want that side of her to come out. Of course, every victim needs the support of their family, the ones who love them the most - and in this case, that is most definitely Parvati, Pragati (and Gunn) and Adi. But what I don't want is for Adi to come back, kill Pranay and end the matter in a typical "the man saves the woman" fashion. Similarly, I want Paro to fight for Mets, but I don't want her to win the battle FOR her - I want her to give Mets the courage, the skills and the support that will allow Mets to stand up for herself, in court and in life.

Hopefully they continue to show it this way, and not make Paro the centre of this loooooooooong (I can bet) rape track.

U know yaar, the highlight of this track for me has been the approach they have given to Parvati's character...😃 its beautiful...😳 she's been shown as the mature and strong protector of Maithali...😳 the one who'll fight for her at every step...😳but will never overpower Maithali or make her feel inferior in any way. The 3 best egs of this are... 1. the first day that Parvati enters Maithali's room after her return home. Parvati didn't cry in front of Maithali nor did she say anything that may hurt Maithali like 'yeh kya hogaya' or any such lines. She in fact tells Maithali, I know I can't share this pain... 😭but I'll help u get over it...👏 That line for me makes Parvati so special... 😳Eg.2. As u have said, yest with the cops... Parvati just stood aside but Maithali was always aware of her presence and support. And Eg.3. i agree with you ... mets should definetely fight for herself and after all the crying she is doing she will ...i mean when malishka was around wiv pranay mets used to cry all the time then she decided no am not gonna be weak i will fight for what is right and she did ... same here i think she will fight and parvati will be here guardian angel protecting her and motivating and encouraging her ... i think that if this happens then it will put a good message across to the audience and that would be really good... pranay should be punished for his twistedness ... but to be honest with you i am more angry at the aggarwal parivaar then at pranay as ok he is sicko but them why the hell are they supprting him esp the women? whst idiots to me been a women comes before reputation... but i guess they are portraying what actually happens in real life ...

Im quite satisfied with how they are dealing with this track so far.(though i wish there werent any rape track to begin with.) I loved the way Mets stood up for herself yesterday.....even though she was so uncomfortable answering those questions,she did them with alot of poise. No screaming,but softly yet firmly telling her plight. This is what i wanted to see.Shalini's doing an awesome job. 👏 👏 Shez not over the top at all.Her scene with pranay was really disturbing 😕 😭 My heart went out to her,poor girl.She doesnt deserve this. 😭 😭
That policeman was seriously disgusting. Unfortunately the police of India is actually like this.They only consist of the maximum number of rapists. 🤢 😡

About Adi......cant believe Im saying this but i dont want him to come back right now......probably after a few days,coz I wanna see how Paro n Mets handle this situation by themselves.That was sad when Mets has that dream abt him not accepting her.😭 I KNOW that will not happen in any case no matter what Mayuri tells Adi. Im really disappointed with Mayuri 🤢
