After maithili had finally managed ot get dressed and get adi dressed, she went into the room next door to tend to Janki dadi..

M: ji dadi...what did you call me for?
J: mahili beta, are things ok with you and adi?
M: ji dadi, everything is fine, maithili said with a shy smile
J: so, i can get my hopes up for a great grand child from you two??
Maihtili shyly smiled and turned to go when she bumped into Adi.
Adi, who was listening in to the conversation flashed her one of his broadest grinns
A; so he said raising his eyebrow...
M: adi!! maihtili siad whacking him and running away.
Adi laughed and turned round to face Janki..
she immediately held his ear and twisted it..
A: ow dadi!
J; badmash!! evesdropping!!
A: ow dadi chodiye na! office bhi jaana hai!!!
janki laughed and let him go.
Adi went to his room to maithili.
He found her searching his wardrobe..
A: maithili...what are you doing?
M: taking out your clothes...
A; for..
M: office..adi!! you don't even have one decent shirt!! all of them are either t-shirts or slingtops
Adi grinned and hugged maithili from behind
A: and your problem with that is..??
M: its not appropriate to wear for office!!!
Adi chickled and cuddled maithili further..
A: why...are you jealous...jealous that other girls will find me attractive the same way yo did!
M; haha...funny...i'm not jealous!
A: then why is your face green??
M: its not!!
A: yes
M: no
A: yes!!
and before maithili could answer adi crushed his lips onto hers and kissed her. She couldn't do anything but respond back.

just then the door opened and tannu came barging in....
Adi and maihtili parted and looked at her quizzically..
tannu looked annoyed..
A: whaT??? we're married! AND...its called privacy!
tannu chuckled looking at maithili's scarlet face nad left.
T: oh adi....a certain 'natasha' is on the phone for you...she said something along th elines of..'i'm his ex..'
adi gulped and smiled nervously at maithili who just rolled her eyes...
M: better call up ALL your ex girlfriends and tell them you're married!!
adi grinned and left.

sitting in office, all adi could think of was maithili, he had never been so much in love. he had never been so happy in his life than when he was with her.

Maihtili too was only in thoughts of adi, his eyes, his grin. She couldn't concentrate on anything!

Adi called home and at the first ring, maithili picked up.
M: adi...maithili spoke, not even confirming, but commanding almost.
A: how did you know it was me?
M: i..i didn't!
A: liar!!
M: praise me for once will you!! she said acting annoyed
A: oh no!! i've done all the beggin before marriage, now's the time ot redeem my manly pride!
Maihtili giggled at this.
M: why did you call?
A: because i miss you..
M: adi! its only been a couple of hours!
A: but it feels so much longer! you know what! i'll bunk office!
M: no!! Vikram-Aditya mehra! this isn't college where you can bunk!
Adi chuckled: i love it when you say my name like that...
Maithili rolled her eyes.
A: ow quickly give me a kiss and i'll put the phone down..
M: umm..no!
A: metz please!!
M: no no no!
A: fine, then i'm comming home and kissing you there!
M: no no!
A: then kiss me on the phone!
M: uff!! 'umma' she kissed him on the phone and quickly put it down. He laughed at his stubburness and his childish behaviour.

As soon as she turned round, she faced Janki
M: umm...dadi?? aap..
Janki slyly smiled
M: i..i was just...you know...a..
J: adi was on the phone?
M: yes..
J: and you kissed him on the phone?
M: uh..no...ye..no...saying so maihtili quickly ran off into the kitchen.
Janki smiled and shook her head.

at night, when adi came home, he saw the house decorated in candles and lanterns.
In the middle of the hall he saw a table of 2 set out with candles on it and food served. He genuinly smiled at what he saw.
A: maithili!!
he called out and saw her slowly come down the stairs in a ravishing red white sari.
She walked upto him...
A: all this??
M: woh acctually...everybody at home has gone out, so i thought why not...
A: come on! you couldn't have thought all this!
Maihtili looked annoyed and whacked him. she turned round and walked away.
adi mentally kicked himself and went after her...
A: woh i didn't mean that! i just meant that you're not normally romantic...you know...
Maihtili glared at him..
M: what do you mean?
A: no..nothing...i just...
Maithili sighed...: you're right! tannu and dadi told me to do this...it wasn't my idea...
Adi smiled and hugged her...
M: aren't you annoyed??
A: why would i be annoyed...
M: well because nearly all the gilrs you've gone out with must have arranged for such things and they must have worn mini-dresses and...
Adi just laughed mid way..
A: maihtili, i can't believe you don't see what i see...
M: what do you mean?
A: you're the most special person in the entire world to me....and thats because you're you!..its because you can't carry off heals, its because you get anry easily, its because you don't wear mini-dresses, it because you're you...
M: well thats a nice way to compliment someone!!! maithili said annoyed...
A: ok ok...sorry baba....
he held his ears and she smiled looking at how cute he looked.
He placed his hands round her waist and whispered in his ear...
A: did i ever mention how breath-takingly beautiful you look? how you're eyes captivate me...how i long to press my lips onto yours...
M: 'that' you didn't mention...
adi warmly smiled and kissed her lips. Her arms rested on his chest and she kissed him back.
she rested her head on his shoulder....
a: can we eat now??? i'm really hungry..
Maihtili smiled and served the food.
Both of them fed each other.

After the meal was finished, Adi turned on th radio nad Kal ho na ho heart beat started playing.
Adi held his hand out...
A: care for a dance?
Maithili nodded and took his hand.
Both of them danced to the soft beat and maithili rested her head on adi's chest, slowly drifting off ot sleep.

Well this was the finale guys....hope you liked it...

NOTE: i'll be starting a new ff soon which is totally different for the other ffs i've written, it has 10 people in it and a completly new and differnt setting and theme.
