sorry guys fr being so late but i just had this massive brain freeze and had no clue what so ever on what to write and i was just cought up in so many things that i couldn't update...but now that i have finally managed to write a chapter i'm going ot post it 😛 *well duh! thats what i'm here for* 😆
ok so enough of my silly talks and on with the chapter 😃

Chapter 58

"Your boarding passes sir.." the man behind the desk asked.

Adi checked his pockets and grew irritated upon not finding them

"here" a woman hands two passes over. Adi looks at her and smiles. She raises her eyebrow and smiles him.

Sitting down in the waiting area Adi stretches his arm

Sighing heavily, he speaks: it feels so good going home hai na mets

M: hmm…I can't wait to see mom and dad and bharat and tannu and

A; ok ok…list mein jaanta hoon! You don't need to say everybody's name!

She wacks him lightly and shakes her head

"All passengers travelling by jet airways by flight 560 are now called for boarding"

A: that's us!

Adi and maithili both get up and board the plane. He closes his eyes once onboard and sighs…only he knew how relieved he was to be out of Dubai and away from that Garima.

"adi!" he turned round to maithili signalling him to sit down

"oh…ha" he closed the lugage compartment and sat down.

"SURPRISEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" everybody yelled and the lights turned on in Mehra Mansion to greet Adi and Maithili

"wow you guys! I didn't know you did this all for me!" Adi spoke grinning but Maihtili seemed a little baffled…

"oh shit!" Bharat spoke

adi looked a little confused

"we did it for Dadi moron! Not you! Its dadi's birthday today!"

"oh sheesh! How could I have forgotten?!?!" adi spoke in shock himself

"ok now hide quickly before she comes!" tannu hushed adi and maithili under the table.

"hello?? Is there anybody home??" Janki devi's voice was heard as she entered the house

3…2…1… "SURPRISE!!!!!" everyone yelled and came out of their hiding places

Janki devi seemed as surprised as ever, her eyes welled slightly and she came towards Bharat and Tannu…

J: you did all this didn't you

Tannu slowly nodded and so did bharat

She pulled the both of them in a hug and signalled adi and maithil to come forwards as well. Pranay and Mallishka joined in the hug as well.

Adi wiped janki's tears of and kissed her cheek…

"Happy birthday dadi…we all love you very much"

"And let the games begin!!!" Bharat yelled as the lights turned on and balloons burst dropping sequence and confetti on Janki and the rest of the family.

Jd: bharat what's all this?

B: see, dadi, usually we have a grand party on your birthday but today we decided to have a little family gathering with fun and games all night! How's that sound?

Jd: that sounds…great!

Janki smiled whislt bharat lead her and the family up to the terrace.

All of the family sat in a circle on chairs and bharat explained to them the rules of the game they were playing.

B: so, we all pass this cushion round and when the music stops, all the passing stops. Whoever the cushion lands upon, that person will have to perform a dare that the person sitting on the right of them will choose for them. So if it stops on mom, then to the right is dad, so dad will choose a dare for mom ok? And…if any one person in a couple gets out, then the other person in that couple is out as well, ok?? So if Mallishka di got out, then Pranay bhaiya too gets out automatically get it!

Everyone nodded in agreement and Janki Devi offered to operate the music system and the game began!

The music started and the cushion was being passed round. The music stopped and the cushion landed on Shikhar.

Everyone laughed and cheered Shikhar.

B: sooo dad, since I'm on your right, you have to…sing for mom!

Shikhar looked threateningly at Bharat but bharat just grinned

M: come on dad! You can do it!

Mayuri was just looking away and got up when Shikhar held her hand.

The room silenced and everyone stared at the both of them.

Dekha jo tujhe yaar

dil mein baji guitar

Mayuri hit her hand on her head and tried to wriggle her wrist out of Shikhar's grasp but he would not let her go and continued singing. Tannu and Bharat started whistling and clapping and the others joined in.

Shikhar got up and started dancing round Mayuri while she just drowned in the embarrassment.

Adi got up and started dancing round Mayuri pulling her into his arms and Mayuri whacked his shoulder.

Adi sat back down next to Maithili and unknowingly placed his hand on hers. Both looked at each other for a second and smiled. He tightened his grip round her hand and looked away as if nothing was happening. She rolled her eyes but couldn't stop a blush creep up on to her cheeks.

The game continues and the cushion was again being passed round. It landed on Prem and the music stopped but he quickly threw it into Shruti's hand.

Mai: mom! You're out…

S: nahi. Your papa cheated! He's the one who's out not me

Mai: nahi nahi mom…you're out not dad.

P: yeah Shruti! Stop lying!

Shruti glared at Prem and he grinned back at her

S: fine! What do I have to do?

P: just like how shikhar sang for Mayuri…

S: Prem no! don't even..

P: you have to sing for me!

S: Prme no I won't do that!

Mai: come one mom! You have to do that! don't be a spoil sport!

Shruti sighed and thought for a second.

A mischievous glint appeared in her eyes and she began singing

main kyaa karun raam mujhe buddha mil gayaa

haay, haay buddha mil gayaa!

Everyone started laughing while Shruti pointed at Prem

Main gudiyaa hasin meri morani si chaal hai

sar mein safed usake dada ji sa baal hai…

She sang ruffling Prem's hair while he pushed her hand away in annoyance.

bigadega har kaam mujhe buddha mil gayaa

main kyaa karun raam mujhe buddha mil gayaa...

