Aug 4 Written Update/Video [Complete!]

-Recap-

Sandeep sees Sushma dancing at a private party. Sushma too sees him and gets scared. When Padma finds out the reason Jyoti refused the Pagphera she feels bad and calls Jyoti over. She assures Jyoti that she will not do anything extravagant and Jyoti agrees.

-KK House-

Jyoti and Pankaj arrive and are greeted warmly by all. Padma tells Jyoti that she is glad Pankaj came along, she adds that by coming here today, she kept her dad's izzat in place. Pankaj complains to Jyoti that Sudha is really quiet and peaceful. Even at the wedding, she gave the shoes back so easily. Sudha sweetly denies and says it's because he is keeping his promise of always taking care of Jyoti. [A sweet bit. Must watch. I love Sudha]

Jyoti goes to greet Sudha, and Sudha quickly hides her wounded hand behind her back, and Jyoti doesn't notice this. Sudha hesitates a little when Jyoti asks her health, but dadi sends her to get sweets before Jyoti can ask anything.

Dadi and Padma explain to Pankaj (upon his questioning) that he is being given sweets because this is the first time he's come to their house with a formal invitation. Pankaj takes a whiff of the air and says to Padma that she's decorated the house well with all the fragrant flowers and incense. Pankaj asks Jyoti if this reminds her of anything and Jyoti shies away. [Another sweet bit. J+P = Best couple ever]

Sudha brings the sweets and Jyoti asks her what she was saying. Sudha gets all worried but assures Jyoti that she's fine, and asks her to not worry about her so much. Sudha gives sweets to everyone.

-Dining Room-

They all sit down for lunch and KK asks Pankaj is everything is okay, and Pankaj says he loves chatpata khana. Dadi calls to Sudha in the kitchen to bring the Puri's faster, and tries to get Pankaj to eat more. Pankaj says he never wastes food because that's an insult to the food. Everyone is awed/impressed by him.

Dadi teases Jyoti that she's gone thin after marriage and that she might be scared that if she gets plump then Pankaj won't like her anymore. Pankaj and Dadi agree that a girl should put on weight after marriage because it brings a glow about her. Jyoti scolds Pankaj and says that she doesn't want to become fat, and Pankaj teases her about not eating all this yummy food. Dadi tells Jyoti to eat because if a girl is healthy, then her child is born healthy too. Jyoti becomes shy while the family laughs. [All these scenes are must watch. Really cute and rare family moments]

Sudha is making puri's when she sees Sushma getting off an auto from the kitchen window. She panic's.

-Break-

Sudha ruses and opens the door before Sushma can ring the bell. Sushma nastily says that it looks like she was being waited on, but who would wait for her, since everyone here seems to hate her. Sudha tries to get her to leave and stops her from going inside. Sushma gets pissed and says that she is also a daughter of this house and no one can stop her from coming here.

KK sends Padma to get some special halwa from the kitchen and Padma notices Sudha at the door with Sushma and panics too. Sushma insults Sudha saying that she tried to stop me from entering the house. [As though she's the queen for the world and Sudha is the scum in the dirt under her cheap and broken shoe. Ha! Somebody kill her!]. Padma asks Sushma why she's here and she is shocked [Omg! The look on her face! Priceless! Take that you dirty 🤬🤬 ]. Sushma goes on this whole rant about, "Do I have to ask before coming to my own home? Am I not welcome here?" Padma is not impressed and tells her to answer the question.

Sushma moodily says that she had something to discuss with Sandeep. Padma tells her to leave and come back tomorrow, but leave right now. Sushma tears up and asks Padma why she is being like that [Umm... maybe because you deserve it?]. Sushma creates a ruckus and Padma tells her that Pankaj and Jyoti are here. Sushma gets a vicious look on her face and says that then she's here at the right time, to meet her wonderful sister, and that way she can meet her new brother-in-law, and he can meet her.

Padma asks her to leave again, but Sushma insists that she will show her face to him, who his wife ruined. Padma tells her that Pankaj is blind. Sushma says that now she has to meet him, to open his closed eyes towards Jyoti so he can 'see' her for what she is.

Padma tells her to stop her nonsense and not create a scene. She also adds that if she and Brij are welcome, then Jyoti and Pankaj are welcome as well. [Sushma gets like a surprised look on her face, as though she didn't realize this simple fact] If they both can't get along, then don't come in front of each other, but don't pull stunts like this as well. Sushma says she will leave, but only after meeting Sandeep.

Meanwhile, everyone is wondering where Padma disappeared off to. Jyoti says that she will check. She gets up and looks at the kitchen and sees that it's empty, and calls out to Padma. Padma hears this and gets worried.

