I am not sure if you all have noticed that over time Apurva's acting in Kajjal has become less intense. The first few months, he seemed to be in all his fury like the intense Armaan, but I think his displeasure with his current situation is showing a little bit...his expressions lack some of the intensity that we (as his fans) have always seen, enjoyed and revisited. I guess when you are unhappy with your work, it is hard to give it all you have. Those of us who work know that. I miss that spark in him, the spark that was Mussorie, at Radio City, at home during the Mahadasa phase, and even during the contrast of the tapori Raju with the serious Dev...however these days somehow he is not there....As a great admirer of his work and a big fan, I somehow miss the Dev we were introduced to and the Armaan we knew. Even in JJKN when the serial was dragging and he looked tired, the spark was still there...I feel that he has given up on Kajjal and its producers and that he is going to be professional enough to complete his contract. I had heard his interview before Kajjal when he was excited to be part of Kajjal and Sony, so I hope he stays with Sony and that Tony and Diya Singh start a new show with him on Sony. He is too good to be lost like this, and I surely hope that he won't have to become part of some of those bad soaps on Starplus.

I don't think its Apu's fault..its actually the fault of the storyline which has completely butchered his character and all he does is nods to every decision of the goat community ...now how can an Actor of Apu's calibre find these stuffs interesting 😕 ..so obviously the disinterest is showing in his face and rightly so 😊 ...I will b really happy if they now decide to end the serial with a proper DK milan and happy ending 😛

Very true the intensity and the acting Apu showed till this whole Bhadarpur insident started was rocking..Even he tried to show some passion during Dev and Kaajjal's wedding and we all felt the chemistry is back but this Adi track is getting in the forefront and Apu is just getting offscreen and for an actor like him this is very unfair!!!!!..Please Sherya Creations we need Apu back with the major role like in the old Masoorie days and Rock radio city again with duo Kaajjal so get this Adi track ASAP and get DPS back in form otherwise we'll be dissapointed and feel unhappy abt spoining a beautiful storlyine!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭

I can't blame Apurva at all for what we are seeing. Dekhney ko mil raha hay wohi lagta hai kafi hai. JJKN went on for so long but that man persevered. He looked tired but he kept on. I guess even though JJKN had its bad moments he had a good working relationship with Diya and Tony Singh and he kept going until they ended the show.
With Kajjal the problems are not only with the stupid and unnecessary twists and turns, but also that the production house changed hands, the new house doesn't seem to hold much credibility because it doesn't look like they know where they are going or how to keep a good serial and its good actors wanting to belong. Maybe they don't even care. They loose Rati Agnihotri over money issues, there are the stories of delayed payments to other stars, other stars like Rita Bhaduri just vanish...its hard for stars, I believe, when there are all this glitches after glitches. After all this is their work and a good working environment is a must in all professions.

All in all I miss the beauty and intensity that Apurva expresses in all the earlier episodes of Kaajjal and which I revisit in the reruns of JJKN. I wish that things were different with Kaajjal and that we would all get to watch these two good stars for a while in equally great episodes - not just romance but in other moods. I didn't think when the serial started that it would come to a crashing end like this before a year.

One thing I hope that before the serial ends, we can resurrect all those lost links of Kaajjal on this site so that when Dev is gone we can revisit our favorite episodes from October 2006-March/April 2007 - after that all hell broke loose.

Many of the January links are active on the mediaputfile site.

Hey kmukher,

I totally agree with what you said. Apu has been looking dull in the past few episodes and it is totally due to the way, the story is moving. They should'nt have ruined the whole romantic track of the serial, by bringing in Adi and Shivansh Kapoor. Shreya is once again mixing up the whole track and now the serial lacks the originality and the essence of romance. 🤢

Apu understood that the story is going to jump into new twists and turns. So that made him feel that his energy and talent is wasted. So he surely would be getting bored now and want to quit Kaajjal. I feel that he should do it, because now, there is no importance given in the serial to DPS. So at this point, its better that he leaves the show and Sony people axe the show from the channel. 😕

Maybe Apu will get to enter into a much better project and do a more novel and challenging role than this one. So its better that he finds a better arena to stage his talents. Hope he will do one new project and we will get to see other facets of this wonderful actor.😳

I completly agree with what u said; i have noticed that too. But, i think it's the production house that's to be blamed. They have completly ruined Apurva's character in the serial. We, the fans, don't get to see the type of Dev we got to see in the beginning of the serial. If u guys have noticed, Apurva doesn't get to do much in serial now...n if I'm not wrong, this show was abt. DK...but i don't understand why other unwanted characters are being introduced into the story that are not even related....uff!!...don't even get me started....These Shreya ppl hav no clue at all what they are doing!!😡...this serial is going no where...

I agree with u Jyoti it is not Apu's falut but it is definalty Shreya's falut for the reason why Apu quit and this storyline is going anywhere and Apu said in the article himself the he hates the storyline but yea I think too it will have a happy ending too and the casts of Kaajjal should take a break for all there hard work into putting into this show together.
