Kaajjal is still lost in her thoughts and trying o face the reality that she has actually been married to this guy (Dev or Raju, she is still confued). She talks to Dev in her heart, "Dev, God is a witness that I have married to none other than you, these pheras that I have taken, this sindoor that I have in my mang, and this mangalsutra that I have in my neck are only in your name. I don't know if you are raju and raju is you, but I know that not matter who he is, I will only be yours and no one other than you can touch me. For my every breath belongs to you, my every passion belongs to you, and my every feeling belongs to you and only you."
Dev looks at Kaajjal and realizes that she is again lost in her thoughts and touches her on her shoulder, she feels an electricity running down her spine with that one touch, and look up at him, "chalo, lets take everyone's blessings." Dev and Kaajjal get up and go to NT first.
NT has this happiest smile on her face and tears of happiness and love in her eyes. Kaajjal sees this and couldn't resist but getting tears in her eyes as well, and thinks "I am sooo glad I could bring this happiness on your face aunty, for Dev would have given anything to see this smile on your face. I am soo glad I could do this, lagta hai apni mohabbat ka aik farz tu ada kiyamain nay. No matter if my happiness is at stake aunty, you and papa are the only people that matter to me now, and I can and will do anything for you two." NT looks at Kaajjal and takes a ring out of her finger, "Dev's grand ma gave it to me, and her mother in law gave it to her, this ring is in our family from seven generations. This is a symbol of love and honor beta, and I now give this to you, to protect and keep the prestige and maan of this family." Kaajjal looks at Dev at this and Dev looks at Kaajjal with an unbelievable kind of love in his eyes, it was as if he is telling her, I respect you and worship you for all that u have done for my family Kaajjal. I am soooo lucky to have found you and soo proud to be by ur side as ur husband. Kaajjal senses these unsaid words, as if she heard every thought of his and looks back at NT. "beta, along with this ring, I give my son to you, for I know if he is with you, he is in safe hands." She moves her hands over Kaajjal's head as a gesture of love and blessing. "do u remember, I told u that day, if u have soo much faith that Dev is alive then bring him here and I'll believe that ur love is higher than my love, and you have proved ur love Kaajjal. Your love is above everything beta and I am sooo satisfied to know that you are going to be his partner all his life. Thankyou beta, and be with my son always, your love is his protection" and hearing this, those big tears that have gathered in Kaajjal's eyes role down her cheek, "I promise aunty, Dev will always be in my heart, and I will always love him." "nahi beta, aunty nahi, mom kaho, ab say main tumhari bhi mom hoon," and at this Kaajjal hugs NT and just closes her eyes. For, for now she doesn't want to think about anything but NT mom. "mujhay nahi pata tha aunty, mujhay zamanay baad mom mil jaain gi, aaj mama jahan bhi hoon gi bohat khush hoon gi," and at this she looks at her papa and he gives her a loving smile with tears in his eyes. Here Dev when hears her saying, "I promise aunty, Dev will always be in my heart, and I will always love him" senses her distress again, and at that moment he want to kill Karan for making Kaajjal suspect him again. He just looks at Kaajjal hugging his mom with sooo much love and concern, "I promiseyou Kaajjal, the way u have brought love and happiness in my and my mom's life, I will fill ur life with love and happiness …. Dhukoon kay liyay koee jagah nahi choroo ga main …. I promise Kaajjal."
They then take blessing from Satya, Panna Chachi, her husband, Nandani, and then they move towards Karan. At that moment Kaajjal want to slap his on his face and she feels like vomiting at the feeling to have to bend sown and touch the feet of this man who deserves nothing but punishment, and hatred. Dev looks at Kaajjal and she looks at him, and they both exchange some unsaid words, Kaajjal worried he might be a mohra in Karan's hand, and Dev thinking, I wish u would believe Kaajjal that I am none other than ur Dev … and then he looks back and Karan, and thinks "I use to see dad in you, how much had I loved and respected you, bhaiyya, and you destroyed my trust, why did u do this bhaiyya???? Why??? But I promise bhaiyya, you will have to pay for every tear u have given into mom's and Kaajjal's eyes, and every pain u gave me. u will have to pay for it. I promise" and then they bend down and touch his feet, and Karan has this wicked smile on his face, thinking, "now that u have ur bulbul taken care of, I will see what needs to be done to take care of mom. Than I'll move my attention to Kaajjal and then you, u have to go as well Raju dear."
