All his fellow participants visited temples and prayed for Amit Paul's health to improve. They showed in yesterday's episode that he was sitting in bed, very sick with a throat injury, trying to rehearse his singing, but was coughing as he tried to sing. Hopefully he is back next week, all well.

He came to US and performed in Raleigh, NC during India fest last weekend March 8-9. I saw him live. He was awesome and all the girls were going crazy for him.

He did not perform on the 7 and 8th K for Kishore episodes and I believe he was shown ill on 14th March episode. However here are sources saying that performed in Raleigh,NC, USA on the 8th and 9th, which means he was well enough to travel to US and also sing. Last week's k for Kishore episode must have been shot by say around 3rd or 4th of March. So even if I believe that he was unwell and on bed on the 3rd or 4th to record for K for K, then how could he travel on 6th or 7th to sing brilliantly on 8th and 9th of MArch at US?

And if he has already recovered then, why was it shown that he is in bed,indisposed this week. If he has recovered enough to perform in US, wasn't he well enough to sing this week or he fell sick again.

Now was this whole "being unwell" a cover up by Sony to let him go perform in US?

What is the exact truth?

I rooted for Amit Paul during II days but this has come as a shock to me. I know this is just Sony's ploy but still.....

Amit Paul, delayed by his flight, could not perform on the first day of India Fest yesterday at Dorton Arena. He is in Raleigh now and will perform at the Dorton Arena at 6pm today evening. Today's India Fest program starts at 1:15pm at the Dorton Arena.

Indian Idol star Amit Paul has arrived in Raleigh. He performs at India Fest on Sunday at 6:00 PM.

Due to bad weather, Indian Idol star Amit Paul's flight to Raleigh was delayed and he was not able to perform with the band on Saturday, March 8. However, on his arrival after an arduous fourteen hour wait at JFK, NY airport, Amit Paul was in high spirits and said that he is ready to entertain Raleigh! He is scheduled to perform at 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 9.

The episode is shot around Tues-Wednesday. So if he was unwell last week that means the date was March 4-5. He was unwell this week too so probably the scene was from March 11-12.

How can Amit Paul get cured, fly to US--sing and then get sick again?🤔

I think it was just drama to show Amit Paul as sick on the show while he is happily singing in the USA.

IT is very unfair on the original contestants to allow Amit Paul to continue even when he doesnt show up and eliminate Apurva who was doing a very sincere job 😡

I think it is just drama from sony tv to make sure that fans of amit would continue to watch the show to increase their trp...they r just making poor amit a scapegoat 😭

My sweet NILIIIII(Sorry about that but just wanted to call u Nili...)..you are here good good.....well of course we are right...we all know that Amit can not lie....and thats why we love him.....but i am sure he'll be back if not then he has nothing to loose....as he has many playback singing offers and he is also doing many shows....so our Amit is moving one...great going Amit...we Amitians are so proud of you...👏
