Divorce VS Annulment - Page 3

Hi, I'm new here, I mean new to the KKIS forum. I've watched a few initial episodes and now got hooked to it again from the Dr. Riddhesh death track.

Found this post interesting so giving my two cents here.

This love triangle's equation is kinda very tricky according to real life standard lol. Coz obviously people do the offence of bigamy in real life too but not on the same day like our dear scientist (ofcourse he's a scientist for a reason n had to invent something new in his personal life too, lmao).

Logically and legally too the status quo of both the marriages is confusing and questionable. The basic requirement for a marriage to be valid it is required that they complete the marriage rituals of either culture that they follow, pheras n all are legally not mandatory. Putting the sindoor only in their culture made them and the people around who saw them assume that they are now husband and wife, kind of valid enough. Also, if there is enough evidence to presume that the people around consider them as man and wife then the court shall consider the same.

Chronologically GG becomes his first wife, so Akriti's marriage becomes null n void automatically. But for getting that annuled usually the first wife files a case.

Here if after the revelation if they cordially decide to part ways, which is not going to happen lol. But Anubhav can file for annulment. Akriti wont do that coz she obviously wants to become their "gale ki haddi" after that.

I hope this cleared some of your doubts.. and if not, sorry for creating more confusion.. coz this is actually a confusing situation.

okay so on my other forum we really danced the circles around Indian law to figure out a 2 marriage situation.

1. There was no wedding. Its not counted since he married GG first. No annulment or divorce required.

2. Anubhav can be charged for cheating (as in hid his 1st marriage) and misleading Akriti to marry her since he did not tell her about is first marriage.

3. This man and his mood swings are beyond me.

Agree on this, forgot to add the cheating point in my previous post.

Akriti's wedding stands null and void since the beginning. So, after the revelation they can go their ways aise hi.

Anubhav is already sharing room with akriti but ? Dnt knw maybe even same bed its so cringe to even think annulment n all this. Until now theres no cliseness n makers r being smart showing him msotly absent frm house or with gun to satisfy fans n show shadi hogayi but relation koi nahi ab tak physical n even emotional aisa .

I hv a doubt is anukriti sharing same bed ? Or hes staying in another room like SR day? N if they are as shown in tdays epi how come akriti isnt trying to get close i mean the lady is so despo

No Hindu culture can make GG his real wife, even the customs differs from place to place, still he is isn't married to GG.

Anu is just confused and spineless and live in his lala land.

Can only open his mouth in front of GG otherwise mood swings hote rehte hain isse.

Kaand khud karega and frustration dusro per nikalega.

I agree. But I am talking from a social perspective, like someone had rightly said 'flying sindoor and drone dropped mangalsutra' also count as marriage in ITV
