I love Gungun as she is a compassionate woman which is the most important virtue I value in a person.(We see this side of her when Gg consoling Boo in award function episode and also Akriti birthday 🎂 , helping Golu Chachu, Goli when she is locked up in room).
She has been naive but I think she is slowly learning to take stand for herself starting with anukriti shaadi episode. The show might show gradual development of her character into a smart and independent person.
As she is a modern women ,she must have not been obsessed over Sindhoor marriage which was done without her consent.(Would she react same way if Ronnie had applied it first?) I wish writers could have avoided this..

Yes, I didn't say compassionate, I said "loving".
So her love will allow her to open up to others, be compassionate, etc....
And I don't think she is obsessed with the "sindoor" itself. But more about the "status" it gives her. It's her "identity" as a married woman. Maybe afterwards she won't have to do a ten metre long line, but for the moment it's the only thing that proves she's married.
I have prepared my analysis on Anubav.
@music_girl, tomorrow I will do the analysis on Anubav's love for Gungun. I've started it... I'll give myself the evening to think about it.
Hello, this is my first time posting in this forum and have been mostly a silent reader, however, I started watching KKIS since last week and felt the urge to comment.
I also wanted to say I have been a silent reader of your analyses and you have a keen sense of observation and an eloquent way with words, that it always fascinating reading any work of yours.Although I do find myself disagreeing with some of your opinions, I do respect how you provide your explanations behind them.
Let’s cut to the chase, Gungun is one of my favorite female lead characters that I have seen in a very long while. Logically compel myself to root for the female lead, because logically she is the lead and will not change unless there is a drastic change to the plot/the actor leaves/ or etcetera. Very few female leads have me cheering for them, respecting them, and seeing them as a character that is not reel but more so real. Gungun is such a character. I have speed watch a lot of the episodes and have seen a room for potential growth, whether positive or negative, of her character.
First off, please understand that Gungun is a very flawed character who is spoiled, dependent, naïve, insecure/craving for love, blunt, and can be seen as insensitive at first glance. She was shown as spoiled and insensitive in the beginning as her ignorance was evident about the lack of understanding of certain customs, traditions, and familial relationships.
o Example is when Gungun get into an accident and instead of punishing her for speeding and a close hit/run he showered her with promises of love, protection, and security. Trust me, I understand she received a devastating emotional blow but do believe consequences and punishments should have been established
However, as we see further layers we see the frustrating bouts of kindness and love that Gungun has for people and people mistake it as naivety or foolishness.
Which on a degree can be, if there isn’t discernment behind the actions of people that she toss her love towards and whether they are receptive and reciprocal in that relationship. Although she might not have the foresight to understand the concept mentioned above, she does know that her friends are not real. They are there to fill a void and she uses them appropriately. However, when she needed concrete advice, from someone she believed had her best interest, she asked. In the case of her mother, she asked advice from Anu, concerning accepting/forgiving her mother. Asking for advice isn’t always a form of dependency but is a sign of strength of reaching out for someone else for help. As individuals we don’t have all the answers; two heads are better than one.
Her actions of suicide is a knee-jerk reaction of the loss of her permanent figure of dependency: her father.
Once he passed away, the reality of adulthood and making adult decisions was piled upon her, which is something she never had to face. Her father was her protector and primary decision maker. Though Gungun may have been opinionated about a lot of things, she still trusted her father and his decisions. She was dependent on her father, which isn’t bad, but because her father was overcompensating for an absent parent, he didn’t give his daughter the chance to stand on her own two feet, be responsible for her decisions, and face the consequences of her mistakes. It is not easy in such a situation. To grow up when you have been coddled for almost a large point of your life is not easy. Telling such a person to grow up, will not happen overnight and sometimes they will latch on another person to be their primary decision maker. Such a person can either grow by facing the reality of life through hundreds and thousands of setbacks or by staying locked in their codependency and having their life continue to spiral out of control.
· So,Gungun made a decision on her own, which was suicide. Whether it is a setback, mistake, strength, error, or foolish is up to each one of us and depends on our belief system. I will just say, during that time Gungun sees Anu as a source of someone who can be her decision maker and can be someone she can lean on. She saw him as a replacement for her father, which was an escape from growing up and owning up to her decisions.
To summarize.
Gungun is a very flawed young woman who physically grew older but never mentally aged. She was stunted in her growth from an insensitive mother and a guilty father. I understand her character as I grew up in a large family whereI was the last child and where the older siblings were instructed to take care of me. Although it seems loving and wonderful, codependency develops and the mentality of someone always being there to cover the messes is ingrained. However, as adulthood approached and siblings drifted to their respective stations, reality hit. Mistakes, errors, setbacks, failings, and straight up stupidity occurred. However, the difference is that I have had more time for that growth to occur. Gungun has had only a few months on the TV screen and less than a month to show us if she can make that growth. That’s not fair. Whether the producers or writers can give a satisfying development and end to her character is yet to be known. We honestly don’t know what she will do, as Gungun herself doesn’t know what to do. She is walking on her own, facing adult decisions, and bearing the impact of her decisions.Nonetheless it will be interesting, to say the least, on how her character unfolds.
