If she had left home, others would have yelled at him and he would have missed her and maybe realized that he was harsh with his words when he yelled and gone to get her.
He wouldn’t have understood that he was wrong though. Let’s face it, if she left home right after the studying drama, he would have thought it was all because of what he said after the studying drama, wouldn’t have understood that it was a build up from everything. That is why he refused to apologize even because he was wronged instead.

So, maybe this may be it. Just face him and throw his words back at him to make him realize that not everything is clear cut.

I totally agree! If she had left after the studying drama, he really would have thought that it was because of that and not because of the build-up...which anyone in real life would also think the same...so in a way like Arpi said this is best...tit for tat!