They than move to Veer, and while about to bend to touch his feet, Veer stops them, "hey you two, bhaee main itna bhi bara nahi kay meray paon touch karo, and he looks at Kaajjal first, "aaj say tum meri bhabi say zyada choti behan ho, and you bhai will doo everything to protect ur happiness." And hearing this Kaajjal feels sooo loved and happy, and then he looks at Dev, "aa galay lag ja yar," and then they hug each other, and that brother love between the two tears kaajal's heart apart, she hinks about Karan and then about Veer and see a visible difference between the two. ……. And then veer says "meray bhai, main aaj teray liyay bohat khush hoon, and I pray kay tujhay duniya ki har khushi milay, always remember, your Veer bhai is always with you," and hearing this Dev have these tears in his eyes, for he is happy to see this love in Veer's eyes, and sad to think how will he react when he will know about Ameesha's evil acts and plans.
"chalo bhai, ab zara kuch rasmain waghaira ho jaain" Nandani interrupt the two borthers, and hold Kaajjal's and Dev's hand and make them sit side by side on the sofa. Kaajjal tries to move a little away from Dev, but Nandani cathes it, "ab itni kya sharam Kaajjal, ab tu tum donoon hamesha kay liyay aik ho gayay ho, ab tu paas betho," and she gives her a mischievous smile. Kaajjal, with no other options, moves close to Dev so that their shoulders are touching each other's. once again, Kaajjal feels that electricity running down her spine, and she feels weak in her knees, "why in the hell am I feeling like this, only Dev had this impact on me, no one else can make me go weak other than Dev, and then she looks at Dev, once again with confusion in her eyes, "kaisay manoon kay tum meray Dev nahi," and then she looks away, "shaid abhi kuch agni pareeksha aur dainy hai mujhay" and she closes her eyes. Devs is silently watching these ups and downs on her face and he knows, Kaajjal wants to believe that I am Dev, but her love for Dev is not letting her go. I didn't know Kaajjal kay tum mujh say itna pyar karo gi, itna pyar kay har khushi ko aik imtihaan say guzarna paray ga. and then Nandani brings a red zari dupatta and puts it on Dev and Kaajjal's heads. And slips a mirror inside so they could see each other's face in it. Kaajjal closes her eyes and Dev looks at her, o how beautiful she looks, how exquisite, how I want to hold you in my arms Kaajjal and never let let u go, how I want to touch your eyes and ur cheeks and your lips, how I want to make u mine in every possible way known to man and woman … o how I want it Kaajjal!!!! How I want you!!!!" And all the time Kaajjal has her eyes closed, and Dev upon seeing this have a sad smile on his face, so even after all my telling, u don't believe me Kaajjal. And he whispers very gently, that only Kaajjal can hear it, "I love you Kaajjal, please trust me; trust your Dev." Oh that voice, that way of speaking, that way of saying I love you, o how can this not be my Dev, he cant be anyone else, and at this, Kaajjal just wants to hug this man sitting next to her, but all she does is promise to herself, "please forgive me Dev if this is you, but unless I am sure its you, I cant look in this mirror, but I promise, I will make up for every second we miss once I am sure u r my Dev. I promise Dev, I will make up for every moment."
The next 2-3 hours are spent doing these small rasams, dinner and seeing off the guests later. And then NT announces, "Ok its time to retire, come-on Nandani, take Kaajjal to Dev's room, for she must be very tired." And hearing this Kaajjal feels the ground slipping off her feet. O my God, Dev's room!!!!!!!!!
