There are plenty of people in the story who could represent faith AND have something to do with the plot. The thakur, for instance.

I could've understood if Gauri were love interest. But she doesn't say a word when he's beaten up the first time; she doesn't say a word when people are ready to beat him after he returns from the hospital. What kind of love interest is she supposed to be if she can't even defend him in public?

And Namrata doesn't exactly represent science/logic. Rahul does. But whatever the eventual outcome of her romantic feelings, Namrata does move the plot.

Gauri is fluff at this point. In a thriller, a character like hers is wasted screen time.

May be Gauri will prove her worth in the later part of the story
Namrata doesn't believe in all the blind faith

Gauri not speaking up in public for Nandu may be as she doesn't have he courage to go against thakur
Namrata being his daughter can do it

My friend Arwa, I started telling her the concept of this show and said it is about a temple where this this thing happens and she immediately said that is impossible God cannot kill!!!!

The story is a conflict and confusion between faith and science ... Gauri represents faith and Namrata represents science ( well , not exactly science but Y'know what I mean , she doesn't have as much trust in faith/ religion as gauri , hence she took rahul to the hospital )

You can't deny science!!!!

Exactly!!!!

Well Namrata often uses faith or the blind faith of the villagers to save Rahul!!!!

At other times she stays quiet on the blind faith to do good work (which villager would send their kids to a teacher who talks against their beliefs)!!!!

Isn't so obvious that there are much of people behind the death and surely temple is the main centre of illegal activities going what's is the better way to keep the villagers away in the name of God and adharm.😊

Gauri is representing faith myself being a religious girl can say that but doesn't means u ingnore science

Science and faith goes hand in hand

There is logic behind everything.

Faith often gives birth to superstitious and that what happening with gauri and villagers
