Sumer comes and orders Mandira to cook special lunch for his friends who are coming over. Asha listens in and then rushes to Jyoti for help. She asks Jyoti to stay with her and help in cooking something special for the guests. Jyoti is restless not knowing what to say. Rashmi comes in hearing their conversation and offers to help instead, stating that Jyoti has to go visit the doc. Jyoti leaves.
Jyoti comes to visit Roshni at Pankaj's house. He is glad to see her and tells her how much he missed her and how happy he is that now Roshni can have both her parents' love and care (pankaj… you have no rights whatsoever. I think Jyoti needs to keep reminding him abt the court order). She is left stunned hearing him talk abt how really blind he was to trust Neelam who left him and the baby, and touches Jyoti's hand in the process. She pulls her hand off and looks on confused. He apologizes.
Sumer's friends come for lunch and praise Asha for her culinary skills, but Sumer intervenes that it wasn't Asha, but Mandira who made lunch. Asha is hurt and leaves from there. Chachisa smirks.
After spending some time with Roshni, Jyoti is abt to leave, when Pankaj requests her to stay for lunch. After hearing him go on abt how alone he will be after tomorrow with neither Roshni nor her in his life, she agrees for lunch. He takes her to the room where lunch is served with candles decorated around. Clearing uncomfortable seeing all this, Jyoti reluctantly seats herself and Pankaj sits right next to her. He tells her how overjoyed he is to spend this time with her. She serves him his plate, and as soon as he takes his first bite he chokes on it and starts coughing (he is playing it perfectly and Jyoti is falling right into his trap.. all of a sudden she seems to have gotten back to her 'door-mat' ways, not concerned for Kabir's family, Asha's problems, Vikrant and Rashmi's problems anymore). She hands him a glass of water and he drinks it holding her hand along with the glass. Jyoti quickly gets her hand off. Pankaj continues to talk abt their earlier times when they were together and how they always fed each other etc etc. He goes to feed her the same way now, telling her how this is the last time he'd be doing this. She stops him and clarifies that things are different now… saying that she leaves from there.
Back at the Sisodiya house, Sumer, his friends, chachisa and Vikrant are seated in the main room after lunch, with Asha standing there. Sumer's friends ask him abt when he plans to have kids (such intrusive friends!). Chachisa interrupts that Sumer longs for a child but can't do anything, since the problem is with his wife who can't bear children. Sumer agrees with her and calls Asha 'bhaanj'. Asha stands there humiliated in front of everyone. Just then Jyoti walks in hearing this and screams at Sumer (thank heavens! the new-improved Jyoti is still in there somewhere… wonder when she'll wake up and stand up for herself in the Pankaj issue). Jyoti rebukes his friends for sitting there doing nothing when their friend humiliates his wife in front of them, then she requests them to leave. They leave quietly, and Sumer looks on.
Chachisa mocks Sumer for saying nothing when Jyoti insults him and his friends. Sumer yells at Jyoti that he will divorce Asha in 10 days (what is with his ongoing countdown to the divorce day…). Jyoti reverts back that he needn't wait that long and Asha will give him his divorce tomorrow itself, if he can medically prove that Asha is the one incapable of bearing children… and he is not the one with the problem here. Everyone look on stunned when Jyoti asks him to get tested as well. End.
