Loved the whole chapter... a few of my favs were:
"Praney tumhaare khayal bun raha hoga…Usse kya pata… tum toh meri soch ban chuki ho…"....

"Maithali… jaanti ho, tumhaare aane se pehle… Vikram-Aditya Mehra sab taraf chayah tah… Aur aaj dekho… Wohe tum mein hi… kahin gum gaya…"
the whole sequence whern he comes into her room,putting her jewelry, Maithili state of mind that time..................all very beautifully written
n the whole last scene: simply wonderful 👏 👏

About the "completion" factor, I'm glad you felt a closure to it... but as we know it, its hard to round these stories off as they are an actual continuation of the characters lives, if you know what I mean.
