What exactly is her purpose in the plot? Even as love interest, she never speaks up when Nandu/Rahul is in trouble. She doesn't move the story forward. I find her a distraction.

I wish CVs would either give her an active part in the story (villain, sleuth, anything) or kill her off.

I am sure she has some role
we may know it later
as love interest I am not sure
as Rahul treats both in the same way till now
so we can't tell now who will be his love interest

The story is a conflict and confusion between faith and science ... Gauri represents faith and Namrata represents science ( well , not exactly science but Y'know what I mean , she doesn't have as much trust in faith/ religion as gauri , hence she took rahul to the hospital )
