I understand your anger and believe me, I am more enraged on the lack of security than upset that everything is gone but they are blaming me. And the campus police stated they tried and failed to locate it within campus so cannot do much. I cannot file an official complaint with city police as I am not a citizen. I honestly dont know what to do now. And guess what? Newest development is that the robbers have withdrawn all the cash from my card with my pin (which they found in my phone) so the transaction seems legit and I cannot even file for fraudulent claims.

The bags were inside the classroom, next to the door. The robber had the audacity to steal from inside the classroom. No CCTV cameras in classrooms for privacy reasons. i wonder if something worse i.e. rape was to happen and noone found out because of this dumb reason, what will happen? Would they still be such ********?

The bank should be able to retrace that step and ATMs have cameras anyway, so they should be able to figure out where the money was taken and who took it, and then we have forensics as well, so the bank themselves can investigate it if you state what had happened.

This is outrageous Tanu. Hang in there bud!! Man this sucks! Wish I was closer, so I could have helped you somehow.

They had left my notebook behind so I got that checked for fingerprints. No avail. The university police cannot get the bank to look at ATM cameras. They dont have that authority. The city police wont file a complaint as I am not a citizen. The bank has validated it saying that they had the right pin and card. I know its absolutely ridiculous but this is what my life has come to now in the last 48 hours.

All my ways have a roadblock on them.

So seriously hoping my efforts pay off.

The culprits need to be severely punished.

I cannot afford losing my stuff, cannot reconstruct anything back.
