padma and kk are still fighting and jyoti can hear them over the phone, they continue to fight and she wonders what is wrong with sudha. kk and padma turn and then stop fighting suddenly when they see sudha gone. Jyoti wonders why sudha was talking in english and then remembers when sudha did that in the past. She tries to call again but cant get through. She wonders what she should do.
Uday walks in and asks if she is going to go to bed early. she says no and he says he is going to meet devika and may bring her home. she says ok and to call beforehand. He says there is no need for her to dress up as she is very beautiful. he then says goodbye and leaves reminding her not to go to bed. Jyoti looks worried.
devika is lying in bed, kk and padma are outside her room. kk is banging on the door asking her to come out when she responds in english, telling them to leave her alone. kk wonders to himself as to why sudha is talking to them in such a way when she has never done so before. dadi shows up and starts shouting at them for fighting in front of sudha who has just gone through so much. devika is rolling her eyes inside. dadi keeps shouting and scolding them and says two daughters have already left and if anything happens to sudha, she wont ever forgive them. padma is just standing there looking sad.
devika is waiting for uday at a pool side table and orders a coffee. She looks sad and disturbed. uday shows up and asks her what is wrong, she says she doesnt want to talk about it so he says he will act the same way. she tells him not to tease her and says she feels weird. He says the place is like that and it seems that everyone else has made an oath of silence. he tells her that they will go to a better place and convinces her when she tries to say no. she says she trusts him and walks away and he calls jyoti to tell her they are coming.
jyoti says ok and pankaj asks who it was, she tells him about uday coming with devika. pankaj asks why she seems so distrubed and says that if she does want them to come she should just say so. She says no and tells him about what happened with sudha. he tells her to call again and she says she did but it didnt work. he says she should go right away but she says no as it is late and she has to ask his parents before she can go. he says not to worry about them as they can tell them in the morning. pankaj calls the driver and then tells her to get ready. Jyoti worries about uday but pankaj says her situation is more important, he says she can meet them later and that they will understand. he leaves to get ready.
uday is on his bike with devika and she is telling him to go faster. he remembers sudha getting on his bike timidly and thinks about how different they are despite looking alike. jyoti passes them in a car and devika seeing her looks shocked.
Pankaj comes out and calls out to jyoti but she isnt there. he calls her and when she picks up asks why she left without him. she says she didnt want to disturb him and that he should rest. he says he worries about her to and wants to come with her and tells her to come back. she agress and tells the driver to turn back.
uday and devika arrive, pankaj greets them, they chat for a bit before uday asks about jyoti, pankaj explains and devika starts to feel weird. Uday says jyoti should be with her family and asks if devika agrees. devika says she feels sick like sudha does as well. she asks if she can go to the washroom and leaves, jyoti arrives. pankaj says they can wait for her. jyoti agrees. devika feels very sick in the washroom and keeps on hearing what pankaj said about sudha being sick and jyoti coming. Uday tells jyoti to go but she says no. devika splashes her face with water and then stares at herself in the mirror
