Way to go Devika!

Today's episode of Jyoti was truly a joy to watch, and I am so glad to see that there is atleast one person in the show who can tell CM and Meenal off. Really, just for that I think she deserves a round of applause👏

It was wonderful seeing her call Meenal a servant and her tell CM to relax and not get so hyper. Even though we don't get to see a lot of her, Devika is really a lovely character and she was very much needed. Atleast there's someone who can get the terrible two to finally shut up. I really didn't want today's episode to end, I was having too much fun watching CM and Meenal get bashed by Devika. While I can't expect any of the sort from Jyoti, atleast I can hope that once in a while after the marriage Devika takes form and gives CM the lesson she deserves.

Yeah, and I loved her making cm the template of the annoying prudes who insist that their grown up kids are in bed by 10:30PM. I especially liked her reaction to Jyoti when she was told that everyone is asleep @ 10:30, and she just mocks them 😆😆😆Also priceless was her comment to Jyoti that there's nothing interesting going on in their own lives, which is why they blow up such small things out of proportion 😆😆😆

Once Sudha is married, and ever becomes Devika, she can even slap Minal now and then, and get away with it, since she'd be Minal's bhabi. And after a few hostile encounters w/ CM, including a few beatings of CM by her, I think CM may become too reticent to confront Sudha, fearing to bring out the Devika in her. Once fear strikes and dominates her, she won't be thinking about whether Uday's kids will inherit Sudha's disorders.

Also, one more thing - Devika is a nice person, and (aside from her treatment of Uday) is only wicked to those hostile to her for no reason. In last night's episode, she apologized to MN&G for inconveniencing them. The trend of treating Devika as a pariah, while embracing real scum like Padma & Bhairavi is really disgusting. Now that Devika has realized what a nice person Uday is, the next time she surfaces, hopefully she'll accept Uday as her hubby and treat respectfully everyone who accepts Sudha, and confronts everyone who doesn't.

someone needs to put cm and meenal in their places and devika is the right person to do it

Once she is bahu, she'll have plenty of opportunity for that - in fact, they wont even be able to question why she is there, and they can't send her back to the Sharmas

that sounds great! i hope after the marriage while she lives with them she turns into devika and sorts them out properly

I am SO glad that Sushma took the right step at the right time and got Uday to make this decision. All thats left now is to see how he's going to get Sudha to agree. Jyoti of course, when she finds out, will run over there hoping to stop it (what a hypocrite!) but she gets there too late.

i totally agree with u..i just cant understand dt when jyoti knows dt uday is not happy with the engagement dan why doesnt she speak up???she always say dt she stand for thr truth dan why not dis time??sushma is the one who is acting sensible but jyoti who i had high hopes from has disappointed me big time..i dunno if jyoti will ever stand up for sudha once sudha is married to uday?i hope she does bt looks like she will just take cm's crap and will keep MUM..

Yeah, Jyoti, who was such a hero when it came to encouraging Sushma to confront Brij, is suddenly a chicken when it comes to CM. Why doesn't she once protest that things aren't her fault, and what's more, threaten to walk out of that family? Most self respecting women would have done that - at least the one's who aren't afraid of being unmarried, and Jyoti isn't. I'm hating Pankaj as well for being such a suck-up to CM - he's truly blind in the sense that he seems oblivious to CM's machinations. I do hope that Uday, who's so far looked like an apologetic suck-up, stands up to CM and tells her that he chooses Sudha over CM, and she could either accept it or walk out of their life. Also, I think Uday made a mistake when he didn't take CM up on her offer to leave after he married Sudha. Instead, she being the conniving manipulative bitch that she is, took him up on his offer and what's worse, took Pankaj & Jyoti to Kotah. Had Uday taken her up on that offer, he & Sudha could have had a happy wedding. OTOH, the Sharmas would not have approved.

And Sushma - she's the hero of last night's episode, from getting Uday & Sudha connected to talking him into calling Sudha and getting Sudha to meet him. If it weren't for her, Uday's marriage would have gone ahead, and Sudha would have had to restart from scratch. Although, this time, I don't blame Padma for hanging up on Uday. 😭😭😭 Funny thing will be - they will be there to prove that they were not resentful about Sudha being denied Uday, and then Sudha surfacing there as Uday's bride. 🤣🤣🤣

Another thing - I hate what they showed in the promos - Uday wearing a white suit, and Sudha in that orange and blue salwar-kameez. Here, Sushma at least had the sense to deck up Sudha - at least, that pink outfit is not so bad to get married in. Maybe Sushma could have decked her in a sari, but that would be overdoing it? 😆😆😆Not if she gave Sudha the pretext that she was headed to a temple, and should therefore wear a sari.

Now why was it that we hated Sushma again? 😆😆😆
