After Delhi and Haryana being struck by mind bobbling and horrifying stories of honour killing I am not shocked that it is now Kabir's turn to face the trauma. This is social issue based on the inequality raised in our society classifying people as upper caste, lower caste, rich, poor and many aspects we the artificial people of India have given birth to.I am happy that the CV's of jyoti who have always tried to show social issues like domestic violence and divorces and the consequences faced by a woman has now taken a step forward to show how a family takes life of their own/son and daughter just to save their fake aan baan aur shaan.
My question to all these brutal families, what would u do if you are dying and a lower caste person comes to your help?Refuse him?huh......I am sure you wont.....So do rules change when it comes to you?Give it a thought and u will come to know what true aan baan and shaan actually means and what a massacre u have been committing all these years only to kill not your son or daughter but the most sacred thing in the world..LOVE..
Do post your comments on this matter friends,we all have to fight it out.It is our right and it is our responsibility too.Ready Steady Go...

Thanks Payalgarg for opening this topic .I enjoyed and also sad about the bare truth you mentioned. It exsits in every society I do'not see India and I am not an Indian either but we have some problems the same as you in your country .I love to see india some day .

I am following "jyoti"for more than one year and I accustomed to its up and downs after all that happened to Jyoti the Death of Kabir is unfair .The Kabir's family are terrible but I can not belive that they trying to kill their son to save the honour of family .It seems that Kabir was right that time has stopped in the sisodia Khandan .
I think if Kabir dies, this show has notting to say.A Man like Pankaj can do anything with his money and power, kicking her our ot the house at midnight stealin her child and ..........and poor Kabir dies for Pride of the family ,that 's not fair.

Yes, that was something missing from the CIVILIZED part of Udaipur Jyoti came from

This will be something totally new for Jyoti but I am sure she'll fight back
A very good thing that happened was that Pankaj took away Roshni!

Otherwise the child would've become a blackmail kinda tool for the Sisodias, especially Kabir's Chachi and Sumer, against Jyoti

India is a beautiful country to live in and I am proud to be an Indian. But there are some problems that is eating its beauty. These need to be washed out to make it a golden bird once again.People are good. They live for each otherI I felt proud for my nation when after the rescued foreigner guests of Taj and Oberoi after the Mumbai terrorist attack said on TV that they will be back to India. This can only happen in India my friend. So Atithi Devo Bhavo! You are most welcome.Come over some day and feel it...
I just hope someone comes and saves Kabir.

Thanks Payalgarg for answering but I can understand what does it mean "Atithi Devo Bhavo! ".I have read so many books and see so many films and serial from years ago but after all this some times I see a new film I feel that I dont know so much thing about India .By the way I hope you are right and somebody comes to rescue Kabir and saved his life .It 's too much for Jyoti to face another tragedy and Without Kabir these serial will lost its attraction .

Well guys,
Even I come from a family, which is kinda prestige conscious and that is a prime reason I completely favour Kabir

If we get into the ROOT of the matter, honour killings are not EXACTLY for honour, though, honour is always associated with it

It is generally the girls from high-caste families and as we all know, the more honourable the family is, the lesser a girl is respected or valued there
Hence they kill her, because in any case she shall be of no use to them
Ironically, the younger male generation of the family, rather than the older one initiates this

The reason is hard-hitting but true, that though they've had all the fun and enjoyment of youth like all others, they want wives from RESPECTABLE and RICH families, which may become doubtful if your sister has eloped.
That is why they do away with the PROBLEM.

Why am I talking about girls only? Because, guys generally prefer to enjoy and then move on to marry according to the wishes of their parents, just so that they are not deprived of any inheritances.

Kabir can get killed for three major reasons:
  • Kabir is open-minded and will never sacrifice Jyoti's love for anything.
  • The family already has two sons other than Kabir so they don't mind sacrificing him.
  • Kabir doesn't have his mother who might venture out to protect him.

I just hope Jyoti realises this and does not pressurize him to convince that Mad-house at the cost of his LIFE. After all,
A bird in hand is worth two in the bush

Yes ur right. But I dont agree with you that only the girl's life falls under threat. If u go through the recent cases of honour killing, a few couples have been murdered together.
Jyoti pls pls let go this stubborn attitude and accept kabir as he is.This will take his life..

Atithi Devo Bhavo which means guests are God to us.When a guest arrives at our place,be it from anywhere in the world,it is our first priority to treat him as if we would do we we find our worshipped god in front of us.we will keep our stomach's empty but will feed him and will put our lives on stake to protect his life.
A lot of people would say that these are only said in words and does not mean in real in today's materialistic world. But No,I have proof. After the Mumbai terror attack, rescued foreigner guests after being asked what they felt said they would love to be back to INDIA.After being rescued from such an incident and escaping from being mudered by terrorist that too in a foreign country do u expect a tourist to make such a statement? No.But they did.Because they felt the nature of priority the soldiers had for saving their lives over killing the terrorists. This can only happen in India and I am proud to be an Indian.

Thanks again "Payalgarg" for answering me I am so excited to learn more about you languages .But do you know I do'nt heard this words in the films of northern part of India I think it is Sanskrit word or belongs to the southern parts .I can understand the languages of northern part of Indian or may be better to say I am famililar with Hindi ,Gujrati,Marati......but I can not understand the southern parts languages such as Telgu ,Tamil, etc.I had an Indian friend some years ago her name is Varsha after she came back to india we did not any contact with each other but I definately agree with you.She invited us for dinner and as long as we ate the dinner she stand behind us and I was uncomfortable but we said it in Farsi "mehman navazi "Means the ultimate hospitaliy of the host .So you have to be proud to be an Indian.I am a foreigner but Your culture and civilization of India fascianted me .

So I think if I want to continue I can write more but now it is enough thanks again

Yes I agree, couples have been killed too, but if you examine closely, in such cases the killing initiative is taken by the girl's family, who prioritizes their honour more than their daughter's love.

I just want that Kabir escapes soon and, heaven forbid that, but even if he dies, Jyoti should get to know this, or even better, Kabir should die in front of Jyoti, so that it enrages her further and she comes back for revenge!
Or then she may rescue and hide the dying Kabir somewhere and he may get saved by treatment,
Double whammy there!!!! Jyoti gets some senses in her head and Kabir is saved too!
A further track may get shaped where Jyoti changes her identity and comes to avenge Kabir's death from the Sisodia family.
