Um, hey guys! I'm Prags. Caught the show yesterday, all 4 episodes, and I'm really enjoying it so far!!
I like how they're depicting the lives of daily soap artists, because it *is* very hectic, and they actually work a lot more than us corporate 9to5 job people. The added touch of having Sona talk to the audience in between scenes is really refreshing and I love it.
I also adore how down to earth Sonakshi is. She dearly loves her fans so much and it shows. She also respects the team behind her a lot, which is very visible in all interactions. I like that.
Her mom is the one character I haven't liked much so far, but I know that's the way it's supposed to be. And I especially love how they're reiterating the fact that though she's greedy, she doesn't see her daughter as a cash cow and really cares about her.
And then there's Rohit. Obviously, something has to be said about Karan Grover's comic timing because it's so freaking good! Like everyone else, I've loved the scenes with him making a mockery out of Sona's show. It was so well done.
One thing that stood out to me is that he really struggles with all this praise, and it just makes him such a better doctor because he wants to push himself even more. I also love the fact that he knows the names of all the stuff that work for him in that giant hospital.
His family is also great. I love how there aren't any stereotypical villains and they're a happy family, well, except his parents. Don't know what's going on there.
And the 26 September mystery. That's very interesting. I think it's somehow related to Sona's father. But I can't be sure. It seems like Sona might have been in an accident because she's got that mark behind her ear. So, what would a cardiologist be doing in the middle of that? Or maybe her father's heart gave out or something so they had to bring him in? Whatever it is, I'm really looking forward to watching it unfold.
This seems to be very different than the typical ITV shows, and I hope it remains that way!