I thank you for your message NaijaLuv88 and for silently reading me ^^
I understood what you mean and of course I agree with all the points you said.
But for me Gungun is really not a character I can "love" in the short term.
I'm a strong woman, so I don't forgive easily when something that can be done by the woman and she wisely waits for the solution to fall into her arms.
As for the suicide part... I won't talk about that part. Her loss is great, so whatever she decides to do at that point, she won't get any judgment from me. I wouldn't call it a "decision" though, but more of a "reaction".
As I said, Maya destroyed her daughter, and that stigma will remain until the end. I don't expect much change in Gungun, because that's how the character is portrayed.
For asking for help, I didn't say it's a weakness, I pointed it out in the sense that she can't "judge" herself. It's good to ask for help, on the contrary, but what I noticed above all was that she was lost. She didn't know what to do, yes, Anubav gave her good advice, but in the end, the advice didn't "guide" her, she just said "well Garima and Anubav said to forgive and give Maya a chance, so I'll do it..." I don't know if you understand what I mean ^^
Anyway I appreciate your message, and I wish you courage to continue supporting Gungun in the next adventures... !
SPOT ON AS ALWAYS.
Gungun is that character that more than anyone needs a development. She's too codependent of others and this has lead her to heartbreak after heartbreak.
Like in the current situation, no matter how much you love someone, she had to force a solution out of the mess and not just caring about buying a fake mangalsutra😭
She has money, power and status but lacks common sense, that's why Ranvijay keeps winning over her.
If there's a character that i want to have a 365 turn it's her.
But we know that vankar loves doormat and forgiving FLs so...
PS: realistically speaking, if i was GG i would have already used the money to capitalize more lol
Age is not everything. It's the trials of life.
Here we have Gungun who has been protected all her life. So she grew up carefree. And her suicidal tendencies are not linked to her age either, but to her insecurity and lack of self-esteem. She doesn't know how to fight for herself.
It's sad that she is so vulnerable but again and again keeps getting broken and hurt
They should have sent her to therapy for har s tendencies 🤔 She really needs help
I find Gungun’s character very very vulnerable. Maya left her, Riddhesh was busy, we know how busy doctors are and for Garima May be she was physically present but some part of her heart was with Aakriti. Plus Garima is also a very weak character.
Gungun has no stability at all that’s why she had suicidal tendencies.
I still think if Maya and Aakriti didn’t come in between them Gungun might have got the love care she deserved from Anubhav and K family.
But we don’t want her like that. We want her to be strong. No matter what Maya does, Aakriti does, BP does, Ranvijay does. Or she should just concentrate on Riddhesh’s hospital business, finish her studies… she should not care about her love Anubhav filling her mang and then marry Aakriti ( her cousin).
Not every girl can’t be ITV super heroine.
But we don’t want her to be ITV typical doormat bahu as well.
I just want her to be normal. I just want Gungun to be stronger. She can depend on Anubhav but don’t think about suicide when he is not around. When Anubhav tells her to wait, give him time, she should but when time comes she should not stop Anubhav to tell the truth. If she wants to sacrifice her love for Aakriti or K family, if she thinks Anubhav did wrong marrying Aakriti she should have the courage to leave all this drama.
I do trust Anugun love each other. So I think Gungun should be strong but she doesn’t deserve to lose her love.
MFRanjini, music_girl and xChandrax, I will answer you in one message ^^

Yes, Gungun's character needs a lot of development, but in the sense that the scriptwriters mean it (considering the promo...) because here, we're going to make her "strong" so that she can fight for her love... OH the joy!
She needs to be developed so that she can be the master of her life, for herself and not for others!
Music_girl
I don't know if it's sad... Like I said, she needs the trials of life for her to grow, but here they just made her even more vulnerable and dependent on Anubav... It's meant to be so they can bring them back together, but it's becoming detrimental for Gungun.
MFRanjini
Gungun can't do anything...
Even yesterday she tells Anubav that when he is not there, she has no desire to eat. That she waits for him to feed her!
This may sound flattering to Anubav, but it is a big psychological problem in itself.
Gungun is dependent, but really too dependent on Anubav's existence and the relationship they have. Yes it's because she lost her father, so the support and expectation she found and looked for in him, she transferred it all to Anubav.
Even for Anubav this will end up being exhausting.
"Damn I didn't go to see Gungun, did she eat?"
"Damn I didn't talk to Gungun, is she still alive?"
Gungun wants Anubav, but she doesn't want to hurt the others (Akriti and the Ks) so she is here playing... " No, don't say anything... Not now..." But at the same time, she wants Anubav to do things. When he wants to do it, just let him. Although each time it wasn't really "perfect" moments, but when you want to take off a bandage, you have to pull it off at once so that it doesn't hurt too much, that little by little...