-Break-

Padma sees Jyoti and covers up the door. She makes some excuse that there weren't enough badam for the halwa and she sends Sudha inside to serve the halwa while she takesJyoti back to the dining room. Sushma had an evil/pissed off look on her face when she sees this. Padma seats Jyoti. Padma tells Sandeep that a friend has come to meet him, and Sandeep says that she should have sent him away, and he can meet this guy later. Padma convinces Deepu to go outside, and he is shocked to see Sushma at the door.

-Outside-

Sushma gets all teary again and begs Sandeep to not reveal what he saw to anyone. Sandeep agrees and tells her to leave. Sushma goes on her usual and says that she knows there are special 'guests' in the house. Sandeep tells her to leave because he doesn't want any drama. Sushma says that she understand everything. Everyone is ignoring her because Jyoti's husband is richer, hence much better, even better than a sibling, and she leaves. [Deepu should have slapped her across her face for this one! Wasn't Brij also welcomed into the house when Jyoti didn't want it? Wasn't that also going after a new relation rather than a blood relation? Hypocrate!]

-Dining Room-

Sudha serves the halwa to everyone. Jyoti asks Deepu why he looks so down, and he makes up some excuse that his friend had some personal problem.

Padma does Jyoti and Pankaj's aarti and they take everyone's blessings. KK apologizes to Pankaj that he has nothing to give him apart from his blessings. Padma tells him that he's wrong, and she has something that is more valuable that anything you pay money for. She tells Jyoti that what she's holding is her mom's sari. Everyone gets all emotional. Padma continues that the sari was bought by KK for their anniversary and the shawl was bought by Jyoti's mom for KK, but she died before their anniversary. She tells Jyoti that perhaps her mom left this for her, and tells her to take the sari as her blessing. Jyoti eagerly takes the sari and the shawl and thanks Padma. [Very emotional scene. Must watch!]

-Pankaj-Jyoti Room-

Jyoti is at the window, hugging her mom's things. Pankaj asks her what's on her mind,and she says that being with your family has its own kind of happiness. Pankaj says that he's glad she's gone back to her family. Pankaj says that he can feel her happiness right now. He remembers the day when she reaches shishu-mangal, broken, and that day he promised that he would give her all the happiness in the world. But truth is that he would never fill the hole in her that needed her family. [Such a sweetheart😳]

Jyoti suddenly remembers Brij and Sushma coming home, married and gets tense. She hugs Pankaj and calms down a little. She agrees with him that a girl needs her maayka, and thanks Pankaj for brining her close to her family again. They hug again. [This was random, I didn't get it. Where did thoughts of the evil couple come into this?]

-Break-

Sandeep is in his room thinking when Padma comes there and asks him why Sushma had come. Deepu makes up that she was just complaining and blaming Jyoti for her condition. Padma wonders why she asked specifically for Sandeep and he says that he wondered the same thing, but he clearly told her to leave.

He adds that maybe because Sushma didn't get a response from her, and wanted someone to badmouth Jyoti along with her, he goes on to says that Sushma was also complaining about Padma. Padma wonders how to explain to Sushma to leave the past behind them. She tells Deepu that it's late and he should head to bed now, and leaves.

Deepu keeps having flashbacks of Sushma dancing and the sick guys talking about her. He gets a determined look on his face and calls Panchi.

-Street-

Brij is walking when he sees 2 guys. He tries to run from them, but they catch him and tell him that they were coming to him. They remind him that he was supposed to return their money. Brij says he doesn't have money right now. They see that he has a bottle of alcohol and they mock him that he has money to buy booze, but not to pay off his debts. One of the guys punches Brij and gives him 24 hours to return the money, or else they will beat him to a pulp. They take his booze and leave [God I hope he doesn't get the money in time!]. Brij is scared/worried and calls someone.

-Hotel Owner's House-

Brij enters the hotel owner's house, and the guy is really drunk. Brij mentions the 50 lakhs, and the hotel owner asks for Sushma. Brij promises that Sushma will come, and HO says that he will get the money when he gets the girl. Brij asks for some advance payment, but HO refuses and says that he wants the girl, and tells Brij to leave.

-Brij-Sushma Home-

Sushma is cooking when Brij enters. She sees the Brij is worried and sees his beaten up face. She gets worried. Brij lies and says that he got dizzy and fell; it's nothing to worry about. Sushma insists that he go to a doctor, but he says he's fine, and if he gets sick again, he'll go. [I hope he really faints and falls off a cliff or something] Brij says that he'll have to find a doctor that's cheap, and Sushma worriedly agrees. Brij thinks that he almost has the cat in the bag [and idiot Sushma will fall for it again]
