we all love SUDAY and hate cm ..but i have been thinking abt it and a question came to my mind dt one of the reasons which cm gives for not accepting sudha is dt she has mental illness and she doesnt want someone as her bahu who is a mental patient ..SO is she wrong???dont ya all think dt all the mothers would think da same way as cm thinks??i know cm is not a good person and she has bad qualities but somehow i can connect to her problem of not accepting sudha cuz of her disease..
OR
she should understand dt uday's happiness lies wid sudha only..no matter even if he would have gotten married to a PRINCESS he would have never been happy cuz he loves sudha..and despite knowing tht cm is still against the marriage..is it cuz sudha is a mental patient or cm has her own ego problems and she thinks its her defeat dt uday got married got to sudha????

If Jyoti and Sudha are sisters, why would it be a disgrace for Sudha to enter the household as its second daughter-in-law?

CM's objection is that unlike Pankaj, who wasn't born blind, but became blind, Sudha's condition is genetic. But it's not - Sudha developed this insecurity and DID after a lot of abuse from her dadi & also her step-mom. Also, Jyoti never asked whether Pankaj was born blind or not, and would have accepted him even w/ the risk that her kids could be born blind. Yet, she chose to be large hearted about it and marry him. (In retrospect, she should have found out more about his family before she agreed: had she known about CM in advance, she'd not have entered into this ugly situation.) Also, if this problem w/ Sudha is genetic, then that's applicable to Jyoti as well - Sudha wouldn't have just gotten this out of nowhere. (Somehow, CM looks more mental - sometimes, she's nice to Jyoti, gets her a Rs 3 lakh necklace, and other times, abuses her and her family.)

Uday too knows about Sudha's condition like Jyoti knows of Pankaj's. Yet, he chose to accept her. Once done, that should have been it. At Jyoti's wedding, KK did take Jyoti aside and asked why she was doing this, but she said that his disability was no reason he should be denied the right to marry or be happy. Same goes conversely for Uday. CM could have discussed this w/ him in the same spirit, and once he said that he wanted her with all her shortcomings, she should have accepted his decision. Particularly when the same generousity was shown by the family that Sudha comes from. By drawing the mean contrast b/w Pankaj & Sudha, CM is showing herself to be a self centered hypocrite. She deserved to be humiliated the way she was.

KK accepted Jyoti's decision to marry Pankaj: in the same spirit, CM should have accepted Uday's decision to marry Sudha, and not throw status, mental health and other things into it.

i have a problem with the way cm puts her points forward on the whole "Sudha has an illness" matter

for one thing her illness is not inherited because she developed it later on in life after all the trauma she went through

and for another, its like she's saying that mentally ill people can never get better and should never marry

and she made it sound like mentally ill people should not marry into rich families but its alright to marry otherwise

CM was very wrong to force Uday to marry someone else because as uday says, he will be ruining the life of Sudha, the new girl he married and himself

so for one persons ego he was supposed to ruin 3 innocent lives?

i agree i dunno why cm keeps mentioning dt sudha's problem is genetic..doesnt she know sudha got dis illness cuz she was tortured??? and when cm was putting her point, jyoti should not have been silent she should have told her the reality..
and cm being mental is so true..i think she just wants to show off her money dts why she keep giving dese expensive gifts to jyoti..

kk is a sensible father and cm is a total opposite.. she wants a perfect bride for pankaj but when it comes to sudha she thinks it in diffrent way..HOW HYPOCRITE..

true i also hate the way she calls sudha as "PAGAL LADKI" ..its too insulting..
she puts her point in a bad way..i would have felt something for cm if she was genuinely concerned abt sudha..but i do think as a mother she wants the best for her kid..
but she fails to understand dt uday can only be happy with sudha ..

she was tortured badly by dadi..once in the exams two girls (sudha's classmates)were cheating but when teacher was about to check them they kept the chit in sudha's bag or something..and when teacher found out tht chit in sudha's bag she was angry with her and even her own dadi dint believe her and dt teacher told sudha to open her clothes infront of the whole class dt incident had a huge impact on her and dis is how she got the problem
