K for K lacks Quality

I feel that there is absolutely no quality in K for K. Amit Kumar keeps telling the challengers that the six Kishore bhaktas are super singers and keeps cautioning them I think this is absurd.

Are Nayan Kumar, Apprva & co are as good as any of the challengers. I think Sony decided to bring in the challengers to improve the quality.

I hope Amit leaves. He looks drunk most of the time

When I said, Amit, I meant Amit Kumar - one of the judges.

#1, Amit Kumar is a fantastic singer and he has a good understanding of music overall. I've always been a big fan and believe he's so underrated as a singer. #2, he is Kishore Kumar's son. More than anyone else, he is the reason this show has any credibility. So if he goes....I honestly feel the show would be pointless. But I do agree that what he says isn't always what I feel is right. But that's his opinion. There are judges on every show that make you sit up and say "HUH?" It's unavoidable.

Anyways, I don't really think the show is a big hit show to begin with, so I'm not sure if I see it continuing past this season. But maybe I'm wrong.

I fully agree with you, Sophia. And yes RockFortji, I think KCP's opinion is right! Lets throw the gem out and start to praise the pieces of glass. I DO NOT say Himesh is a piece of glass. He also has his own fan following. But this show is purely based on Kishore Kumar. and Amit being always so close to his father only can know about his father SO WELL. And when it comes to giving consistent judgements on contestent, please tell me one contestant who has consistently sung good? What can the judges do when today's singers do not have the versatality like the Legend Kishoreda? So in that case, SONY should stop referring to contestants as 'Close to Kishoreda'.

One more thing, I would like to confess that I have almost stopped liking this show. I sincerely hope, better singers come ahead to join this show and make it worth watching!

p.s. AMIT KUMAR DOES NOT LOOK DRUNK AT ALL. ROCKFORTJI, I WOULD SINCERELY REQUEST YOU WATCH HIS LIVE SHOWS AND CONFIRM BY YOURSELF THAT ITS HIS STYLE OF TALKING! HE IS NEVER DRUNK IN K FOR KISHORE. JUST LOOK AT HIM CAREFULLY WHEN HE HEARS A CONTESTANT SIGING A SONG EVEN LITTLE NICELY; HE CLOSES HIS EYES AND HEAR VERY VERY CAREFULLY AND MANY TIMES ALSO NOTES THE POINTS DOWN ABOUT THE CONTESTANTS. HE IS EXTREMELY METICULOUS WHEN IT COMES TO SINGING!!! THERE CAN BE LOT MORE SUCCESSFULL SINGERS THAN HIM; BUT NOT BETTER THAN HIM; I SINCERELY DISAGREE WITH YOU, ROCKFORTJI!

I completely agree to what you wrote about the Drunk part but this is one part I sincerely disagree with you. There are too many better and successful singers than him.

Bhaskar, there is no point in arguing on personal choices. RockFortji wrote somewhere that there many singers who are better and succesfull than Amit Kumar, to which I also sincerely disagree. Being better than someone or being successful is all relative. What I find better, that YOU may not find it. So its not even good to make such statements for such veteran singers like Amit Kumar. And at last this K for Kishore in which Amit Kumar is MOST CLOSEST person to Kishore Kumar because ultimately he is the son of Kishoreda. And everyone ALSO knows how much Kishoreda used to LOVE Amitda. So please and please if you can not see Amit Kumar as successful or good singer, FINE; BUT please abd please DO NOT compare him with anyone.

And Bhaskar, you can happily stick to your own opinion. At last we are here for only taking fun of the show and discuss good/bad about in more nicer way, so that if in case if anyone from SONY TV read about our opinions might like anyone of our idea and implement that in their show. So please lets keep this place as happy as possible. 😊

Exactly the message even I wanted to pass. That it's all relative. There are better veteran singers who were successful and good than Amit Kumar, again as per me. You disagreed with Rockji, I with you. But I did it more to show you exactly what you have written now.😆

This part I totally agree. He will/has a whole lot of experiences associated with Kishoreda and is the best person to share them.

And when it comes to giving consistent judgements on contestent, please tell me one contestant who has consistently sung good? What can the judges do when today's singers do not have the versatality like the Legend Kishoreda?

This part I disagree. I singer can be inconsistent , but judgement cannot be inconsistent. Here one is not commenting on the singer but on the song the way it was performed. Judges should have a fixed criteria and judge on that and not be whimsical. But sorry to say Amit Kumar is one judge, who keeps contradicting himself over and over again when it comes to judgement and is consistently inconsistent. In that department, only Sudesh Bhosle seems to do justice to judgement here.

THERE CAN BE LOT MORE SUCCESSFULL SINGERS THAN HIM; BUT NOT BETTER THAN HIM; I SINCERELY DISAGREE WITH YOU, ROCKFORTJI!

And I disagree with you..😆Amit Kumar was a good singer ,no doubt, but for some reason singing wasn't exactly was his top priority. That was the reason why he never came up in life or established himself in the top list of good singers. He had immense opportunity when Kishoreda passed away, but he let go of his chances for whatever may be the reason. To be a good singer apart from talent one needs 100% dedication, hardwork and sincerity. Amitda surely fell short there and the historical results are here for us to see. So I don't agree that he is the best singer. He could have been had he tried, but he didn't.

I am also a fan of his, but I can see this lackadaisical attitude being his biggest drawback.

Advil, "unfortunately" Amitda is a son of Kishoreda. And he has always and always been compared with his father. Amit Kumar was born with silverspoon. So he was hardly worried about his career and all. Even Kishoreda himself used to worried for his career as singer because he was never serious about it (ofc, this is a Padhi-Suni Baat). But when I think from Amitda's point of view and when I also Heard him saying that he is not very ambitious person. And he never wanted to do any sort of chamchagiri to get a song; I think he was right in his own way. Everyone has his own choice to live his life. So that was Amitda's choice. But STILL he is the BEST (According to me) and he can make justice to ANY kind of song. Today the clones of Kishoreda has a particular label e.g. Singer x is good for singing soft song, singer Y is good for actor xyz, singer Z is good for tapori song, etc etc. But look at Amit Kumar, he has sung all types of successfull song. e.g.

Soone shaam savere [Khel]: Touchy and Sad kind of song
Har ghadi dhal rahi [Saransh]: Song that has immense depressing mood
Dekha jo tujhe yaar: Recent poppy number
Chhori ki baatein: Recent poppy number
Hum aur Tum [Jamai raja]: Superb love song
Kehdo ke tum ho meri varna [Tezaab]: Super Hit Love song
Tere Liye Sari umar jaagu: A Love Gem which is always heard as one of the BEST song of Amit Kumar
Tapori [Baaghi]: A Tapori song
Tunna tunna: another Tapori Number

I have a huge list, but I have tried to give the most popular numbers. All I am saying Amit Kumar is the BEST and versatile singer.

But still, we are not here to argue and criticise other singer. And afterall other singers also tried their best to be successful and ofc they are successful.
