Chapter 11
Adi and maithili both sat at the bar. They turned to look at each other..
"see.. you are following me!!!" both said at the same time…the bar tender laughed but both Adi and Maithili glared at him.
" juice please"
"one tequila .."
maithili frowned at adi… "peete peeete mar gayega!" (he'll drink so much alcohol and die one day) she muttered
Adi heard her… "what's your problem maithili!"
M: oh absolutely nothing adi she said while smiling sarcastically…
Adi put his tequila down after drinking it…
He shook his head…
maithili had a curious look on her face…then she gave him a dirty look and turned her head away..
Adi got irritated. He looked round the party for hot girls and there were many but he couldn't be bothered to go to them...they had to come to him! And sure they did.
Girls started crowding Adi and talking to him and clinging on to him
Maithili got so irritated.
M: adi! You know this is my house and if you want to make-out with all these girls, then go to your house!!!
A: shut-up maithili you're just jealous!
Maithili let out a snort of laughter! "me…jealous…of you! You must me joking!! I think the alcohol has taken its toll on you!!! you so need to control yourself!!!"
A: you know what…the alcohol has not taken its toll on me…but your attitude has! I challenge you! drink 5 tequila shots and I'll do the same…we'll see who has better control over themselves!
Maithili looked unsure but agreed immediately as she saw a grin on his face
Soon enough a crowd gathered round the bar. With half of them cheering Maithili and half of them cheering Adi. Adi smirked and drank his fist shot…maithili followed…Adi drank the second shot with ease and maithili took her second…
By her third, maithili's head spinned but she quickly took her fourth and fifth. She was completely drunk now and Adi just stood up smiling…
T: bro…how come you're not drunk???
A: my dear sister…its because I drank water while she drank alcohol.
Tannu gapped at Adi…"bro you're a genius!"
A: I know I am!
Adi turned round to look at maithili but he didn't find her…
A: oh no! Where has she gone!
Maithili stood in the middle of the dance floor and started dancing and singing

She circled her arms round adi's neck

She caressed his cheek then went away

She danced round other boys who were willingly taking her in their arms

She came back to adi and danced seductively in front of him

Maithili danced center stage again

Adi tried to take her away from the crowd but she released herself from his grip

She came to adi and pulled him by his collar, both looked into each other's eyes and she circled round him.

Adi had had enough, He couldn't bare that maithili was behaving like one of 'those' girls with strangers drooling all over her so he sharply tugged her arm and silenced her. She still wasn't wiling to leave the party so he lifted her up and carried her in his arms.
A: tannu…control the party, I'll put her to sleep…
Tannu nervously nodded.
Bharat, Pranay and Mallishka still hadn't got over the shock of what maithili had done.
T: B..bharat…mom dad should not…NOT get to know of this!
Bharat meekly nodded… "they're out…at a restaurant…so no chance of them finding out…"

Adi carried Maithili up the stairs while she blabbered non-sense to him.
"ha ha…"she giggled… "I feel like I'm floating…!!"
"uff!! Kitna khaati hai" muttered adi (god how much does she eat!!)
Maithili looked into adi's eyes…
She touched his cheek slowly and came closer to his face. Both looked into each others eyes.
Adi was bewildered…he kept reminding himself…she's drunk…she dosen't know what she's doing…
But the next thing maithili said caught him completely off guard…
"I LOVE YOU…" Adi froze…random thoughts ran through his head

" I LOVE YOU HRITICK ROSHAN….." saying that maithili flung her arms round adi...

Adi sighed…thank god she thinks I'm Hritick Roshan!!!"
" umm..maithili..you do know I'm adi…Vikram-Aditya Mehra…??" as soon as adi said that maithili raised her hand and slapped him…
"oww!!!"
Adi entered her room now…
"don't you dare talk to me about that dog!!" Maithili barked
Adi was shocked… "d..dog..??"
"woh ek kutta hai!! Very bad doggy!!!"
Adi laid her down on the bed…
Gritting his teeth… "you'll pay for the slap tomorrow!!!"
"You know Shahid…" maihtili started again...
"no..i'm not shahid kapoor..i'm Vikram-Adi…
adi stopped. He remembered the slap he got from maithili when he said he was adi…
"no no..i am shahid kapoor…" he repeted nervously
Maithili giggled and looked at him.

M: you know...adi is not all that bad...

Adi grinned..."oh he isn't now..is he..???...so tell me MAithili what do you like about adi??

M: i think he is sooo handsome and good looking!!!

Adi cocked up his eyebrow...." do you now..." he said slyly

"but he has a MAJOR ego problem!!! he is sooo arrogant!!!"

Adi looked offended....maithili started her aimless gigling again.

Her smile faded away it was almost like she recognised him, then she smiled her sweetest, which made adi fall…fall..??? no no I can't fall in…"the L word!!!" of course not!!!
He immediately got up and tried to go out but maithili caught his hand… he stared at her for a moment
"good night…" she whispered and left his hand.
She closed her eves and endulged into deep slumber. Adi stood there beside her, just loking at her. The wid blew through the open window and on her face. It ruffled her haid out of place, so adi tenderly moved the strands of hair behind her ears.

He moved his face closer to her face, he didn't know why but he could'nt stop...but he somehow mannaged to stop...

he could'nt understand these feelings he developed for her but it certainly wasn't another form of hatred!!! he sighed and just made his way downstairs and joined the party.