Maithili couldn't stop laughing especially upon seeing her dad's sulking face and Adi took good use of this moment. He tugged at her arm and kissed her cheek and grinned looking forward as if nothing had happened. Maithili immediately stopped laughing and stared at him trying to give him her 'angry' look but clearly it wasn't working.

The game began again and this time it landed on Tannu.

A: oohhh…oh so my angel is out!

Mai: she's no angel adi! She's the devil of this family!

Adi grinned and whispered to Tannu what she had to do. Tannu looked shocked for a moment.

T: bhai you're telling me to do this!

Adi winked at her: its going to help sort out things!

Tannu gulped and got up…: one minute!

She spoke to the others and went downstairs.

The lights in the terrace suddenly went off and everyone looked worriedly

Suddenly one light came on and flashed on a petit figure clad in a red churidaar. The girl had a ghoongat on and everyone knew it was Tannu. She turned round and even though they knew it was her, they were still surprised as they had never seen Tannu in a churidaar.

Tannu walked towards Bharat whilst continuing to sing

She took off her dupatta and placed it round Bharat's neck and tugged him slightly closer whilst the family memberes stared at the two.

Aaja na chhoole meri chunari sanam

Kuchh na mein boloon tujhe meri kasam

She turned round so her back was against his chest and sang

Aayi jawani sar pe mere

Tere pe kya karoon jawani pe rehem

Suddenly turning round, she folded one arm and placed it on his shoulder

Then winking at him, she took her dupatta off him and pushed him back.

The family members stared at Tannu and Bharat in confusion. Bharat himself stared at Tannu in utter shock…what the hell was she doing? that too in front of the whole family???

Tannu looked at Adi and shrugged her shoulders..

She then sat down as if she had done the most normal thing at all! And the rest of the family members, still in a slight daze, sat down after her and the game resumed.

B: so now we have only two couples, Adi-maithili and Pranay-Mallishka..lets see which couple wins and out of that winning couple, which person wins!

The cushion was being passed round by the four with such speed that it seemed the cushion was flying from one to the other. The music stopped and it landed on Pranay.

Mall: kya Pranay! Mallishka moaned at him and he shrugged his shoulders.

Mall: theek hai! Ok, so you pranay darling have to tell me something, which you have never told me before!

Ad: ohhh you're in for this one dude!

Adi signalled as if Pranay was going to die

P: uh…Mallishka, you know when I said the other day I told you my secretry is male..actually I lied, my secretry is a female and her name is Naina. I just lied because you were getting all paranoid!

He quickly added at the end and winced under Mallishka's glare..

Mall: so I was getting paranoid huh?? Bata ti hoon! Kamre mein chalne ke baad sab kuch bata ti hoon!

Everyone laughed at the both of them fight and the game resumed

B: sooo now its only adi bhaiya and metz bhabhi…lets see who wins!

Maithili whispered into Adi's ear before he sat opposite her " iss baar toh mein hi jeetoongi Adi! I won't let you win like how you won during the ring fight!" (referring to chapter 37 – the game just after AM's marriage)

And he whispered back "iss baar bhi mein hi jeetoonga!" and winked at her.

The music started and both of them passed the cushion. When the cushion was in Maithili's hand, adi mouthed, "I love you" and she blushed. In that action, she completely forgot about the pillow in her hands and the music stopped leaving her as the looser.

Tannu: whoot whoot! So adi's won this competition!

Mai: ah! No he did not! He cheated!

A: oh really! what did I do?

Mai: you…

She began but stopped upon realising that it would be far too embarrassing to say it in front of the whole family

Mai: fine!

She murmered in a low voice and adi grinned

Ad: sooo Maithili…my darling wife…

Adi spoke edging closer to Maithili

A: you have to..

He spoke leaning his face closer to her and casually scratched his cheek indicating she had to kiss him there

M: no! no no no…don't even..

A: dance! And sing!

He spoke moving back

M: what???

She thought he wanted her to kiss her but infact he was just teasing her

M: I am not going to dance! She spoke getting up but adi held her hand and pulled her down into his lap.

A; you either dance or kiss me...your choice…he whispered in her ear

Pushing him away, she got up… "Fine, I'll dance". She watched adi grin and stared daggers at him, only to increase the width his grin.

She stands behind Mayuri but slowly peeps out

She shings to shikhar as if complaining about Adi

Sh eloks at him shyly and blushes

Adi grinned and winked at her once again while she glared at him and turned her head away.

JD: chalo ab! Bohot raat ho chuki hai…lets all go to our rooms!

Everyone left but adi held maithili's hand and stopped her. The terrace was empty now, and it was only the both of them there. He slowly walked towards her from behind and gently placed a hand on her waist turning her round to face him. A gust of wind blew past ravelling her hair and he watched with awe at how beautiful she looked with the subtle hint of moonlight shining on her face. Slowly…gently…with his fingers, he moved her hair back and tucked it behind her ears. Her gaze moved to meet with his and both of them stared at each other.

She saw a yearning look in his eyes, a look so pure, so childlike that she couldn't stop a slight smile surface her lips…

her lips! He stared at them as soon as she smiled. Placing his hand on her cheek, his thumb gently rubbed her lip seductively…

ok so that's it for now...and i know all of you are ready with your dandas to hit me...especially amina with her chaaku😆 but not to fear...i'll update soon...hopefully!😆

The whole chapter was amazing;I especially loved Tannu-poor Bharat!🤣;and the last AM bit was sooo😍😍😍...
